Alright... CX Did you actually make that quote just now? :/ I thought quotes are supposed to have a meaning behind them or something. What's the meaning behind your's?

 

The meaning is that every time a man is good, it's usually because of great woman. It's not even a metaphor. It's an extremely straightforward factual statement. Behind every good man is a great woman. How much simpler could it get?

I can sum up why being a game tester would suck in a few words.

Find every bug in Fallout 3.

 

Then find everything that's wrong with Call of Duty 2012, bug or not.

 

Oh **** no. I ain't doing that.

 

Then you aren't cut out for game testing.

 

Even the pro game testers aren't cut out for game testing.

 

Then why do they still do it? Were they forced to?

 

That goes beyond game testing.

...pro gamers =/= game testers

 

Nobody likes paperwork, it'd be nice if you got paid just to beat the game . . . but sadly they don't pay for my addiction.

IT's actually one of the worst jobs ever.

 

I see a lot of kids who enjoy games say "ah dawg I wanna be a video game tester" simply because they're told to make a career out of what they love. So being interested in it, that's not bad. But if you're truly passionate about video games and want an interesting career, try going into game development or design. But sometimes you need a line between hobbies and work--it's great to get a job doing what you love, but do you really want to turn what you love into work? It's something to consider. It might be more practical to reserve gaming as your hobby, what you do to unwind, than what you do to make a living.

I wish the testers on ACIII did a better job. I'm tired of my horse and Connor falling through the ground!

 

Maybe they just ignored what the testers had to say (that' s what sent FF XIV to its grave) and/or just didn' t run enough tests.
