I used paths, a bit of brushing, and a few filters.
    CnC?

    That's not vectoring. That's brushes. =/

Anyway, it looks pretty good. :) You're getting really good. :)

Uuuh I think The_Burger_King knows better than we do if he used vector paths or not, we wern't there to witness. He did say he used brushes too, anyway.

I like the simplicity in this signature a lot! It works very well here :D

Actually Aqua, Darky's right, that's not pure vectoring...

That's more like brush-filter, with a few lines thrown in...:/

I meant the red squiggle lines! The red lines are the vector paths! When Burger King said he used paths, I figured he used the pen tool to create the vector path. And normally in Photoshop there's a function to have your vector path outlined - and the results looks something similar to the red lines there.

I can't be certain if those are the said vector paths itself because I didn't make the graphic - but if he said he used paths, then he used paths! Let's have Burger King explain what he did! >_>

Aquarius, not to be mean or anything, but I thing you need to get something straight. This style IS NOT VECTOR. Just becuase he used a few vector tecniques does not make the sig strictly vector.

Like my skateboard siggy? Every single thing in that was made using vectoring, except for the colors. By changing the colors, I made the sig no longer vector. Just like BK has made his sig no longer vector by brushing and stroking and using filters and blah blah blah.

    Oh...................................................................................................
I guess this is not vector.....
    Wow i'm a newb.
    But....uh.....
How do you make a vector sig then......? =/

    It's not pure vectoring.

I meant he didn't literally take out his pen tool or shape tool and make vector shapes.

    He used brushes. xD

Okay let's get this one thing straight. Photoshop is a bitmap program. Meaning it CANNOT make vector images strictly vector when you're zooming in on them. HOWEVER, because of this, the bitmap setting (using pixels) makes them more like vexels. Vexels are like vector x pixel. Meaning you can resize the shape itself, but zooming in on that image will distort the appearance. =/

What TBK used was just path's. Brushing DOES NOT mean it is vectoring. Brushing is just pixelated shapes made FOR the bitmap. Whereas vexels used in PS are used to rescale infinitly.

    Always nice to contribute. ;)

    wow darky, so mean :p

but they are right, that's totally not vector. if anything, the designs in the background, not the lines, look more abstract than anything else. i think if you brush on the sides and cover up those blank spots using the same brushes, it could pass as a good abstract siggy.

Dude (Cin)! I never said that his ENTIRE STYLE was based on vectors. Never. You totally misunderstood the concept: I was only quoting what Burger_King said himself: "I used paths, a bit of brushing, and a few filters" You said that the entire thing was brushes, and I, following Burger_King's word, also thought the sig was based on brushes BUT I ALSO thought it included paths because he stated he included paths. I was only defending the path part (which was wrong anyway since apparently there aren't) because you thought there wasn't any of it, and I thought there was a bit of it - but I never meant to say that the entire sig was fully vectorial. Clear?

And as for Darky, thanks for the detailed information lol >_< I kinda already knew some of that, but you did clearify the business with using paths and applying brushing as an outline... *sighs in defeat then cowers* Gwah, that's the last time I ever try to defend a work that I didn't even make! *cries*

Could we stop commenting on the sig and comment on it.....?
    wtf?
Anyways, That means that Xehsin's tut isnt vector either....
    That's brushing >.>

Lol it says brushing because it makes it simpler to explain. ;)

Anyway, I think i already commented...but like...it's good. Just add more splatter on top as well as maybe some straight edge pen tool on top as well. ;)
