    maaaaybe xD

Well, if/when I can, I might try to fit my Keyblade Wielder in somewhere... so perhaps we can work together on that.
Also, themes for characters. This is a genius idea. I'm gonna go look for some themes right now!

Also, I noticed a complaint about me being godmoddy... can I just say... that it isn't my fault, it's the fault of whoever made Sephiroth. Believe me, I should know, he did it to me once(In RP and gameplay).
    Therefore...
    ALL HAIL SEPHIROTH *shot*

Sorry I haven't been posting. I went camping for the weekend and literally just got back.

You still shouldn't godmod. It doesn't matter how "powerful" the character is in the games. It still isn't really fair.

I really don't want to post until the godmoddy stuff is fixed. It's a pet peeve of mine, I'll be honest.

Well if it happens again I'll either give the character to someone else, or just ban the character for being "overpowered" and kill Sephiroth off afterwards.

You're stating the obvious. The problem isn't how OP Sephiroth is, it's the fact the person playing as him is abusing Sephiroth's BA-ness like a "Get Out of Jail Free" card. There are rules... like... players can't godmod, powerplay, and metagame. GMs can generally get around this because, well, it's usually a plot-driven technique. However, players as a whole can't. So when playing as Sephiroth, or anyone that is OP to the max, you still have to play by the rules (though I'm sure with GM-permission you can bend them).

So the issue isn't Sephiroth's OP-capabilities, but rather it's the fact that people can't react to the hits or anything. It's vexing and unfair, usually. How would you like it if someone said you've been cut up into ten-thousand slabs of meat? You never had a chance to guard, dodge, parry, counter, or anything. The character you took your time to make died in a single post. The sportsmanship is then soured by foul play. Get it?

So...,what? Should I let Aragorns keep the character or just give it to someone else? Because this needs to be solved.

Oh wow... erm... what? How the heck could this cause that many problems again? Sometimes I fail to see the problem.
One of those times is now.
If you think like I do, then that's no where near godmodding... infact, allow me to explain my own point of view.
First off: I never said that he'd deffinately landed blows, I merely pointed out what would usually happen... you know... in-game... and novels... and generally everything else Sephiroth is in...
You could've still said he'd blocked them, but I suppose I'm the only one with that RPing style... which sucks, really.
Secondly: If you know Kingdom Hearts(and everything else by Sqaure Enix and some others), then you know that someone landing 6 blows is baby stuff compared to what usually happens. I'm serious, people get stabbed all the time in these things and they still stay alive. Take Cloud for example. In Crisis Core, he was stabbed by Sephiroth, did he die? Am I completely sane? No. He used the sword as a lever and flipped Sephiroth into a pool of lifestream. My point? That is not godmodding at all compared to what usually happens in the world of random craziness. People get blown up by grenades, cut up by swords, smashed by hammers - and that's just the weekend for these people.
Thirdly: You think I'm talking from the point of view of someone using Sephiroth? I'm talking from the point of view of someone who's been on the recieving end, too. My guy got stabbed more than 6 times... I think it was something like 17 times... by Sephiroth. Guess what? He lived. Why? Because, as I said, that's just the weekend for these people. Sure, he sent an apology saying "I didn't mean to kill him" etc, etc... then I told him he didn't kill him, I just... how do I put this? I winged it. I really didn't care, infact, I was glad Sephiroth had beat someone in that fight, because it was more... canonical.
Finally: I don't mean to start an arguement, I just mean to share my own opinion, my own point of view, my logic which is always different from everyone elses. That is the end of this post. If you don't agree with me, then you can say "Ouch" or "Ban" or whatever you want.

.... I've probably just gone and got myself banned, havn't I?

    1) You need to learn to clarify in your posts... also, you need to stop jumping around and doing more than one action at a time. Seriously, if you do one thing and move onto the next before someone can react, it is definitely godmoddy and powerplaying. It will imply the blows have landed and that the other players can do nothing but prepare for the second assault. This will eventually become a big problem with everyone else.

    2) So what? Those aren't Roleplays. Roleplaying isn't a one-person gig (unless it's an RPG, but that's beside the point). You're not the GM and Sephiroth isn't above the rules. I don't really care how your receiving end is. If I remember right, in KH and KHII, Sora could react to his attacks (granted, a lot of practice and dexterity was needed). Just because he can do all those frilly attacks doesn't mean he should. Since you're a player, and not a GM (the person who runs a (or, in this case, "the") roleplay), you need to show restraint. If you want, I can give you a textbook definition of godmodding, powerplaying, and metagaming.

    3) No, I'm talking about in general. I can really care less if you were on the receiving end. What I highly dislike is when normal players abuse the powers of a character, regardless. Canonical... just because something is canon doesn't really give you a "stab-stab-stabbity-stab-stab/teleport/slash-slash-slashy-slashy-slash" Card (also known as "Get Out of Jail Free" Card in Sephiroth speak). Not to mention, you have to think: is everyone like you? Do we all think the same way? No. We are not alike, and so everyone does something different. Granted, this can end my argument faster than a shamed samurai. In the end, everyone needs to show restraint. It's for the good of the game.

    4) I'm gonna be terrifyingly honest... your argument had no true basis. The logic wasn't even relative. In the end, you didn't seem to put up much of an argument at all.

If you keep doing what you're doing, I'll have no choice but recommend Xero to ban the use of Sephiroth. I would play him myself, but this argument kinda made realize I'd be too tempted by the power of Sephiroth's OPness. I mean... c'mon... how often can one use Meteor?

Ok... well... I have never actually met anyone who's had this much of a problem with, well, erm... this.
SO! For the sake of everyone else here, I bid you, good day!
Unless someone has any better ideas?

Im just going to solve this now and simply ban certain characters including Sephiroth.

    So there, problem solved.

I'll put a list of banned characters in a minute, I'm at school.

Unless we can all agree to share the character as a temporary usage. Then I'll reconsider banning him.
