Van Helsing

"I kill parasites like you and who ever gets in my way." Jake said. "I do my work so that no more innocents have to die."

 

Van Helsing nodded. "Unless you do something I don't like, of course," he muttered.

 

"Maybe," Edward thought aloud. "We don't want our leader damaged, would we?"

 

Lestat shrugged nonchallantly. "Whatever you say, boy," he sighed, and then raised his arms, expanding the hole in his shirt, showing his healed skin on his chest. "You'll have a hard time killing me!" he laughed.

 

"That is inevitable. But I'll hold up my end of the deal. I'll leave her clear of any emotions that don't belong in her head while she tells me what a b*stard I am and how immoral what I do is and how she knows what I'm up to and ect, ect, ect. Then you can step out of my way and let me do what I came here to do." he grinned evily and then suddenly the smile changed to sincerity. "Take her home and continue where we left off." then he walked off, his mind already switching gears to how this would all work out.

Jinx found Beatrice and stopped before getting to close. She stood still and waited, letting Beatrice get her fill.

 

Jake glared at Lestat. "I'll take care of you after those newborn she-vamps." He growled.

 

John's fist slammed into Jake's jaw. "One of those 'newborn she-vamps' is mine." He hissed. "Keep your filthy paws off her. I expect you dead within two days. In those two days, you will not go within a village's distance of Hannah, understand?"

"You make him sound like a tool." Hannah smiled, and got out of the carriage, holding onto the door for support as the pain returned to her head. She found herself looking at the moon again and forced her gaze to the ground.

After a moment, Beatrice stood up from the buck and wiped her mouth with the back of her hand.

 

Van Helsing swore, turning on the spot and banging his fist into the nearest trees, his knuckles beginning to bleed. Dammit, he thought angrily. Why do I have an awful feeling this is going to work out for the worst?

 

Edward frowned, following Hannah and putting his arm around her for support. "Van Helsing?" he called tentatively, seeing the man on the edge of the forest. "Is everything alright?"

 

Lestat laughed loudly, chuckling to himself, a swift image of Louis slamming him against a tree, full of his usual, mortal passion went through his head. He shook the painful thought away and smiled at John.

"Oh, he'll listen now, my friend," he gasped, patting the vampire on the back. "I'm sure of it."

 

Will laughed to himself, hearing Van Helsing swearing. Another twist in the game. he thought, cracking his knuckles.

"Feel any better?" Jinx asked, hopefully. "Sorry to follow you, but that werewolf hunter is around and I thought we shouldn't stay seperated." she explained quickly.

 

Jake stumbled back a couple steps from John's blow. He rubbed his jaw, not used to such power in a punch against him. "I'll do what I have to do to get the she-vamp." He retorted, rubbing his jaw. "If your little pet gets in the way, she'll get what she deserves."

 

"Was that what that smell was?" Beatrice asked. "I smelled something really... well, practically painful. I had to change directions. But if it was a werewolf, why doesn't Edward smell that way to me?"

Hannah greatfully accepted Edward's help. If I could find a lycan... She started on her own trail of thoughts, knowing Edward would handle Van Helsing.

John took the two steps towards Jake and punched him again; this time in the gut, and sent him backwards into a tree. "Keep away from the whole group or I'll make sure you die sooner than two days." He stood over Jake and harshly placed his foot on the werewolf's chest. "You're already weak from her venom. I could kill you right now." John removed his foot from Jake, allowing him to breath again. "Enjoy your last days of life." He walked away, ignoring Lestat.

OOC: bed time for mua. hannah already left XD hopefully i'll sleep through tonight and not bleed all over my pillow DX i might be on tomorrow, i might not. but i will be on on my lunch periods during the school week ^^ night night

BIC: "I think it's because you're used to him. His smell doesn't hurt me either." Jinx guessed. "It's good that you went away from the smell anyway, that guy's insane." she smiled. "Ready to go back?"

 

"No," Van Helsing snapped angrily, not turning to look at Edward and Hannah. "But don't expect and explanation from me with all the secrets you insist on hiding yourself."

 

Edward winced at Hannah's thoughts, but ignored them and Van Helsing's rage. "I'm sorry," he replied calmly. "I only do what I think is best, you know."

 

Lestat gave Jake a small bow and whispered, "And I barely touched you," before gliding after John, his grin still on his face.

I'd hate to sound melancholy, he chuckled. But I think the boy's still going to bother them. Stupid, isn't he?

 

Incredibly stupid. John agreed.

Hannah lost herself in her thoughts. The problem would be earning trust. And I don't even know what a lycan looks like.... They can't be too different from a vampire; probably pale... hm... but maybe they won't be because of the werewolf blood. Maybe I could tell by eyes. But then again...

"You're probably right." Beatrice said after thinking about it. "Yeah, we should get back. I don't want to keep them waiting."

 

Jake struggled to his feet, set off more by the shock than the fading pain. Filthy bloodsucker. This group will be a challenge to take out.

 

"Yeah, plus I don't like us being out here with that hunter around." Jinx added as they started back to the others. When they got close she recognized the smell of Van Helsing's blood. Damn... I forgot to eat again, and that's not going to help. she glanced at Beatrice to see how her reaction was."
