Van Helsing (Cont.)

"Okay," Van Helsing muttered after Jinx and then turned to Anna and Carl. "Carl," he began. "Should we be concerned about Michael and Beatrice out there?"

 

"I know," Edward sighed, leaning his head back on the pillows of the bed. "I just think that Monsieur de Lioncourt is not the best role model for her... but I'm coming to realize that's all she has now."

 

Well, do you like him? Lestat began, nodding politely at the man as he sat down at their table, his face a little curious. He's obviously not a good person if he hangs out around here... do you want him?

"A friend you know, mon cher?" Lestat crooned at the tavern girl now, pulling at her hair to tilt her head back and expose her neck. He bit the corner of his lip as she smiled.

"Oh, yes," the girl replied. "Here all the time, working and... contributing..."

Told you, Lestat added to Beatrice, and then waited for her reply, satisfied with himself.

 

"I'm doing what I can for her," Hannah laid on her side. "But I don't think it's enough... I can't really do anything to make this easier for her. What's worse... if Lestat hadn't done it... I would have eventually....""

Why is he looking at me like that? Beatrice looked away from the man, but she couldn't block out the sound of his heart that pounded in her ears.

 

Jinx walked down the hall way for a good while until she came to a window that over looked the town. She opened the latch, pushed the window open, and looked down. "Wow..." she whispered, seeing all the way to the ground. She turned her gaze out to the town and watched the few people still out moving around.

Carl looked at Van Helsing, a frown forming on his face. "They have been gone a long while... do you think something happened?"

 

"I don't know," Van Helsing began uneasily. "I'd just hate for them to get in trouble now; give Anna a great impression, huh?"

 

"Hey," Edward sighed, reaching over to touch her shoulder. "It's okay... I think Bee can take care of herself; it's just Michael that I don't trust."

 

You're attractive, Lestat laughed at Beatrice. That's why... but the question is if you want him... it's up to you. If you say no, they're both enough for me.

 

"Yes..." Carl replied slowly, "Maybe we should go look for them?" he suggested.

 

Van Helsing thought for a moment and then shook his head. "I don't think so," he began now. "Give them some time."

 

Hannah nodded in agreement. "He is helpful though."

Beatrice fought with herself for a moment, confused and hungry. Okay, She finally consented.

OOC: plan C went out the window for Bee >.< now I have to think off the top of mah head...

 

Edward frowned, but nodded his head. "Maybe a little," he replied. "But you both will not have anything in common soon; I'll see to that."

 

Lestat caught Beatrice's eye and winked at her. Good, he sighed. It's not that difficult, dear. All you have to do is instinct; your powers will aid you in whatever you need, trust me; he probably won't feel a thing.

 

Beatrice nodded meekly at Lestat, the twisting pain in her stomach coming to the front of her mind now. She was afraid to move, but at the same time she wanted nothing more than to get her teeth under the man's skin.

 

OOC: Oh noes! poor Bee... being influenced by Lestat. lol

BIC: Carl sighed but nodded. "I guess to be honest it would just make things worse if nothing is wrong." he shrugged. "I'm going to find a room for our things." he smiled at Anna and have Van Helsing a short wave.

Jinx finally reached over for the latch and shut the window, turning her attention away from the mesmerizing hieght to some other part of the castle. She roamed around, memorizing the different hallways and passages.

BIC: Hannah smiled. "And I'll wait for it."

Anna walked down the hall to the weapons room, trailing her fingers along the edges of the tables.

 

OOC: team lestat!!!

BIC: Van Helsing nodded, looking at Anna as Carl left. "So," he began. "Are you not a drinker or do you just not like me?"

 

"It's odd," Edward began, letting his eyes wander around the room. "Odd how we're all here... it sounds wierd, but think about it. Is this where you thought you would be two months ago?"

Do something, then, Lestat encouraged, turning to the girl in his lap.

"So, mon cherie," he began quietly, running his fingers along her cheek and throat. "Where do you sleep?"

 

Hannah bit her lip and shook her head. "It's almost the exact opposite..."

Anna turned to face Van Helsing. "Neither of the two," She answered curtly. "It's your comany that upsets me."
