So uh...yeah. Please give constructive criticism on my free verse that may or may not seem like any kind of verse. I was just inspired when I wrote these, so I wrote them. And here they are. All of them untitled.


There's a funny thing
About "I love you."
You never know
That you mean it
Until you really, genuinely, do
And suddenly
I know that I mean it.
I love you.
And that's a fact.




Sleep and be hopeful
For the day that we meet
Will be no normal day
I'll look in your eyes
See the smile on your face
The one happy tear
That rolls down your cheek
Even before our first kiss
My first kiss
It will already have been
Worth
The
Wait






Free your mind
Write the song
Embrace the new
Remember the old
This is now
That was then
All that matters now
Are you, your memories, and I






I see your picture
It makes me smile
To know that you're somewhere
You're real
It's so magical
What I'm feeling right now
You're a million miles away
And I'm lost in you

 

Heh that's too romantic for me.
