Chain of Memories Vexen and Larxene English cutscene

Someone else is probably already ahead of me, but I've been playing nonstop and figured I might as well upload a bit. Cutscene with Vexen and Larxene, and the first Larxene fight in one video:

thanks for that! i think the voice actors for Larxene, Marluxia, and Vexen are perfect. but the thing with Sora and Riku, they are using their KH2 voices, i wonder why.

 

Probably because the actors for Sora and Riku can't talk as high pitched as they did in KH1 and not make it sound horrible. xD

 

Their Voices are perfect fits to me. Vexen lost that horrible Laughter I hope.

Wow. Axel and Vexen are exactly how I expected. (Was kinda weird to hear Axel say something else beside "You got me...")

Larxene was pretty good, but she didn't seem as enthusiastic in her attacks like her Japanese counterpart. It could be I'm just not used to her yet and need to hear more of her. :p

It's too bad they couldn't synch up the lip flaps. But since all the cutscenes are computer animated, nothing could be done.

I still pronounced it "Mar-LUX-ia" but I guess this other pronunciation makes it official, huh?

I'm looking forward to seeing how Derek Stephen Prince pulls off Vexen's laugh. :imslow:

Marlooshia sounds better as a name I reckon, but makes marluxia even more girlish lol

All the voices are great!! Axel's just as good as KH2, and Vexen and Larxene are just like I expected, now I wanna hear Zexion! XD

 

Hmm... I like the tone in Larxene's voice but... I like the Japanese one better a little bit in the childish side. Cause Larxene reminds me a of a pixie [xD] so I imagined her voice to be just a little. I like her voice in the battle scene for some reason though~

 

I saw that cutscene yesterday. It was pretty good, but it sucks that they can't fix the mouths of the characters to match the sounds of the voices.

 

Axel sounds different, and thats the only gripe I have.
Vexen is perfect... Larxene could've been cooler if Shannon Chan-Kent voiced her, but Im not complaining.

Axel seems a little different from his KH2 voice, Quinton Flynn made him just as good or even better than his KH2 voice.

 

Hm... Axel's tone seems more formal in here than in KHII. Also, when he said "Goodbye" in Vexen's death scene, he sounded like an AOL thing.xD

 

Seems to me this may be how Axel acts before he met Roxas or when Roxas not around....just a thought.
