Birth by Sleep Vanitas' Identity

What if Vanitas turns out to be Sora's Dad/Brother? Wouldn't that be a real kick in the pants? The Current Incarnation of the Protector of Light is descended from/Related to the greatest incarnation of Darkness in the past century?

 

I highly doubt that. Tetsuya confirmed that they are not related but they are in fact connected. No them in general but everyone in the game

hmm, I thought Xemnas made Xion... oh well, anyway, I don't think so. If Xion's body was Vanitas' body then wouldn't Xion keep Vanitas' face and body shape(muscly)? lol, I don't know..

I think Vanitas is Riku's brother or maybe father.
I mean look at the similiar battle-stance and the clothes.
Anyway he has some sort of connection to Riku, that's for sure.

 

i don't think its a family connection. the connection to riku i believe is that he is a replica or a puppet or something that was made (possibly to duplicate vens power... just saying just saying) i don't think there is a direct connection

 

We know that Vanitas definitely has an identity we know of. I wouldn't say Xion because I just can't imagine Vanitas with a girlish face, perhaps a more boyish looking Xion? That would be pretty unexpected imo.
As far as Xehanort goes, I think it's most likely Terra who becomes Xehanort. Yeah it may seem too obvious but I don't know why else Terra's eyes would match Xehanort's at the end of the IIFM+ vid. If Terra's a decoy, then he's one hell of a decoy, everything just seems to point towards Terra being Xehanort.
perhaps Nomura is making it obvious so we doubt it? and start to think it isn't true? We wouldn't expect such a plot twist to be revealed in the trailers but hey, that could be the case.
I think it is possible that Vanitas looks like Xehenort, hell he could still look like Xehenort and Terra could still become the actual Xehenort we know.

So imo, he looks like Xehenort or a boyish Xion.

Hell guys I don't think Vanitas is going to look like Xion... But since they don't reveal his entire face he VERY LIKELY will look like a character we've already seen...
Why else would they hide his face like that?
In the most recent trailer It looks like he Defeated aqua after the long battle in the kh2fm secret video... (there's a small clip with Aqua lying on the ground and vanitas looks like he's about to stab her unconscious body towards the end of the trailer.)

Maybe not exactly like (I don't see how Sora's spiky hair could fit in that round helmet...) But he probably looks a lot like Sora. Sora does have a lot of people that look like him already doesn't he? Why not add to the list? lol

As far as Master Xehanort = Xehanort and Terra = Xehanort is concerned... I still believe my very old theory that MX possesses Terra's body to become Xehanort.
I mean think about it he does the SAME THING to Riku doesn't he? He controls Riku's body with his soul... If this is the game thats going to be coming out before KH3 I think that the soul & possession has to be involved in some way. Maybe Terra becomes one of the "lost souls" Ansem mentions at the end of the newest trailer after he is possesed.

Yes it was. Keyblades can be both Light or dark and don't care if the holder is good or evil. Furthering the belief that dark isn't necessarily evil and light isn't always good.

I think MX is Xehanort's heartless.
He lost his body (or rather Terra's) before the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 1 (when he was wearing the brown cloak) then he possesed Riku and then somehow managed to reaquire Terra's body after Riku-Xehanort was defeated.
How he did this however I am unsure...

 

So did that happen in khfm when that blue spirit like exploded from Xemnas' chest after Sora defeated him?

That thing after Xemnas's defeat wasnt anything significant to the plotline i dont think... (Basically it was just there to show how powerful Xemnas is and how he brushed off the damage he had taken like it was practically nothing. Xemnas is awesome like that lol)

That may not be Terra entirely...
And to be perfectly honest I cant provide a solid answer to that.

Terra and MX are both Xehanort in a way...
I think Master Xehanort somehow possesed Terra and when he did this his original body basically became lifeless. Master Xehanorts soul inside Terra's body is what I believe to be the Xehanort that becomes Ansem's apprentice.
Terras soul may have been kicked out when Master Xehanorts took over and it could have wandered its way into his Armor which would explain the "Lingering Sentiment." Braig may have also done something when he captured MX to try to obtain the power of the Keyblade by changing his own physical form to MX's or by taking control of MX's body after it becomes lifeless. I consider this possibility because I saw a video series that made me realize that Xigbar looks EXTREMELY Similar to Master Xehanort.

 

I dunno but I think it's Terra Vantias has Yellow eyes amd Terra's eyes turned Yellow in what I think was the secret ending in final mix. And everyone is telling Terra to embrace the darkness...

 

WHAT!? How could Vanitas be Terra?

1. Terra fights Vanitas along with MX

2. Idk if u noticed but Vanitas is pretty short.

3. In the newest trailer Vanitas' hair is black.
