Van Helsing (Cont.)

Van Helsing sighed when no one moved and started off into the trees himself, putting his bow on his back again.

 

"He'll get up," Edward said to Hannah, stepping after Van Helsing. "You'll be okay," he added more softly. "Tell me what I can do."

 

"I know!" Lestat laughed loudly, putting a hand up to her cheek. "I know... but you need to be with your friends; staying with someone like me will only get you into trouble."

 

Hannah shook her head, closing her eyes. "Just let me wallow...."

Beatrice frowned but gave in. "Alright, fine."

 

Michael followed Edward and Hannah. She'll need a while to recover. He thought, knowing Edward would hear.

 

Edward frowned as he walked, looking down at her."That doesn't sound like you, dear," he said softly.

I know, Edward sent to Michael. Which is why I want to help and make it a quicker process so she's well enough to get rid of John for good.

 

"Oh, I'll see you again," Lestat murmured, dropping his hand from her face. "Go see your friends."

 

"I don't... feel like me..." Hannah mumbled, her breathing slowing. "I just want... to wallow...."

Beatrice sighed and went to find Edward, Hannah, Michael, and Van Helsing.

 

OOC: ARG so much stuff happening! i gotta get better at catching u guys :P very cool stuff happening though, haha i love john's getting hit in the head and shot in the knee caps. XD

Edward sighed and held Hannah tighter. "It's okay," he whispered. "You'll get better."

Is there any way to help her? he asked Michael, not turning his head.

 

Lestat smiled softly as Beatrice left, and then turned to walk toward John's body, kneeling next to the man as he reached him.

"Oh, my," he sighed under his breath. "Do you need some help, my friend?"

 

It'll just take some time. Van Helsing told me that she wasn't very strong against mental attacks in the first place, and now that she's a lycan, it'll just be worse for her. Michael thought back. Just keep her away.

 

Beatrice caught up with Edward, Michael, and Hannah. "Is she okay?" She asked quietly.

"Yeah, of course, Bee," Hannah murmured. "I'm perfectly fine."

John glared at Lestat. "You started this."

 

Away? Edward repeated. I can keep her in the carriage for the rest of the day it takes to get to the Valerias castle. That's good enough, I think; if she wants control like she says she does, then she will have the strength to get better.

 

Lestat smiled and touched John's collarbone, letting the drops of blood drop off his fingertips. "I know," he said kindly. "But you don't look too well now, and, at this point, whomever started what doesn't seem relative to your health."

 

Michael nodded. The less she does, the faster she'll heal.

 

"Sorry," Beatrice said to Hannah. "You looked like you were sleeping."

"I was starting to," Hannah muttered. "Keep me awake."

"I'll heal myself." John growled.

 

Sounds good, Edward said to Michael, and then squeezed Hannah's shoulders tighter. "Once we get moving again you'll be better," he whispered to her. "I can keep you awake."

 

"Hm," Lestat said through a small laugh. "Doesn't look like that will happen time soon."
