"Your limit better be better than mine was, we don't want you two to pass out..."Jinx said, absently, still thinking. (OOC: yummy red wine! XD)

Carl looked at Jinx for a half a second, not sure what that meant exactly, and then shrugged. "Right, let's go." He answered Van Helsing grinning at him.

 

OOC: she cheated by randomly posting jake to get 3000... butts!!!

Van Helsing and Carl went downstairs. "She can still drink the wine," he said to Carl, explaining Jinx's comment. "It's just... she can't hold her liquor very well."

 

Edward smiled to himself as he shut the door behind him, walking around Van Helsing and Carl when he saw them downstairs. Last thing I need is another Spanish Inquisition on where I'm going, he thought, reaching the door and going out to the forest once again.

Lestat, now! he ordered in his mind. I need to talk to you about how to kill John. Find me.

 

Now? Lestat sighed, relaxing back on his bed. I'm not up to moving, monsieur, thanks.

BIC: "Interesting, and how do you know this?" Carl chuckled, "On second thought, I don't want to know." he sat down at a table.

Jinx noticed Edward leaving. "Well, he's gone, I think we're allowed back." she muttered, standing up and walking back to the other room. She knocked on the door. "Hannah, do you want us to come in or do you need to be alone?" she asked.

 

"You can come in." Hannah groaned and curled herself into a ball.

Beatrice was at Hannah's bed faster than she thought ever possible. "Do you need anything?"

"Rest," Hannah replied. "Beatrice, please don't worry."

 

Jinx sat on the edge of the bed. "If you need anything, tell us, okay?" You have no idea how bad this is, do you?

 

Van Helsing smirked. "It wasn't that interesting," he said, despite Carl's never mind. He ordered himself a drink and then turned to the friar. "Is there any clue where we should be traveling once we find this werewolf here and kill it?"

 

Please, Lestat, Edward insisted, leaning against the nearest tree and sighing, his bare skin cool on the rough bark. I need to talk to you.

 

Carl ordered his own drink, "Yes, I've been doing research and we're headed to Transilvania." he answered, confindently.

 

Lestat frowned, hearing the pain and anger in the man's voice. He stood, tied his hair back in a neat, black ribbon, and climbed out his room's window.

"What?" he asked, next to Edward in seconds. He laughed when the werewolf jumped.

 

"Mm hmm," Hannah closed her eyes tightly, pain knotting her stomach.

Beatrice started fidling with her hair.

 

"Sounds like a good idea," Van Helsing replied. "If we can shake off all the idiot vampires following us. That Lestat, or whatever his name is, has no fear of me and already escaped me once. I should have killed that damned Will when I had the chance."

 

"Can we talk safely here?" Edward asked after he turned to face the vampire.

 

"No," Lestat said softly. But not many can hear our thoughts. Unless I've already shattered your mind enough with my words...

 

Carl nodded, "Don't beat yourself up about it, they all seem to be very... different than the other vampires we've seen. But I'm sure you can blow their brains out somehow. We'll just have to think of a better method."

 

"Jinx," Beatrice let her hair be. "I can see that it's bad, but what happens when a vampire bites a werewolf?"

 

"A better method," Van Helsing repeated, nodding his head. "I'd love to use those girls against them, but that still leaves Lestat... he and Edward seem too close for their own good."

 

No, Edward snapped defiantly, though his head was beginning to ache again. I can handle anything in my head as long as you tell me what I need to know.

 

I see, Lestat whispered, impressed. His tone was neutral and almost kind now. Well, you don't know exactly what this may involve, you know. It's not going to be easy.
