Van Helsing (Cont.)

Van Helsing pulled out his nearest dagger and gripped it in his hand. "I'll show you how pathetic I am!" he shouted, and ran forward, shoving the blade into Dracula's heart.

The vampire gave a scream and stepped backward a few paces, clutching at the hilt in his chest.

"Crude, Gabriel," he gasped, and yanked the blade out, tossing it aside. "But did you really think it would be that easy?"

In half a second, he suddenly raised his hand and collided his arm with Van Helsing's side, sending the hunter flying twenty feet in the air and into a cart full of hay down the road. The wood exploded from the impact, hay and debris flinging everywhere.

Hikari gasped and turned around. "What the hell?" she started, springing away from the Jinx on the ground. "What is this?"

 

Jinx bit her lip hard to keep from reacting to the sounds of Dracula and Van helsing fighting. She stood up silently, putting Hikari between the two of herself as she did. "It could be me..." she answered, unhelpfully.

"It's up to you how you figure this out." the glamour picked up without pause.

 

Van Helsing groaned and rolled over (like a puppy XD) on the ground, throwing as much debris off himself as possible. Shaking his head to clear it, he quickly grabbed his bow and stood up shakily.

"You don't remember anything, do you, Gabriel?" Dracula began, stepping toward the hunter.

"What, exactly," Van Helsing gasped, "am I forgetting, you son of b.itch?"

Edward waited for Hannah to do something.

Hikari let out a shriek of frustration and dived at the Jinx in front of her. Knocking them both to the ground, she stood again quickly and grabbed the collar of the other vampire's shirt.

"I'll just destroy both of you, then!" she cried, and used all her strength to launch Jinx away from her and through the building behind her, which happened to be a barn full of cows.

Ignoring the distraught mooing behind her, Hikari turned to the other Jinx.

"Ready to die?" she hissed.

 

Mary coughed and looked around the room, waiting too.

Jinx shook her head sadly, her glamour evaporating from where it had been thrown. "Not today." she answered through her make shift veil. "If you aren't either, I suggest you leave now. EVen if you manage to kill me, you'll only end with a bullet in the heart and hell for eternity." she waited for Hikari to ignore her and attack again.

 

"You used to be quite the enemy, Gabriel," Dracula replied. "Now you're going soft... having... friends? Teams? This isn't like you at all... years and years ago you were enough of a threat by yourself."

"There's nothing wrong with the people I work with," Van Helsing snapped.

"Don't you see?" Dracula sighed. "These people distract you from your goal, your true power, your real level of potential. And teaming with vampires themselves... by the Devil, Gabriel, you've turned into an imbecile!"

"Stop talking!" Van Helsing cried, clenching his fists. "I've had enough of you!"

"That's more like it," Dracula smiled. "Now we're getting somewhere... Let's see... what can I use to push you a little further so you're worth my time? Ah."

He turned to Carl who was standing nearby. "Come here, little mortal," he whispered, and suddenly Carl flew toward Dracula and crashed into the ground at his feet.

"You're a very sad person," Dracula hissed, lowering his head to look at Carl. "A pathetic life form, something that shouldn't be near... beings like us. Goodbye."

He stepped over Carl and onto his arms, crushing them down into the dirt and dug his boot heels down until both his limbs broke, cracking nastily int he mud.

Dracula laughed at the screaming and writhing man under his shoes.

"Carl, no!" Van Helsing shrieked, and rushed forward, weapon drawn.

"No. Stay," Dracula sighed, and put out a hand that suddenly stopped the hunter in his tracks and pinned him against the wall of the nearest building.

"Now," he looked back down at Carl, and smiled. He lifted one his right boot and placed the heel on the side of Carl's head. "Shall this be slow or fast?"

He smiled further at Carl's terrified, muffled scream. "Slow, then," Dracula whispered. He pushed down on the side of Carl's skull, blood pouring out of the man's nose, eye sockets, and left corner of his mouth as the cartilage in his face began to crack. Finally the vampire's boot hell snapped through Carl's soft temple and sunk into his brain, coating the leather and what was left of the man's head in grey matter and gore. Dracula sighed and rolled his eyes at what was left of Van Helsing's right hand man.

Dracula grinned as he shook his right leg and looked to Van Helsing. "You see?" he grinned. "They only slow you down..."

Edward farted.

Hikari sighed and put her hands on her hips. "So why they hell are you fighting on the wrong side anyway?"

 

Jinx shrugged. "If I didn't fight with Gabriel I wouldn't fight at all." she answered and was about to say something else when she heard Van Helsing's scream. Her eyes grew wide as the scent of Carl's blood hit her. "oh my god..." she whispered, turning around and forgetting the newborn without a thought. "****!" she took off in a sprint, praying the frair wasn't dead.

 

"God!" Van Helsing screamed, breaking free of Dracula's hold and crawling over to Carl's body. He felt his eyes fill with tears and he looked down at the blood-soaked ground instead. His hands clenched into angry fists.

"Was that enough, Gabriel?" Dracula asked. "Or should I rip apart the pretty one running toward us now?"

"You ****ing son of a *****!" Van Helsing yelled, and sprang up to land a punch on Dracula's jaw. The vampire stepped back one pace and grinned, cracking the bone back into its joint.

"We're getting there," Dracula smiled.

"What the hell?" Hikari wondered, watching Jinx run away from her. "Screw that girl, I'm hungry anyway..."

 

Hannah had no idea what mrsbaggin and PRINCESS were waiting for her to do so she just stood there.

OOC: Bye bye fourth wall. xD

BIC: The scents of so many people's blood was overpowering to Beatrice, but Michael held her back. Then, with no apparent cause to Micheal, Beatrice stopped struggling against him. She was completely still, she'd even held her breath.

Then Michael smelt what Beatrice had. It was Carl's blood, and a lot of it. He could feel from the way that Beatrice hung in his arms that she wouldn't go anywhere. She wasn't glad to smell Carl's blood so strong on the air. Slowly, he let her go; but she only sank to her knees on the ground.
"I will be back," He murmured. In a flash, he'd left the stables and was at Van Helsing's side.

 

Van Helsing jumped slightly when he saw Michael next to him. "What about Beatrice?" he muttered quickly.

You're stronger than me against her, Edward sent at Hannah. Rip her apart so we can go help the others!

"Another one?" Dracula said calmly, looking at Michael. "My God, you've quite the group, Gabriel! It's very sad that I have to rip them all apart to get to angry enough to be worth my time."

 

Jinx reached Carl's body first and clamped a hand tightly over her mouth and nose. His dead corpse for a second had her paralized between shock and bloodlust. Carl... She shakily passed his body, finding it harder as she went but soon she reached Van Helsing too.

OOC: in that case ^^ i'll just jump ahead.

BIC: Mary tapped her foot infront of Edward. "Alright, fine. I guess you two can't be reasonable traitors so I'll give you this choice instead." she slide back to Hannah, trapping her in Mary's grasp and leaning her mouth foward to be right at Hannah's throat. "Stop being stubborn and do what I've asked or I'll take out her blood. I don't know if that will kill her but it certianly can't be good for the half breed."

 

OOC: rawr my name is hannah the vampire and im so cool that i smell like poo!!

BIC: Van Helsing tensed tightly when he saw Jinx.

"Get out of here!" he snapped before he could help himself. "Go!"

Dracula looked from the little vampire girl to the man next to Van Helsing, and to the hunter himself. "I'm sorry, Gabriel," he teased. "It's just that the overwhelming... variety of smells is bothering me. It's very odd, especially that one." He jerked his head rather smoothly at Jinx and wrinkled his nose.

 

Jinx clenched her fists over and over, "Shut up GAbriel." she growled deep in her thought in reply. At Dracula's comments her anger targeted him. "Whats wrong with my scent?" she snapped, crossing back and forth between control and losing it.

Carl looked down from heaven. "Wow, they look like ants!" he said, flapping his wings.

 

Van Helsing glared. "Don't talk to him, Jinx, just go!"

"No, no," Dracula interjected easily. "It's just odd, your smell," he continued, looking to Jinx, "because of your... situation. The humans you've decided to coincide with make you smell... stale and out of place. You might be able to outsmart my little brides, but you're out of your league here, dear. It's not too late to choose the right side, though.

 

Jinx sharply put a hand up in a "stop" motion to Van Helsing, not caring how many times he told her to leave. "What? Become your ****? That's the right side?" she asked Dracula, nearly shouting. "I've spent my life running from becoming someone like that, what makes you think I'd join you?" Why doesn't someone shoot him while i'm talking to him?!

 

Van Helsing dropped the gun he was holding in his hand and suddenly wrapped his arms around Jinx.

"Let it go," he snapped. "This doesn't involve you!"

Dracula sighed. "As if she hasn't realized biting grown women is much easier than having babies," he muttered under his breath.

 

As soon as Van Helsing touched her, jinx's eyes wided. She could feel his heart beat as if it was her own and the wounds he had were pressed against her skin. "L, let go." she whispered, working hard to keep from moving. "Gabriel I can't..." she choaked out, trying not to breath or shift.

 

Van Helsing tightened his grip nonetheless. "I won't let go unless you promise to get out of here," he demanded.

 

Jinx couldn't reply, she started breathing heavily, despit her efforts to hold her breath. Her eyes had darkened to be almost black. She was stiff as a statue in his arms. After a moment she whimpered softly, now physicly needing to drink blood. Leaving him meant he would be killed (in her mind) and staying meant she would kill him.

 

Dracula chuckled under his breath, folding his arms neatly over his chest.

"Go," Van Helsing snapped, though there was a pleading tone in her voice. "Just... look at Carl; I can't let that happen to you, too."

 

"That will be you... if you dont..." Jinx bit her lip hard enough to puncture nearly all the way though. "Get off!" she could feel the last of her sanity slipping away so she shoved him backwards as hard as she could. She didn't know if he was hurt or not but it was either throw him or bite him. She stumbled away from him.
