"If you say so," Edward sighed. "If you want this Michael to sit with us, that's fine. I can handle him speaking with you, but if he does something I don't like... that's that, alright?"

 

Then imagine what the two of us could do to the poor b.astard, Lestat encouraged. I'd love to see that, wouldn't you?

 

Jinx slowed her pace, noticing Michael and Beatrice doing the same. "Maybe..." she answered Van helsing, "So, one more day. Finally, huh?"

 

Michael nodded Beatrice forward. "We don't want to wait too long."

 

"Agreed," Hannah tried to smile.

Beatrice entered the stables with Michael. "Are they ready?" She asked.

If we did kill him, one of us would have to take his place. And I'd rather not be hunted down for the rest of my existance. John retorted.

OOC: brain... dead...

 

"We're getting there, yes," Van Helsing replied as they got closer to the carriages. "I just hope everyone can work together by the end of it."

 

OOC: omg howd you two just show up and post at the SAME time like that? *brain fries* :D

BIC: Edward smiled at Hannah and then looked to Beatrice, trying his best to not frown at Michael. "Yes, they're ready. Are Jinx and Van Helsing on the way yet?"

BIC:Jinx shrugged. "Let's start with tolerating each other before we attempt working together." she smiled.

 

"I can tolerate you," Van Helsing laughed. "That won't be a problem..."

 

Michael nodded to Edward and then looked at Hannah for a moment before going to the horse with Jake's scent on it.

Lestat chuckled aloud to himself as he rested against a tree near the stables. Rules are nothing to such as us, John, he began seriously. No one HAS to do anything, my friend!

 

Edward smiled at Van Helsing and Jinx. "Ready to go, both of you?" he asked.

 

Hannah watched Michael, wondering why he kept staring at her.

"Are you going to come with Jinx and I before we go?" Beatrice asked Hannah.

"Sorry, what, Bee?" Hannah gave Beatrice an apologetic smile as she was jerked from her thoughts.

"I just assumed that we'd go hunting before we left." Beatrice said.

"Uh, yeah, I'll come. It has to be quick though." Hannah replied.

"Alirhgt," Beatrice went over to Sorin and kissed his nose. "Staying a stall must be boring you so much." She said quietly.

But I get a stall next to the mares. Sorin nudged Beatrice's shoulder.

"I should have known you'd like that," Beatrice smiled and ran her fingers through Sorin's forelock.

Tradition is more affective than rules, John murmured. He listened to the conversations through Hannah, already thinking of how the night would go.

 

You'd don't feel that you need to, my little one, Lestat murmured at Hannah. Can't you tell? No urge to drink, to kill... it will be like that for a long time.

 

Jinx smiled back. "Sure." she looked over at Beatrice. "But it looks like Bee and Hannah are planning on a quick hunt."

 

"If you insist," Van Helsing said with a small nod. "I'd like to speak with Carl about some paticulars before we go anyway. Don't take long."

 

Carl leaned on one of the walls of the stables listening to everyone talk. "Which bits?" he asked Van Helsing.

Jinx walked away slightly, giving them space to talk. But, having just eaten the night before, she wasn't very excited about going to hunt. I should eat more. she silently reminded herself. But not that much more. she thought afterwhile, standing next to the horses and stroking one's main.

BIC: "Let's go now then," Hannah said to Beatrice. "We'll be ten minutes at most." She said to the others, already heading out of the stables.

"Be right back," Beatrice whispered to Sorin and then followed Hannah. "You okay?" She asked, noticing Hannah's blank stare.

"Thinking," Hannah murmured in reply, rubbing her neck.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Beatrice asked, inferring about the last night.

"I've told you secrets before and you haven't kept them," Hannah answered acidly.

"That's because I thought it best that Edward know," Beatrice tried to amend.

Hannah shook her head. "Don't worry about it," She sighed. "You go on ahead," She told Beatrice when they reached the edge of the trees. "I'm... not in the mood."

 

Edward turned to Michael now, not really caring about what Van Helsing would say. "So," he began quietly. "You want to speak with her?"

 

"I just want to know how to talk to this Anna," Van Helsing began now. "If there's anything in paticular I should know about her or her family that could get her to help us more."
