Van Helsing (Cont.)

Van Helsing took a step away and picked his gun off the ground.

"This is ridiculous!" he snapped.

 

"So shoot him!" Jinx yelled back, still backing away from him. "What did you think would happen?! I could have killed you!" she was actually crying now, "Just kill him!"

OOC : lol van helsing is silly

 

Dracula suddenly stepped forward and threw a sleek punch at Jinx, hitting her in the small of the back. He grabbed both of her arms from behind and twisted them back until they snapped sharply at the elbows.

He shoved the vampire girl's body to the ground and looked to Van Helsing.

Van Helsing let out an angry cry and emptied his gun, shocked, into Dracula's chest.

"Get away from her, you son of a b.itch!" he shouted, fumbling for another clip of bullets.

Dracula laughed as the bullets pushed themselves out of his chest and dropped into the mud.

"Any other bright ideas, dear?" he laughed down at Jinx, though his eyes stayed on Van Helsing.

 

Jinx lay on the ground, waiting for her arms to heal. She looked up to see his gaze on Van Helsing so she reached out to grab his ankle and pulled his foot out from under him. "You'll die tonight somehow." she muttered, pulling herself over him and trying to hold him down.

 

Van Helsing ran forward to help Jinx and slipped in a pool of Carl's blood. His feet flew out from under him and he landed on his back, all the wind knocked out of him.

Dracula hissed and kicked off Jinx's hold, regaining his footing. He shoved a boot into her side, crushing several ribs.

"How many of your bones do I have to break over and over until you give up?" he smiled. "It'd be a shame to rip your head off."

 

Jinx laughed coldly thought the pain of her healing ribs. "All of them." she answered in one breath, shakily pulling herself up to standing to face him squarlely. "Why are you afraid to kill me? you could have along time ago. Why aren't you just getting rid of me. There are more willing women out there." she couldn't help asking him.

 

Van Helsing grunted and looked around, shaking his head to regain his surroundings. When he saw Carl's blood he'd slipped in and the remains of his friends body, he suddenly wretched. He managed to get to his knees before vomiting all of his stomach contents onto the ground.

Dracula couldn't help but smile at the sounds Van Helsing was making. "Because I can tell you're strong," he replied, as if the answer were obvious. "There are plenty of women, true, but with empty minds. Your passion would be quite the addition... compared to that Beatrice girl of yours."

 

"But I'll never side with you! You can't possible think after all this I would?" Jinx retorted, disbelieving. "You're just like William, you think because you're stronger than me I'll bow down." half way though her words she kicked out at his throat.

 

Dracula easily dodged Jinx's attack and stepped back.

"Oh, well," he sighed. "It could've been fun."

He grabbed the back of Jinx's head with one hand and wrapped the other arm around her neck. He squeezed and twisted as he smiled.

"No!" Van Helsing cried, rising to his feet and running at Dracula and Jinx. He collided with them both and broke the vampire's hold. He grabbed Dracula's lower jaw and ripped it off his face. He ignored the vampire's shriek and picked Jinx up off the ground with himself. He threw her over his shoulder and started running in the opposite direction, through the deserted streets of the town.

"If you won't get the hell out of there before he kills you, I move you myself!" he shouted.

 

Jinx was more shocked by Van Helsing's actions than by Dracula's. She could feel his heart rate increasing as he ran and groaned queitly as she struggled to get out of his grasp. "Instead of doing this, you should be fighting him! It's my damned choice!" she yelled, pushing agianst his back.

 

"Don't you dare argue with me!" Van Helsing snapped, continuing to run. "I don't care what you want, just listen to me!"

 

"put me down! You stupid man I'm going to kill you if you don't! I'll listen!" Jinx yelled right in his ear to get her point clearly across. Her eariler close call had frightened her more than she wanted to admit and she was afraid of it happening again.

 

Van Helsing skidded to a halt and dodged into the nearest building, putting Jinx on her feet.

He put his hands on his hips, panting. "You're not going to run away or hit me?" he asked, gasping.

"Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabriel," Dracula chanted, rising in the air to float above the buildings (after he found his jawbone and reattached its sexiness, of course.) "Oh, Van Halen! Where are you? You can't hide from mommy forever!"

 

"If you stop touching me, yes. I'll do what you say." Jinx looked him in the eyes, obviously furious with him. "So what am I supposed to do? Leave you here alone, wounded, to fight Dracula? You'll die..."

 

"I will not!" Van Helsing cried, almost like a child. He sighed and shut his eyes for a moment. "Look... you just need to let me do this. I thought I could have you fighting with me because I know what you can do, but... after what happened to Carl..."

He inhaled sharply and turned on the spot, his hand over his mouth as his stomach turned.

"Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabriel!" Dracula cooed again. "Where are you, little man? I have cookies!"

 

OOC; Dracula makes me giggle

BIC: Jinx again bit her lip overly hard and quickly took his face in her hands, turning it to look at her. She was fighting hard again to keep herself in check. "Okay, I won't... help you. But don't die..." she couldn't think of anything meaningful other than that to tell him so she just kissed him quickly, almost too quickly to actually feel because she was afraid of biting him. Then she let him go and jumped back to get alittle bit of 'fresh' air in her lungs.

OOC: Van Helsing and Dracula can haz epic battle now?

 

OOC: haha i had to do something to make angelina laugh cause she had a hard time at practice... and dracula and vanny will fight tomorrow, maybe, when im awake enough to battle with... myself XD

BIC: Van Helsing nodded and shook his head to clear it. "Thank you," he said softly. He went to stand next to her and bent to kiss her cheek. "If I need your help, I'll call for you."

And he turned and ran out of the building toward Dracula's voice.

"Ha!" Dracula cried in triumph. "I knew those cookies would get you!"

 

OOC: did u glomp her for me? :D

BIC: Jinx watched, gritting her teeth. Once she was sure he was gone she fell back against the building and shook uncontrobably. "Stupid man..." she muttered angrily, looking up at the sky. She could still see the odd bride feeding and stood up.
