BIC: "It's a good thing I put you on a horse with the farm girl, huh?" Van Hesling smirked as Edward walked back to Sorin. Edward said nothing in reply.

He had to know eventually, he tried to convince himself mentally. The question of the boy's death was going to hang their forever and drive me insane! I had to say something...

 

OOC: heck, i'm doing the brides and hannah XD you make things complicated

BIC: Hannah looked at Jinx for a moment. I'm sure she enjoyed that. She looked back at Van Helsing. "You want to continue now or later?"

 

MEANHILE IN DRACULA LAND...

Dracula thought about what Marishka, Aleera, and Verona had told him.

"I really don't think you ladies understand," Dracula began, pacing the stone floor. Each bride he tried to look directly at suddenly had terror in their eyes and looked down. He smiled at the reaction. "I want Rose to do what I say when I say it," he continued. His eyes flared red, and the three stepped back. "If she does otherwise, like talking with anyone I don't want her to..." His voice rose to a scream and the brides cried out and backed away, pushing each other in front to face the man now enraged in their presence. "Kill all those with her!" he whispered strongly now, folding his hands in a prayer-like fashion under his chin. "NOW!" he shrieked, and then brides transformed and flew out the nearest window.

OOC: youre supposed to do the brides and hannah you wierdo!!

 

OOC: holy crap! lol I ish doing it! *~*

BIC: Hannah rubbed her head. "Are there any rivers we'll have to cross?"

"Take care of the stranger!" Verona told Marshika, and she nodded in understanding.. "I will get the werewolf."

"I'll take care of our master's new prize." Aleera cackled. "We must not fail this time."

"Do you hate me?" Van Helsing asked Hannah as they rode. He had made her sit in front of him this time. Edward, Jinx, and Beatrie all rode behind them.

 

Edward sat silently on the horse, Beatrice in front of him holding her horse's reigns, Jinx behind him. He only felt slighlty awkward with her arms around his waist.

 

"I haven't quite decided yet." Hannah mumbled. "It's Edward, I'm mad at."

Aleera opened her wings to slow down as she spotted the group. "We must wait for a clearing to separate them."

Verona's fangs gleamed. "There's a pure girl."

Marishka looked at Beatrice. "You're right. She might be a nice snack."

 

"Hate him all you want," Van Helsing said rather heartlessly. "By the end of it it's better than you loving him.

"Shut up, Edward," Van Hesling cut him off. "I'm trying to have a conversation here."

 

"Van Hesling," Edward said from beind him, his ears starting to prick at the sound of beating wings only he could hear. "Something's--"

 

"I never said I loved him!" Hannah objected, her cheeks turning pink.

Aleera glared at the other two. "Focus on Rose. If we lose her again, master will be very upset."

Fear crossed both the brides' faces. "Of course." Verona said. "His wishes come first."

 

"I never said you loved him, either," Van Hesling replied with a smile, ignoring Edward as usual. "I said 'by the end of it.'"

 

Hannah looked over her shoulder. "Don't you want me dead by the end of it?"

Marishka caught the question and looked at the other brides.

"Go now!" Aleera dove, leading Marishka and Verona.

Verona headed for Edward, aiming to knock him off Sorin, but trying to be careful in case he bit her.

Marishka flew in front of Van Helsing and Hannah, spooking Lexi. "Care to play a game?"

Aleera grasped Hannah's arms, pulling her off Lexi as she reared.

 

"Van Helsing, listen to--"

But his sentence was cut short as Verona flew down and knocked him clear off Sorin. He cried out as she flung him against the nearest tree, sending fireworks of pain up his spine. He heard Hannah cry out and the other brides shriek with pleasure as Verona landed in front of him, grinning widely.

 

Van Helsing managed to hold Lexi still as Hannah was grabbed from in front of him.

"Down, girl!" he cried, and Lexi stopped trying to buck him off her back in panic.

He pulled out his bow, tilting back his hat so he could aim up at the sky where Aleera had taken Hannah.

"Damn her," he swore, unable to see well enough. He turned to see Sorin panicing and sprinting out of Beatrice's control into the deep section of the trees.

 

Verona's fangs and eyes shone in the darkness. "You shouldn't play with vampires."

Hannah reluctantly changed and broke away from Aleera. "So nice to see you again."

"Don't play coy with me." Aleera sneered.

"Give me one good reason." Hannah shot back, circling as Aleera did.

Marishka smiled maliciously at Van Helsing, her eyes a bright yellow. "What's the matter?"

 

"You protect the vampire, werewolf?" Verona asked. "That is very foolish."

Edward still had Van Helsing's silver bulleted gun in his belt and drew it now, having no other weapon.

"What do you plan to do with that?" Verona asked, grabbing the fornt of Edward's tunic and yanking him two feet off the ground, barring her sharp teeth.

"Something other than dying," Edward responded despite his breath being caught in his throat. He cocked the gun with his thumb, not knowing their was only one bullet left, and raised it to Verona's forehead. As he pulled the trigger and half the bride's head exploded in a mist of grey brain matter and blood, her nails dragged once more along his neck. The vital arteries along his throat spurted gouts of blood, making him lightheaded. He had just enough time to see Verona's head starting to grow back to its original shape before, despite his efforts, he passed out cold.

 

Hannah flew straight at Aleera and they locked claws. "You think it will be easy?"

Aleera smirked. "Don't be so sure of yourself." She broke away from Hannah, tearing one of her wings.

Hannah managed to stay in the air long enough for her wing to heal. "Go to hell!"

Aleera dove down to Hannah, slamming her into the ground. "Been there. It's quite cozy."

Hannah's head hit the ground, and her vision blurred.

Aleera cackled as Hannah's vampire appearance began to fade. "You're no challenge at all."

Hannah shook her head to clear the dizziness, but it was brought back when Aleera lifted her by her throat. "You're... a puppet, Aleera...." She chocked out.

Aleera threw Hannah against a tree. "You shouldn't talk as if you know everything." She scolded. "Your soon-to-be master will teach you much more."

Spots danced in front of Hannah's eyes. She was sure she'd heard a snap from her shoulder as she'd hit the tree; she knew it would heal, but not as fast as other wounds since she was still getting used to her unique abilities. "I'm not... going to hand myself... over to him...." She struggled to stay conscious.

Aleera strode over. "Such a pity. It would be easier if you did."

Hannah found she was using all her energy to focus on keeping awake. "Easy's always boring." She said before passing out.

Aleera clucked her tongue and then laughed. She took Hannah by the wrist and began flying back to Dracula.

 

OOC; well, i'm half confused and half not. i assume since Jinx doesn't have a horse she just ran along side them, so no horse for me to worry bout... yay! but the rest... um... time to jump in. PS: i love how random ur OOC's are. XD i would love to see what someone who doesn't know us in real life would say to read them XD *group huggles*

BIC: Jinx's throughts raged for a moment betweeen keeping her speices a secret from the brides and helping Hannha. Helping Hannah won and in a heart beat (haha!) she had changed and was flying at the Aleera. She sank her dagger into her back and grabbed Hannah by the waist before the bride could react. "Let go!" she screeched at Aleera, who still had Hannah's wrists. "Or I'll scratch your face off!"

 

OOC: angelyn, i put you on a horse with edward and beatrice, silly!!! LOLzzz edwrad got knocked off the horse and you and beatrice are still on there as of now... but then you flew off and went to start a cat fight with aleera (YESSSSSSSS!!!)... so beatrice is still sitting on her horsey smokin' pot. yay!!!

BIC: "You'd best stay back, Marishka," Van Helsing said, aiming his bow at the bride in front of him. "I have no regrets hitting a woman."

"I don't think so," she hissed, and flew at him.

Van Helsing held down the trigger, firing fast, small arrows at Marishka. She shrieked in pain and tried to fly out of his range, but the canopy of trees kept her down, unable to escape. Van Helsing finally got her to fly against a large oak, her wings pinned by dozens of holy-water-tipped arrows. He shut his eyes as he unloaded the rest of his round of arrows into her heart, his ears probably bleeding at the volume and awful sound of her screams. Finally she fell silent.

Van Helsing sighed, reached into his pack, and reloaded a new round of arrows into his bow. Then he heard Beatrice scream.

He turned to see Edward on the ground, a bloody line on his forehead, knocked out cold. Beatrice was still seated on Sorin, and screamed as Verona knelt to pick up Edward by the neck, her pointed teeth reaching toward his throat...
