Michael nodded. "I know. Beatrice was kind enough to give me some explinations there."

 

Beatrice ducked her head, an instinct to hide a blush that would no longer come. "Yeah... I could go with you if you want, Michael.

Hannah grit her teeth and clenched her fists, trying to figure out why her anger had escalted so easily.

 

"Why don't we all leave you alone." Carl said suddenly, seeing her getting angrier. Plus he didn't like seeing how Beatrice acted like she was blushing.

JInx noticed Hannah looking like she was about to hurt someone. "Yeah, you need to calm down." she said, simply. "We can let you be as long as you need."

 

Michael raised an eyebrow at Beatrice. "Perhaps we'll just let Edward be with her."

Beatrice rubbed Hannah's shoulder but took her hand back when Hannah flinched away from her touch. "We'll just... see you later then, Hannah." She murmured, hurt, and stood up. Glancing at everyone else, she headed out the door and to the other room.

Hannah closed her eyes, focusing on her other senses.

Michael followed Beatrice. "She's definately a new lycan; her anger comes easier than most though, it must be a second emotion to her."

 

"But what about her eyes..?" Beatrice asked quietly.

 

"Well," Michael tried to think of how to phrase his ideas to the delicate vampire before him. "She either... killed someone... or had blood in some way. And, though I'm sure you didn't see, no one else seemed to, she's got some fresh marks on her neck. So my guess is that her first full moon was the oposite of terrible."

 

Beatrice shuddered. "That's what I didn't want to hear..."

 

Michael folded his arms. "Edward should keep an eye on her."

 

Jinx walked out after them with Van Helsing. Listening to Michael and Beatrice she put another piece into what she was trying to figure out. That's what that smell is: blood. But who's? It's not human... it's like... like... she frowned in thought.

Carl followed them out too, going to the other door with the key. "She doesn't seem likely to tell us what happened anytime soon."

 

Beatrice nodded at Carl. "It... must have been bad..."

 

"By my assumptions, it was." Michael murmured.

 

"Hm..." Jinx hopped up to sit on the window sill when they got into the room, "Although Edward did say it was something to do with John..." she said, tapping her fingers on her knee.

Carl leaned on a wall. "Being with Edward will probablly help her quite a bit, at least."

 

Michael sat on one of the beds. "Who's John?"

Jinx frowned at her hands. "Her vampire maker." she answered, dryly. "He won't leave her alone for one moment it seems."

"That's natural," Michael commented. "Though there are some creators that go beyond the limits."

 

"Does anyone even care about Dracula anymore?" Van Helsing muttered under his breath.

 

"I'd be glad to help with that," Michael replied to Van Helsing, catching his comment.
