Birth by Sleep ven and sora ending [SPOILER]

well, I recently saw this ending and I was wondering why ven asked sora if he could rest in him "again". why again? ventus is like a part of sora?

 

Have you seen the intro? Ven is talking to newborn Sora's heart.

 

If Ven was talking to Sora's newborn heart, then wouldn't Ven and Sora's hearts have been connected allt he time?
Or when did they become unconnected?
I kinda thought.... The reason why Ven's heart was broken in the beginning was cause Vanitas was removed from him right? So...
Someone please explain. i don't get it.

 

Vanitas being created left Ven's heart nearly destroyed. For an as of yet to be explained reason, Sora's newborn heart was able to make contact with Ven's heart at his f***ed up station of awakening. Sora agreed to connect their hearts so that Ven could be whole again. This is why, when Ven's heart left his body after the last battle with Vanitas, it came to Sora who let Ven's heart sleep inside his own.

 

That explains why Roxas looks like Ven, because when Sora's heart was released, Ven's heart was released as well, and Ven's heart became Sora's no body, Roxas. It also explains how Roxas has a heart, despite him being a no body, or so as i understand it.
