John snarled under his breath. I do. But why should I bother talking to you?

Hannah sat up and rubbed her eyes. "Where is she?" She stretched.

OOC: sure, tell her she's adorable and not say anything about me T^T

 

OOC: im sorry ill say something... WHERE IS MICHAEL??

 

"On her way back here," Edward replied slowly. "I don't think she's hurt but... I think she's hurt someone else."

 

I told you that it would be important and you'll be intrigued, Lestat laughed at John. Doesn't that make you the least bit interested in speaking with me?

BIC: Hannah snapped awake. "You don't mean what I think you do... do you?"

"There's a big difference between humans and vampires," Michael reminded Van Helsing. "If she was as innocent as I think she was when she was human, than that's the only reason she's held out so long. Don't you see the way she looks at your friar?"

You and I have very different definitions of those words. John growled.

OML (haha yes) i'm reading lestat's book and i loves him already XD

BiC: Jinx stood there for a few mintutes, thinking about what she was going to do when he got back. Soon he and his brother walked up, his brother looking her up and down. She smiled politly and held out her hand. "Hello."

He shook it roughly and then looked at his brother. "So go on, just be back soon. I'm not going to cover for you forever."

"You know it's not really nessasary in the first place." Jinx tried to put in quickly, but neither took her seriously.

"No, it's fine. Let's go." The boy put his arm around her shoulders and started directing her off in the direction of the bar. "You're very cold, are you alright?" he asked, as they walked.

"Hm? Oh, yeah, I'm fine. That's why I bought the cloak." She lied smoothly, pulling herself out from under his arm.

He frowned at her pulling away from him but didn't try again. "So what is your name?" he asked, opening the bar door for her and following after.

"Lexie." She lied again, without thinking about what she said. AFter the word was out she mentally slapped herself for lying and for choosing the horse's name. "What's yours?" she asked quickly.

BIC: "I see," Van Helsing sighed. "I've noticed, yes, but I figured she would be too afraid to hurt anyone, too scared to harm an innocent person to satisfy some hunger she doesn't understand or deserve."

 

"I am," Edward sighed regretfully. "But... she's okay and that's all that matters. Van Helsing and Anna never need to know. Lestat made her do this, I know it!"

 

All the same, Lestat shrugged in reply. You won't want to miss this, my friend... trust me.

 

Hannah hung her head and clenched the bedsheets. "But why? Bee was doing so well... better than me."

"But she can't fight what she is forever," Michael said sadly. My guess is, since she went with this Lestat, that she had some help."

"What is it?" John asked through grit teeth, coming out of the trees close to Lestat.

 

OOC: :D

BIC: "Danny." He answered promtly as they sat down. Jinx tried sitting across from him but he took the seat next to her anyway.

Damn but subtly has been lost. She sighed. "Alright Danny. Why don't you get yourself a drink, I'm not thirsty."

He nodded and ordered a beer. "So what brings your pretty face to Transilvania."

"Just passing through." She repeated, vaguely.

"So where are you staying? Maybe I can come up for a visit." He winked at her, making it hard to maintain her smile.

"I'm staying out of town." She answered, "I don't think you need to come, thank you." she gave him a meaningful look, hoping he'd understand.

"Oh I see." he frowned and looked at his glass.

"So, I hear Transivania is famous for Dracula. Is that just a stupid old myth or what?" she decided to try and at least get something usful out of him if nothing else.

He looked up sharply, "A myth? Heck no. That *******'s been taking from us for centuries... you might even see him soon, it's about that time of the month. We're lucky because he only usually takes one or two people a month although..."

Jinx could see the obvious fear on his face. "Although what?"

"Although lately he's been taking more than usual... it's like he's mad or wants revenge. But we en't done anything wrong!"

She looked away from him. That would be us...

BIC: "Of course," Van Helsing snapped. "I have no doubt he helped and encouraged her to the point where she didn't know what she was doing... I hope. Otherwise, I'm not going to stand for her killing innocent people no matter how newborn she is."

BIC: "Why?" Edward repeated. "Because he doesn't want her behaving like you and Jinx. He wants her to experience what he thinks being a vampire is really about. Lestat... he drinks when he doesn't need it; he does it because he can, because he likes it. He wants his children to do the same."

 

"Ah, looking better, I see," Lestat smiled, mocking a small bow at John and gazing at his healed injuries. "Like I said, though," he continued in answer to the other vampire's question, "we must wait till the sun goes down to talk in any detail."

BIC: "So it's not just myths. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope nothing has affected you too personally?..." Jinx looked at him, for the first time really seeing his face.

"My mother..." Danny sighed. "Just last week." his face contorted with pain at the thought of his mother.

Jinx's expression darkened. "I'm sorry." she said. "I really am." I'll bet you've heard that so many times, lately... She stood up.

"It's not you're fault." he stood up with her. "Here sit back down, we'll talk about something happeir."

Jinx shook her head. "Thank you for the talk, I'm sorry to go so fast but I think I've been gone a little too long even. Have a good evening." she smiled. "Things will get better very soon." I'll make sure of it anyway. she thought, walking out of the bar and down the street. She sighed. Now see what these people have changed me to, I actully feel attached to that boy and I only just met him and he even smell good. she almost laughed outloud.

 

"Then why call me now?" John asked in a low voice.

"Just different," Hannah murmured to herself, repeating John's old words. "So what are we supposed to do about it?"

"So you're saying that if it's not what you're 'hoping' that you'll kill her?" Michael said calmly.

 

Jinx arrived back at the castle and looked around for the others. She saw Bee in the stables and hesitated for a moment about disturbing her but finally headed towards here. When she got closer she stopped. "How's Sorin?" she asked.

 

"He's fine," Beatrice answered, turning to face Jinx.
