Van Helsing

"I know everything about you... Now, why do you think you're here?"

 

"Whatever it is, I won't take part in it." Hannah seethed, clenching her fists.

 

"But you already know why. Didn't my brides show they know as well?"

 

Hannah glanced over at Aleera, who was glaring at her, and Verona, who was trying to control her weeping. She looked back at Dracula. "Yes, I know. I won't let you either. I'm already a monster, I won't belong to you."

 

OOC: Wow. I'm in a verge of leaving cause of teh sudden happenings. O_O

BIC: The wolf whined and looked around to eat something.

 

Hannah moved to slap Dracula, but Aleera caught her hand.

Aleera dug her nails into Hannah's wrist. "Don't dare try that again."

 

Jinx looked from one to the other, looking almost amused at their argument. "For Hannah? Alright." she shrugged and smelled the air for a second. "That way." she pointed into the forest. "Dracula's castle isn't too far off in that direction... maybe five to... oh ten at the most miles, we can make it if you guys take the horses." she suddenly turned her gaze back on Van Helsing. "But before we go, you just listen to me. I haven't forgotten you accusing me. I havent' forgotten you threatening to kill me in cold blood. And I haven't forgiven you. Not that you care, I suppose, but I thought you should know." she turned on her heel and walked to the end of the clearing. "Come on, then."

BIC: "Fair enough," Van Helsing shrugged, and mounted Lexi, holding out a hand to help Edward up. "You can let the ladies ride on their own," he said, and Edward scowled, but sat behind Van Helsing anyway.

"She really doesn't like me," Van Helsing muttered to Edward as they rode.

"Come now," Dracula muttered, shaking his head at Aleera as she released Hannah. "Let the young one talk... she knows why she's here, but I'd like to hear what she thinks."

 

Hannah pulled her wrist close to her. She kept her eyes on Aleera as she felt the inside of her wrist. Dammit.... She drew blood. She glared at Aleera, gripping her wrist to stop the blood from dripping.

Aleera just smirked, licking the bit of blood on her fingers.

Hannah looked back at Dracula. "I'll never sink to your level."

 

OOC: Donde esta Boobra??

BIC: "Sink?" Dracula repeated. "I am an immortal, powerful, unstoppable monster! And you expect to sink toward me?!" His voice rang to a shout around the stone walls, and Verona and Aleera shrank back, frightened. "There is no sinking involved, my dear," he continued, a little calmer now. "You'll come to realize that when your friends get here.

 

"Yes," Edward replied, not smiling. "It would be best if you didn't threaten their lives every time you need their help. I mean... you don't plan to kill me as well by the end of it... do you?"

 

Hannah felt fear race through her; she could not pretend that she wasn't afraid of Dracula. "They won't come. Why would Van Helsing, someone who intends to kill me, come to 'save' me?" Her fear increased when the blood from her wrist seeped through her fingers, making tiny droplets on the floor. She instinctively gripped her wrist tighter.

 

"Have you ever killed any innocent people, Edward?" Van Helsing asked. Edward shook his head. "Then I shall not hurt you unless you do so sometime in the future."

"There's more than Van Helsing coming, though... isn't there?"

 

"I see..." Edward spoke. "What do you even plan to do when you get there?"

 

"What do you care?" Hannah asked snidely, loosening the hold on her wrist a bit.

 

"Just trying to figure out how hungry I am..."

'What do I plan to do?" Van Helsing repeated with a cynical smile. "Well... we shall kill the rest of the brides, get Hannah out of there, and finish Dracula. That's it."

 

Hannah's heart skipped a beat. "I won't let you harm them." She said forcefully, recovering.

"But we won't let you get in the way." Aleera said, moving closer with Verona.
