OOC; lol the phone got killed!

Beatrice nodded, relaxing now that they were back.

 

"They're going to the town close by," Lestat muttered to John now. "I assume you know how to get around unnoticed by mortals, yes?"

 

"I have my ways, yes." John replied plainly, busy prying in Hannah's mind.

 

"Oh, good," Lestat sighed dramatically. "Because I'm not in the mood to give you a lesson on shadow-blending."

 

"What did you do to him, Beatrice?" Van Helsing teased.

 

"Nothing!" Beatrice said quickly and then hugged her knees back to her chest and rested her forehead on them. "I didn't mean it...."

"Oh, that's boring. I just fly." John replied, still preoccupied.

Hannah curled closer to Edward in his arms. "My head hurts...." She murmured.

 

"She was really good actully." Carl spoke up for Beatice. "She didn't do anything that was threatening.. really."

Jinx smiled at Beatice, "Great job!" she said, happily, "You have a lot of self control, it seems."

 

Lestat tried not to let his jaw drop. "Sorry," he began coolly, surprised. "But you can... gliding is possible, yes, and running quicker than anything... jumping higher than four story buildings, but... flying? That's ridiculous."

 

"I was joking," Van Helsing muttered. "I knew you'd be fine."

 

"It's alright, love," Edward soothed, bringing Hannah over to Van Helsing's carriage and gently placing her inside. "We need to go soon," he said over his shoulder to the others, pulling several blankets over Hannah and jumping into the carriage next to her. "That would be a good idea."

 

"Maybe for your type." John rolled his eyes. "It's perfectly natrual for me, and Hannah of course."

Hannah relaxed when the pressure lifted from her head. She squirmed under the blankets to get comfortable and try to go back to sleep.

Beatrice took the reigns of Saphire and the other bay mare she decided she would call Coco. She felt a bit of discmfort as the sun began to rise higher, but she thought it was just from being tired.

 

Van Helsing climbed onto his carriage after hooking Lexi back next to Sorin.

"Alright, then," he said. "Shall we now that we're all together again?"

 

"What's the matter, dear?" Edward asked, nodding at Van Helsing and shutting the carriage door. He held Hannah's head in his lap, brushing back her hair from her face. "What can I do to help?" he asked quietly.

 

Jinx jumped up next to Beatice. She also noticed the sun and winced. "here..." she took off her cloak and drapped it over Beatice's head and shoulders. "You'll burn if your not careful."

Carl sighed and climbed back into the carrige.

Will heard the group getting ready to leave again and smiled, Ah, now time to find my other friend. he thought, silently running off after John's sent.

 

Lestat sighed. "Each generation is different over the decades, aren't they?" he thought aloud. "Luckily I'm good enough to not need such powers."

 

"We've all got our talents." John smirked, going to back to searching Hannah's mind.

"Headache," Hannah answered, curling into a ball. "Must be from holding myself back for so long."

"What about you?" Beatrice asked, adjusting the cloak.

 

Van Helsing started the carriage forward. Now that he was sitting he found his eyelids beginning to droop from not sleeping for over two days, and he shook his head to stay awake.

 

"That's not it," Edward muttered, reaching his mind out to Lestat. Stop him now! he demanded mentally.

 

Lestat smirked, both at Edward and John. "True," he repsonded. "You know, he's not liking what you're up to."

 

"It's okay." Jinx shrugged, "I've been out in the sun without a cloak before, I can handle it."

Will walked up behind the two men. "I hope you don't mind a third party in your group for a little while." he said.
