Van Helsing (Cont.)

Jinx caught up to Bee and grabbed the back of her shirt. She stopped, pulling the new born to her so she could talk into her ear. "I don't want you to get hurt but I care more for Gabriel right now so if you screw this up for us, you'll regret it." she said before letting the struggling girl go. "Come on, let's kick Dracula's ass." she ran off again, hoping that she got through Bee's ego alittle.

Carl paused his dance party and looked down to earth. "Oh my, this is getting interesting. Ugh, he's a permant werewolf? how vile, without me there he'll shoot himself in the head or somethign!" he complained.

 

OOC: omg whoever made this thread *cough* needs to POST already!!!!

 

OOC: Yeah! Who the heck is that girl? .......... Oh. Right. I'll post now. xD

BIC: Hannah kept pace with Edward. Sometimes, I can't believe I've ended up here. The thought was small and in the back of her mind. The main thing she was thinking of now was getting to Dracula and Van Helsing before Beatrice did something stupid.

Beatrice stood stunned by Jinx's words. She heard Lestat and answered, But I have you... don't I? And... and everyone else is coming; I can hear them. You're... here if I need you, right?

"Beatrice!" Michael stopped when he got to her side. "What the hell were you thinking? No. Let me guess. You weren't thinking? Beatrice, you may not know it, but we all care about you, and none of us want to see you go get yourself killed. Please, think of us before you run off next time."

 

Jinx continued to run and soon enough saw the werewolf and vampire battle taking place. She stopped, seeing Dracula tower ontop of Van Helsing. She thought over the options for helping Van Helsing, saw they all came down to drawing attention to the group approching, and went with the most direct and least time wasting. She threw a strong glamour over herself to appear invisible and approched the two. The glamour wouldn't work for very long to Dracula, as he was so strong, but if he wasn't paying attention it should hold for a little while.

 

Dracula looked up from Van Helsing, smelling the air where Jinx was moving. He reached out swiftly and with his right hand caught the vampire by the throat. He squeezed tightly, lifting the girl three feet off the ground.

"This is the girlfriend, no?" he taunted the injured werewolf, flashing Jinx a vicious grin as her glamour began to stutter and fade under his power. "I told you they'd come, no matter how far you ran. Tell me, little dear," he continued in a softer tone at Jinx, "how do you like the hunter of your kind now, broken and bestial?"

Edward caught up with Michael and Beatrice, Hannah not far behind him. "Great, you've got her," he said at Michael. "Now where the hell did Jinx go? Honestly, how are we supposed to do anything without us all together to think?"

Lestat wanted to laugh, but swallowed the idea, actually caring to not hurt his child's feelings. Little one, he began patiently. I may be your father, but I am not a... paternal person. You must realize that.

I care for you, yes. I helped you by turning you, yes. I've given you more attention that you deserve, yes. But... I am Lestat de Lioncourt, tiny Bee! A fantastically good looking, brilliant, wealthy, immortal, power Frenchman that only has one real love in his life... and he lives in New Orleans.

I've made three children, all sad, selfish mistakes and one is dead. You might be next if you don't learn to think for and take care of yourself.

He paused, feeling her emotional reaction to the thoughts he'd sent. Begrudgingly, he added, And, yes, you have me for as long as I see fit.

 

OOC: aww poor edward, no one listens to him being smart heehe

BIC:Jinx dropped her glamour reluctantly. "He changed? I hadn't noticed." she replied, swinging her foot up to kick his throat. "Get off of him." she added sharply. Her throat stung from talking against his grip but she gave no indication how much stronger he was than her, keeping eye contact.

 

Thanks, Lestat. Beatrice replied, though there was a small part of her that was hurt.

"Jinx went to Dracula and Van Helsing," Michael answered Edward.

Hannah swore. "Let's just go. There's enough blood here without adding ours to it."

Get away, Van Helsing thought at Edward, hoping he'd be able to hear him. My wounds from him are healing; I can handle this. Get them all out of here.

Dracula's smile lessened slightly but his grip tightened. "Letting him go would serve neither of us any good," he snapped. "This is what we're meant to do; collide, fight, destroy the other until ultimate death. Fate and the gods have decided it to be this way, and it has happened for much longer than you can comprehend. Now..." He paused, putting both hands to Jinx's throat and shoving her hard away from him, into the nearest tree, sending it to the ground along with all its neighbors.

"Run away," he continued heartlessly. "Get your friends and go. I will have more brides, with less interference once the left hand of God is dead. Go."

"Go?" Edward repeated, trying not to show his reaction to the hunter's words. "The only place I'm going is in there to help Jinx and Van Helsing! Now do you agree or not?"

 

Jinx's breath was knocked hard from her as she collided with the tree. "Stupid son of the devil." she muttered, staggering to her feet. "I'm sick of being told to run away by him," she pointed to Van Helsing. "and I sure as hell won't take it from you!" she said, walking right back to him. "What are you going to do? Tear me apart? Go ahead and make my decade." she put her hands on her hips and waited for him to move. It was fairly obvious she was just distracting him, but it would buy alittle time at least.

 

OOC: Get ready for the most epic post ever made on this thread!

*drumroll!!*

BIC: "Okay, let's go." Hannah said.

 

Dracula smiled at Jinx, though he spied the new group just beyond the trees. "If you won't listen, there's no need to tear you apart," he said as though this were obviously. "Honestly, you must think me some nasty animal. You're an exceptionally lovely girl; why don't you save your face and take my merciful offer of surrender?"

Hannah, Edward mentally shot. You've got to be the strongest one here, right? I mean, Van Helsing isn't coordinated in this form, nor will he be in time to save himself. Michael and Bee don't know how Dracula fights... neither do I, really, and Jinx is a perfect distraction with all her skills. If you go, I'll back you up. Just take him down enough for me to bite him, alright? That's all we need.

 

Jinx tapped her foot impatiently. "You're standing on Gabriel, so yes I do think you're a nasty animal. But be my guest and explain how decent you really are. Maybe the fifth time's the charm and I'll believe it. I might even fall to my knees and beg to be your bride." her hand flew to her forehead as she pretended to swoon.

Suddenly someone pressed the red button that says "DO NOT PRESS" and Transalvania exploded in a huge BOOM of silver, fire, and other things that kill humans and vampires and lycans and werewolves and kitens. Somewhere out in space, Obiwan kanobie felt a disturbance in the force. Little did he know it was not just Alderan who exploded, but Transalvania. AWWWWWW

Dracula chuckled at Jinx's taunting. "In the thousands of years I've been alive, dear, I've never heard such an awfully disgusting lack of threat in a taunt from a pretty girl. You're very disappointing."

Van Helsing had finally gathered all his mental strength; most of his broken bones had healed partially enough that he would be able to move when the time was right. All I need is for Edward and Hannah to make their move... I know they're nearby... as for Michael and Bee I'm not sure, but we'll see...

Edward was tired of waiting for Hannah to go with his plan; he wanted this finished now and not a minute later. He let out a harsh, ringing howl, bounding forward through the broken trees and shattered brush of the recent battle to launch himself at Dracula. He collided with the vampire's shoulder, taking him down and away from Van Helsing. He felt Dracula's claws dig into his fur, searing like hot irons through is flesh, but he held on with his own sharp nails.

Now, Van Helsing! he thought at the newly born werewolf. I'll hold him down and you bite whatever you can get at! Don't worry about me!

Lestat laughed when he watched the turning of events. "They're sad little creatures, werewolves... but my little Bee is turning out to be even sadder... she's done nothing of importance or remembrance, the poor girl."

D watched from the outside of the trees, no expression on his face. "That hunter will want to know how to go back to his original form after this... with no antidote, there's nothing he can do... with me."
