Jinx got closer to them. She soon smelled the blood, human blood, on Beatrice and winced. Damn it! There goes everything if Ms.Anna finds out. Why did he have to lead her to kill a human now of all times!? she sighed softly."Are you okay?" she asked, keeping her voice void of the frustration she was feeling. "I heard someone yelling a few minutes ago...." she ignored Lestat and looked at Bee only.

 

Hannah sighed. "Don't but still do." She tried to smile.

Beatrice was about to answer Lestat when Jinx came. "I'm great," She grinned.

 

"Oh, good." Jinx smiled faintly back. "I'm glad to hear it." she stepped out of their way, in case they wanted to go inside.

 

"Maybe sleeping will make you feel better, at least," Edward sighed under his breath, shutting his eyes. "Even though I doubt I will."

 

"Shall I leave you be, little one?" Lestat asked quietly in Beatrice's ear, giving Jinx a little wink before glancing down at the blonde girl. "You let me know next time you're... in the mood to venture out into the real world."

 

Hannah cuddled closer to Edward. "You're not tired?"

"Do you have to go?" Beatrice asked Lestat.

 

"Oh, I'm exhausted," Edward laughed with a smile. "But there's no way I can sleep."

 

"I'm not one for crowds," Lestat winked at Beatrice, stepping back from her. "Unless they're screaming my name, of course," he added with a wicked grin.

 

Jinx watched Lestat's face now, making a quick decistion while he talked to Bee. "Before you run off, you won't mind if I talk to you for a quick minute would you?" she asked, before he could leave.

 

"Talk?" Lestat chuckled, staring over at Jinx now. "What could you have to talk to me about, little miss?"

 

"You're still mad...?" Hannah asked quietly after a moment.

Beatrice gave Jinx a look. "Um... Should I go?"

 

"No," Edward sighed, shutting his eyes. "After tomorrow night everything will be better; then I can sleep."

 

"Just for a second, if that's okay Bee." Jinx answered her before looking at Lestat again, "I just want to ask you something. I promise not to bite."

 

"I won't make any promises on my part," Lestat chuckled, though his eyes were cold and nonresponsive, a light shade of grey.

 

Jinx ignored his comment, "'Be back in just a moment Bee." she smiled and then directed Lestat by the shoulders, giving him no choice but to go with her, away from the castle and out of Beatrice's ear shot.

 

Lestat shrugged away from Jinx's touch, trying his best not to turn and break her neck under his cold fingers with one swift movement. "Well?" he asked, a little angrily at being bothered.

 

"Don't sound so angry." Jinx snapped, not letting him intimidate her. "I just want to ask you something for Bee, since you're teaching her how to hunt people."

 

"If that little one had any questions she would ask me herself," Lestat replied, the smallest smile playing on his lips. "Do you speak for her now or something?"

 

Jinx frowned, "My apologizes." she said, sarcastily. "I said that wrong. I'm not asking a question for her as in I'm speaking for her. I want to ask you something to do with her." she stood back a little to be able to look him full in the eyes, her expression set coldly. "As you're teaching her to hunt humans, would it be possible for you to do it right?"

 

"Do it right?" Lestat smiled, grinning wider now. "How am I wrong, miss?"
