BIC: Jinx let her glamor drop and looked at herself in the mirror, a furious face with blood on her lips looked back. She sighed and cleaned herself off before going back to the room where she sat next to the window and just looked out, watching the sleeping town and waiting for the morning.

 

Hannah laid next to Edward, her eyes starting to tear. She made sure he hair stayed over her shoulder and ignored Jinx the best she could. "I don't think I'll be able to sleep." She lied. Being next to Edward was comfortable, and after what had happened, sleep was a nice sanctuary.

BIC: Jinx leaned on the window's frame, watching the stars and trying to find constalations.

 

"That's fine," Edward muttered, resting his cheek on the back of her head and putting an arm around her waist. "My eyes don't want to stay open, though... sorry if I drift off..."

 

Hannah smiled. "I don't mind." She said, though her thoughts were starting to go back to what had happened.

 

"Is everything alright?" Edward asked, unable to help himself from asking. He could tell from the troubled vibes in her mind that something had happened.

 

"Yeah... Yeah, I'm fine." Hannah replied. I hope that girl is too.... God, I must've scared the sh*t out of her....

 

Even though Edward was still asleep, he still heard her thought. "What girl, Hannah?" he asked quietly.

 

^ ^ ^ "yes, i know im cooler than van helsing in real life..."

 

"No one." Hannah murmured. "You need your rest."

 

"Fine," Edward muttered, yawning. "But promise me you'll tell me later... and," he lowered his voice to such a low whisper that he had to put his lips to her ear for her to hear him, "if you don't want anyone else to hear, you can always tell me with your thoughts."

Hannah's cheeks turned pink, but she kept herself level. "I promise." She rolled over to look at him, and studied his face, lingering on his eyes. "But I'm sure you won't like it."

 

"Something tells me that I'm not going to like a lot of things you will tell me," Edward began, smiling in the dark because he knew she could see him. "But I can live with that if you promise me something."

 

^ ^ ^ "You know, I might play the vampire HUNTER... but I'd be really HOT as an immortal beast of the devil.... hmmmm..."

 

Hannah's smile faded. "What would that be?" Promises were a hard thing to keep, let alone for as long as she'd be around. Simple ones were fine, but she had a feeling it wouldn't be simple.

 

"It's not complicated," Edward whispered, still holding her gaze. "But it is a little... embarrassing, and I wouldn't want to bother or worry you at all..."

 

^ ^ ^ "Yes, I can even be King Leopold... and STILL be smexy!"

 

Hannah managed a smile for Edward. "It's fine. What did you want to say?"
