Well right now I have made 3 AMV's with Windows Movie Maker. And I was thinking of getting Vegas movie studio So I was wondering is this the program most people to use to make AMV's,trailers ect.? So just wondering like what effects does it have if you would recomend it and is it worth the price. Cuz I'm thinking of buying it so please give me your thoughts ect.
I use movie maker for all of my AMV's too, and I really don't mind it that much... except when it decides to freeze up for absolutely no reason. >.> I have Vegas, but I haven't had much of a chance to use it. It does have a lot more effects though, and it is for more advanced video editors, but I've heard that once you get it down, it's pretty easy to use. Another program that a lot of people use it Adobe Premiere. I've heard that it's very similar to Sony Vegas when it comes to the layout and the quality of editing it can do. A program I've used before, not for making AMV's, is Adobe Final Cut Pro. It's a much more expensive program, but it's top of the line, and more advanced than Sony Vegas. I guess it's up to you and what you want to do. If your just into making AMV's, I'd say go for Vegas or Premiere. Hope that helps your choice. ^^

Yes both do. I would personally go for Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0. It's cheaper than Vegas and just as good.
