Vector to the Heavens

Gexln's eyes widened in shock. What kind of weapon is that?! he thought frantically. He gritted his teeth as he attempted to block it with his blade. He felt the searing heat rushing past his face, and the strain of blocking the spell, but he did successfully do it, sweat dripping from his brow. He panted slightly, a little tired from the effort, before grinning confidently. "That all?" he taunted.

 

Yuffie jumped above Leon and caught the shuriken, "Sorry about that Squall!" She then began to run towards Xero at full speed with another knife in hand. She then jumped in the air once more, threw the knife and came down with a drop kick as well.

"See ya! She called out. Xero looked up and deflected the knife again but it was only a distraction and Yuffie slammed the back of her heel in her head. Xero felt paralyzed for a split second from the pain of being kicked in the head.

When Yuffie landed she turned around swiftly and tried giving Xero a roundhouse kick but Xero used the hilt of her scythe to block it and stuck the end of the scythe in the ground and used it for support to kick Yuffie in the stomach.

Yuffie stumbled backwards and Xero took the opening and slash at Yuffie but she recovered before she could land the attack and jumped out of the way. Xero's blade slammed into the ground and stuck there.

"Dammit! This is just got my day!" She said as she tried pulling the scythe out of the ground.

 

"becareful the heartless is stronger than you think. He can rip you into
Pieces." Nexus said. Barley able to stand through all the major injuries Atomna inflicted on him. "Please don't let the heartless escape With the weapon, it can cause imbalance throughout the worlds dimension" Then Nexus fainted.

 

Xalice actually laughed when Fleetfoot knocked her to her ground. She pet Fleetfoot as she listened to Xena. As she back flipped if the rooftop she said to herself "You haven't changed Xena, I could fight to." She looked at Fleetfoot "She always treats me like a younger sister doesn't she." She then yelled to Xena "Be careful Xena" but she knew Xena would win easily she wouldn't leave Xalice alone, now that she found her.

 

Xena rolled her eyes, "Please, I have plenty of speed and power. You just know how to get your ass kicked. Don't worry about it escaping, I have plenty of ways to get what I want." She stretched out her fingers so the claws were ready for combat. The darkness took over her again to form the fox. "Just stay there and be a good little boy." Fleetfoot appeared next to her and his tail unzipped, ready for battle.

 

Nexus was sounds asleep unaware that this mystery person rescued him. Nexus doesn't understood why he was still alive after putting through all that damage by atomna. His life is hanging by a thread. Then he noticed something, "a normal heartless couldn't just put me through all that damage, even if I didn't have a neon blade, I could have still killed it like nothing". Then it hit him, those two heartlesses are not the average "Run of the mill" heartless. They are of a higher ranking class enemy. Probably a "B" class or a "A" class. Every heartless in the realm if darkness are defied by their class. There are the "E" class the weakest ones. The "D" class, the "C" class, the "B" class, the "A" class, the S class, the super S (SS) class, and the Suprem Super S (SSS) class watching in the deepest relm. The Highest class the organization has ever met is the "lower A" class heartless.

 

Leon was indifferent to Gexln's taunt, but when Yuffie called him Squall, he felt annoyed. "It's Leon!" He reminded her, as he himself charged towards Gexln, his blade running along the ground, sparks flying. "I don't know who you are," Leon said as he charged. "But you Nobodies have no place here!" As he got closer, he performed a powerful uppercut, threatening to cut the Nobody diagonally in half.

 

"Something you have to understand about me..." Gexln started. He readied his blade. "Is i'm no ordinary Nobody" he finished. The blow was too much for him to handle, however, and Darkness' Sorrow flew out of Gexln's hands and back away from him. He watched Leon's eyes, looking for a sign of doubt. There was no other option, he would have to fight unarmed, there was too much of a risk to go grab his blade at that time.

 

In Leon's eyes, Gexln will see no doubt, no fear. Only determination and pride. It was the piercing gaze of a lion, predatory and, above all, courageous. He had everything to lose, but his confidence would deter even the greatest of predators. Leon was determined to win. There was no time to doubt. Nobodies have always been a great threat, for they were far more dangerous than the berserk Heartless. They had intelligence and cunning... and Leon was doubly careful of this enemy, even if he disarmed Gexln. The man side-stepped Gexln, swinging his gunblade horizontally.

 

Gexln quickly threw himself to the ground in an attempt to avoid the gunblade. The movement was successful, the blade barely missing the top of Gexln's skull. From the ground, Gexln rolled over onto his back, then quickly rolled backwards and immediately released a dark firaga towards Leon as he stood up straight.

 

Xero looked over at Gexln and Leon as Yuffie was running towards her. Her scythe was stuck into the ground and would not move. Yuffie was closing in now and Xero quickly looked around heasatent. She then saw Gexln's weapon on the ground that was just out of reach. She looked at Yuffie again and swiftly ran to the Darkness' Sorrow. It was a risky move but Xero managed to pick up the weapon just in time to parry with Yuffie's knives with Gexln's weapon.

"Why won't you Nobodies just stay dead?' Yuffie called out as she pushed away from Xero, using the sword to push off. Yuffie then threw another one of her giant shurikens at Xero, but just as she was about to jump out of the way the edge of the shuriken landed in the ground with the cloth of Xero's coat stuck under it. Causeing her to tumble downwards and hit the ground.

This caused Xero to drop Gexln's weapon and it slid completely out of her reach and unarmed. She looked over at Yuffie once more and she was charging towards her with her knives again and with another giant shuriken.

"What now...?!"

The darkness Xero... use it. Let it consume you, and then you can defeat these fools...

"NO!" Xero shouted and darkness immediatly surrounded her as she did. Yuffie came to a halt and just stared at Xero in awe, "What the-?!" The shuriken that was holding Xero down was now in her hands covered in darkness. Xero's eyes weren't hers. They were orange and friegtning like some sort of monster's. Xehanort's guardian was also behind her too.

"I suppose you'll be wanting this back!" Xero threw the shuriken at Yuffie and the darkness around the weapon began to glow. Yuffie tried to jump out of the way but the blade of the shuriken had gashed her side and it sent her falling to the ground.

"Agh!"

Leon cursed under his breath as he missed Gexln, but moved back a step as he expected a counter. However, Gexln managed to do Leon one better: he put more distance between them. Leon squinted his eyes as he saw the counter and knew the Nobody had erred. Leon brought his weapon up to block, for it was his only option since there wasn't much distance for him to try to dodge the dark-infused fireball, and accepted the blow. He was grateful that his weapon kept him from certain doom, and as he slid back some more from the force, Leon swung his weapon to be rid of the resulting veil. "One last chance to just walk--" Leon was interrupted as he heard Yuffie cry out. His head turned to look, and in the back of his head he knew it was a foolish move... but his friend needed his attention.

"Yuffie!" He exclaimed, breaking into a run towards her. Leon spared a glance to Xero, and his eyes widened. And then, as the surprise began to vanish as swiftly as it appeared, hate and rage crept in. Leon slid in front of Yuffie, his gunblade positioned defensively in front of him and Yuffie. However, he forgot about Gex...

 

Gilgamesh saw this move coming. "Predictable." He muttered, as he reached into his portal and drew out a shield and used it to block the incoming attack. After that, he threw it at Uramax Captian-America style. Then he opened the portal again, and drew a sword from it, the sword was majestic... and it seemed to carry power with it. "This is Gram, the sword of the sun wielded by Sigurd. He was supposed to be the greatest hero in Northern Europe... he was nothing more than another mongrel." Instead of throwing it, he lunged at Uramax with it, whilst a volley of weapons followed behind him.


Meanwhile, with Leon, Yuffie, Xero, Gexln and any other's present... a black feather floated down infront of Xero-Xehanort. "So, you live." A voice rang out. Behind them, holding his sword out towards the Nobodies, was none other than Sephiroth himself. "Perhaps... I should finish you all now..." He turned his attention to Leon and Yuffie. "Whilst you are still weak."

Sephiroth teleports behind Gexln and knocks him into the air with his sword, he does the same to Leon. Then he strikes them multiple times, always teleporting after he's landed five or six blows and starting a new spree of strikes.​

 

OOC: Dude, that's kinda godmoddy. The fact you teleport than have that guaranteed five or six hits...yeah...
BiC: Gexln cringed in pain as he landed on the ground, he had been completely caught off-guard by Sephiroth. He was in a crossfire of sorts, not sure whether to still target Leon or Sephiroth. He made his choice. Leaping over to Darkness' Sorrow, he scooped up the blade and turned to face Sephiroth. "I, am NEVER weak" he said coldly.

 

Xero snapped out of her trance of darkness and came to her senses. She saw that Leon and Gexln take multiple hits in seconds. Her eyes widened as Gexln landed on the ground in pain.
"GEXLN!" She shouted almost at the top of her lungs. When Gexln got up and challenged Sephiroth, she ran towards him, "Gexln! Are you CRAZY?!"

 

Gexln had Darkness' Sorrow pointed at Sephiroth, ready to attack at a moment's notice. "Crazy? No. Incredibly stupid, possibly. But believe me when i say, i'm going to kick this guy's ass" Gexln said, deadly determined.

 

"Do you even know what you're doing?! That's SEPHIROTH you're dealing with! You won't stand a chance! Let's just get away while we can!" Xero said to Gexln as she panicked.

 

Gexln spun Darkness' Sorrow around, experimenting with the balance of his blade. "Doesn't matter who it is, he's dying today" he said grimly.

 

Xero finally gave up, knowing how stubborn Gexln is, she knew she wouldn't get through his thick empty skull. "Fine, but I'm going to the castle." She said as she ran past him towards the castle. She turned back to Gexln, "You better not die Gexln..." She said. She knew Gexln was probably strong enough to hold off Sephiroth... but not probably not strong enough to defeat him.

Roxella looked at the drawings closely. She saw a red headed man and a golden brown haired boy standing next to each other.

"Who are these two?" She looked over at Kaxar asking if she knew the two.
