"Thank god." Jesse smiled in relief.

 

The nurse smiled. "Did you want to see her...?" The nurse asked. We bandaged her up and everything, but she still hasn't woken up..."

 

"If that's alright." Jesse nodded. Eager to see just what had happened to her and if she was alright for himself.

 

"Alright... follow me..." The nurse said and led Jesse into the back room. Aya was laying on a bed in the room. She had bandages around her head from the massive headaches Rose gave her. Bandages were also visible down her aro a little and by her neck. Her whole chest had been bandaged up due to her broken ribs. Her chest gently rose and sunk and she breathed steadily, and her eyes were closed.

 

"So she's going to be alright?" He asked again. Once again biting his lip in worry.

 

The nurse nodded. "Yep... There's no need to worry..." she said. "And she should wake up some time within the next 24 hours or so..."

 

"That's good to know." He sighed.

 

The nurse walked out of the room.

A moment later, Aya's eyes slowly started to open.

 

"Aya?" Jesse asked cautiously as he stepped up to her.

 

Aya blinked, her eyes half-lidded. "Jesse...?" She opened her eyes all the way and saw that it was him. "Jesse! You're okay!" She exclaimed happily, but then winced.

 

"I'm fine." He smiled "And be careful, you got pretty badley beaten by her. Don't want you to hurt yourself more."

 

"Okay..." Aya said softly and let out a breath of air. She looked down at herself. She saw the bandages and sighed. "I guess I can't really take a hit, huh...?" She said and laughed a bit. She looked at Jesse. What happened to Rose, anyways...?" she asked.

 

"More then just a hit I think." Jesse laughed nervously "And Rose is gone, for now. She's back in Chelsea I expect."

"Yeah..." Aya said and smiled. She had been trying to lift the mood a bit, but it didn't seem to have worked very well. When she heard that the demon was probably in Chelsea, she sighed. "I feel bad for her..." She said. "She has to put up with it every day..."

 

"Yeah... I hope she get's free of her one day... It must be awful..."

 

Aya nodded. "Yeah..." She agreed.

Chealsea ran down the hallway towards the infirmary. You did what?! Chelsea asked Rose angrily. You had no right! Aya didn't do anything to you!! Quickly, Chelsea ran into the infirmary, panting. She went over to a nurse. "Excuse me, could you tell me where Aya is..?" she asked, breathless.

"Aya?" The nurse asked. "Oh! She's in the back room."

 

"Anyway, you just worry about yourself for now. Make sure you get better quickly. Alright?"

 

"Okay..." Aya said and smiled.

"Thank you..." Chelsea said and ran to the back room. She walked inside and her eyes widened when she saw how beat up she had gotten. "Aya..." She walked over to her. "Are you alright...?"

Aya looked up at Chelsea and smiled. "Yeah... I'm fine..." She said.

 

"Good." He smiled back as Chelsea entered the room. "What about you? You alright too? You collasped pretty suddenly."

 

"I'm fine..." Chelsea said to Jesse. "I'm pretty used to that, actually... It happens alot..." She said. "Listen, I came to say that I'm sorry for anything Rose may have done to hurt either of you..." She said.

"Why are you sorry...?" Aya asked. "It's not your fault for her getting out of control..." She smiled.

Chelsea smiled back. You're actually apologizing to them?! Stupid human... Rose said. Just shut up, would ya...? Chelsea said.
