Van Helsing

Jinx nodded, "Ah, I see. Well, some vampires got pulled into this mess with Dracula, so, they're here." she answered.

 

Oh. He looked down and poked the dirt under his toe.

 

Jinx tapped her fingers on her arm, "So, are we going to Rome or not?" she asked the others.

 

Exel jumpeed onto a spare horse and layed back on it. Just tag me along when we get going. I'm tired.

 

Jinx laughed queitly. "Sure." she shook her head. Everyone is so skepical of him. Where is the trust in the world?

 

Exel's ears moved up and down on teh side of his head listening to the others.

 

"First of all," said Van Helsing, turning his horse to face Exel. "I do not trust you. I don't know a thing about you and you still haven't told me what good you would be fighting Dracula. I have no proof you haven't killed any innocents, so that's another negative point toward you. And yes..." he added, sighing and looking at Jinx. "We are going to Rome, and if this man insists on coming, so be it. But be warned that if I see anything I don't like I will shoot you."

OOC: Exel, there are no spare horses... just two... lol

 

Edward sighed, listening to Van Helsing as well as Hannah's new revelance to another lie she had told. "Look..." he whispered. "If you want to continue lying, fine. But if you won't let me know the truth, how am I supposed to trust you?" She opened her mouth to reply, but he cut her off gently: "I can't. That's the bottom line... now you've got to tell me whatever you know whenever you want because then I can keep you safe. For now, it's hard to believe everything I know, you understand?"

 

"You'll shoot me?!" Jinx asked, staring at Van Helsing in shock. "Why do you keep threatening to kill me? I've never hurt anyone and i've never lied to you. By the Gods, why do you expect me to be nice to you when at every turn you want to murder me?" she glowered at him.

 

"Not you, woman!" Van Helsing sighed, losing his patience. "That one!" he pointed at Exel. "I haven't seen you, Miss Jinx, kill, even though I'm sure you have at one point, but... let's go now or all of you can stay here!"

 

"Grouchy, isn't he?" Edward muttered to Hannah as they started to move, and she giggled quietly.

Jinx stared calmly back at Van Helsing, her eyes burning a little, "Oh, shut up." she snapped, "I am sooo sorry I confused your threatening some else when you're talking to me. I guess I've just got used to being accused and threatened by you every time I turn around. Of course, that is MY fault." she said, very sarcasticly. "Van Helsing, if you have a problem with people, maybe you could tell them more politely than a death threat. And I mean that for everyone one of us you have threatened to kill, here."

OOC: *In a sexy, black woman attitude* You tell 'em, girl! *finger z snap* LOL

BIC: "I apologize," Van Helsing said after a moment. "But, you see, if it was just me right now I would have already gotten to Rome and been half way back with all these dramatics! I don't mean to threaten that much, but..." he faded off.

 

"It's fine," Edward picked up. "Just lead the way to Rome, alright?"

BIC:Jinx looked away from him, finally. "I dont' know if I forgive you yet, sorry... but thanks for the apology." she sighed. "Why are you even staying with us anyway. I don't mean that to say it's not good to have you around. i'm just wondering. I mean you don't need us, and we don't really need you, why stay around with us?"

OOC: aw, well it's getting late and tomorrow is going to be... well not a great or short day. so i'll say good night. 'NIGHT!

BIC: Van Helsing laughed lightly. "Actually, you all are staying with me. Because you need my help to kill Dracula, and we all have that common interest."

 

"He's right," Edward spoke, and Hannah nodded.

BIC: Okay then. He shrugged and stratched his ears watching them.

 

"I really do want to tell you things, Edward." Hannah said, sobering once they started riding. "I just don't know how to say it."

 

Life would be so much easier on my own... once we get to Rome, Carl and I can figure things out

"I guess I can understand that," Edward replied. "But at the same time, it's hard being left in the dark, you know?"
