Van Helsing (Cont.)

"Someone like you," Van Helsing muttered under his breath, though not unkindly.

 

"Not now," Edward insisted, pulling Hannah close to him. "Unless..." he added, looking down at her. "Unless you want to talk about it?"

 

Lestat laughed to himself, and then shut his eyes. Now... he thought calmly. I think I'd like to spend the rest of the day in Greece...

 

"Who bit you?" Michael asked suddenly, still leaning against the wall.

 

OOC: Louis! Louis! Louis! ;^o^;

BIC: Hannah froze against Edward. "I don't want to talk about either of those." She murmured, barely able to keep her voice from shaking.

Beatrice gave Michael a confused look. Does he mean which vampire bit her or which werewolf she bit??

 

"Fine," Michael dismissed the subject, ignoring Beatrice's gaze. "I don't want to make you uncomfortable."

 

OOC: I just realized I got post 900!!! *o*

BIC: "Hannah," Beatrice started slowly. "Why are your eyes red?"

Hannah bit her lip. "That's really none of your business, Bee." She replied.

 

Michael frowned, having formed a theory of what happened. It would mean trouble for her with this group if I'm right.

 

Beatrice looked around and then back at Hannah. "But if something happened, shouldn't we know?"

"No," Hannah responded harshly. "Just leave it be."

 

"Don't get her angry." Michael warned Beatrice.

 

"And what are you hiding anyway?" Edward began, rubbing Hannah's shoulder and staring at Michael. "Your thoughts are plain to me and maybe Van Helsing, but sharing is someting you're going to have to do if you want us to trust you at all."

 

"You should talk," Van Helsing could help himself from retorting. "Secrets seem to be something you enjoy for no reason."

 

"Would just shut your damned self-centered mouth for one second and let this one answer me?" Edward snapped, jerking his head at Michael and hoping everyone didn't hear the growls in his stomach.

Lestat, if this new b.astard is right I will kill you, Edward added. I do trust you, but only to a certain extent...

 

I did what he says, Lestat began confidently. But for the reason of helping her, protecting her, making her not have to kill like she hates... He paused, laughing aloud and in his mind. Just wait until John finds out!

OOC: Louis, Louis, I love little Louis! He's yummmmmmmy!!!

 

Jinx kept looking at Hannah, trying to peice together what she though Hannah wouldn't tell them.

 

"No," Hannah repeated firmly. "Maybe later, but not now." She could feel the irritation bubbling in her like a boiling pot on a stove.

Beatrice looked over at Jinx, glad to find that she wasn't the only one who was utterly confused.

 

"I could tell them for you." Michael offered.

 

"Maybe you'd just like to rest..." Jinx suggested, gently. "You must have had a hard night, I'm sure we'll all just be a bother at the moment."

Carl looked at each of them breifly, also compeltely lost in the conversation.

 

Hannah's red-ringed eyes bore holes into Michael. "You're out of line." She growled, not paying any attention to Jinx.

"Hannah," Beatrice sat next to Hannah. "He just wants to help. Please don't be angry. Jinx is right, we could leave you alone if you want."

"Just him." Hannah didn't take her eyes off Michael.

 

Jinx looked at Michael, unsure, "We have another room..." she said, evenly, trying to keep Hannah from getting even more angry.
