This just sickens me. Why should somebody's sexual preference bother you so much? Love is love, deal with it you twats. Don't like it? Then **** off. I apologise for my use of language there if anybody found it offensive and whatnot. How could the kids just stand there and laugh? It's not funny and it will never be. The assaulter should've been expelled, in my opinion, I wish the student and his mother the best of luck with pursuing legal action if they decide too.

I should probably add; the school has no legal authority. All they can do is expel someone for x amount of days.

Kids are bullied every day, and this is not different what so ever from any heterosexual kid being bullied. The only reason people react is because the press blow up the fact that the kid was gay. There wouldn't even be a news article if this kid was straight. Kids get beat up in school on a regular basis. This time it was a gay kid that a journalist found out about. Why did he/she write this article? Not out of pity, but because he/she knew that people would react to this and read it, hence why he had gay in the article title.

It's really sickening to see any type of bullying.

But it really does get to you when someone bullies another for whom they love.
I get picked on for having an online boyfriend sometimes, but never beaten up for it. I really do feel sorry for this kid, and he should be happy he's still alive.

I don't think a three day suspension is enough. At all.
Here if you do that sort of thing, you get sent to a school for 'troubled children'. That still doesn't solve anything, they don't learn their lesson.
They need to learn their lesson. Send them to some place, like... this might be going too far, but it's the only thing that comes to mind right now, a mental institution. Not to live there for a couple of weeks, well I guess you could if the parents see it to be fit, but maybe for some-odd hour sessions.

It really irks me, to see people treat one another like this. But right now, I guess we can only say, "It's life." It's sad we have to say it, though.

i my self do not support homosexuals, nor do have anything against them, if the person wants to have sex with people of the same sex, well...

thats totally their choice, homosexuals are still human and have equal rights no matter what, that video was sad, and i consider the person who did that un-human, and should have gone to to a Teen-Age criminal detention facility, not get 3 Days off...
