Van Helsing (Cont.)

"Let them be," Van Helsing muttered. "Whatever Michael has to say I'm sure will help Beatrice figure out whatever's bothering her."

"Oh, aren't you sweet all of a sudden?" Edward muttered under his breath.

Hikari sighed, and then jumped when Dracula came out of the far room.

"About time," she muttered loud enough for everyone to hear. "Now what?"

Dracula licked his lips and looked around at all the women in the foyer.

"Now we need to think of tactics," he began, walking into the center of the room slowly. "Something to draw Gabriel and his friends to us from the Valarious Castle."

"The village you got us from isn't far from that castle," Hikari began, raising her voice a bit more. "It's full of awful people, and... well, if I'm not completely wrong, all of us will need to feed soon."

Dracula nodded slowly. "Yes, I already knew that," her replied smoothly. "I will take you there tonight... all of you. Gabriel and and his little army will be there in no time to try and stop us."

 

Mary's eyes darkened alittle at the thought of blood. The need to feed was getting stronger. "Are there any people we aren't allowed to touch?" she asked, thinking ahead to the feeding frenzy that was sure to accure. She wanted to avoid doing something wrong for at least the more intellegnet girls.

Jinx tapped her finger on the arm rest rapidly. "Edward, if you want to check on them, no one is stopping you. Whatever makes you feel better." she wanted to keep talking with D as he seemed interesting when he talked but while the other two bickered it wasn't going to happen.

 

Edward shook his head. "I'm staying with Hannah," he replied.

"Then be quiet," Van Helsing replied, and was surprised when Edward didn't say anything back.

"You shouldn't have any problems," Dracula replied easily. "With the scum that lives in little towns like that, you don't have any limits."

"Just what I wanted to hear," Hikari chuckled.

 

"Lovely." Mary cooed, looking out the window again and taking in the scents of the town. She could already pick out a few that she knew she would target immediatly. The thought of hunting and fighting for the man who had freed her made her eager to get out of the castle. We'll see what these new strengths can do. i want someone in that "Gabriel's" group... one of those traitors Dracula was talking about.

Jinx kept tapping her finger, the speed of her beats getting quicker. I think I need to hunt soon. she thought, remembering she hadn't for awhile.

 

"Anxious?" Van Helsing asked, turning his head to Jinx.

Dracula went up to Mary and put a light hand on her shoulder with enough force to turn her around swiftly. "I have a special task for you, my dear," he whispered.

 

"I wouldn't go to her," Michael advised when he and Carl crossed paths. "She's in a foul mood."

OOC: you guys realize i haven't read any of the "dracula and sexy babes" stuff? xD

 

OOC: that's okay! cuz when your bored you can do that :P

BIC: Carl thought about Micheal's advice. "You're probably right, but maybe having someone who doesn't 'understand' what she's going through will help?" he suggested before continueing outside.

"Just alittle hungry." Jinx admitted. "I bet without this glamour I'm a horror." she laughed, letting go of it over her hand just to see. And sure enough her finger nails had elongated while her skin had paled farther than usual. She let the glamour slip over her hand again.

Mary looked at him with only curiousity. "Yes?" she asked, her eyes bright.

BIC: Van Helsing bit his lip for a moment and then nodded to himself. "You'd best go, then," he muttered.

"There is a werewolf in Gabriel Van Helsing's group," Dracula whispered. "He holds an item of importance right now, something the group stole from this castle. When we meet them all... I'd like you to make sure you get a hold of it for me."

Hikari strained her new ears to ear what Mary and Dracula were talking about, but found an invisible barrier in her way; their lips were moving, but she couldn't hear a word. Stupid vampire tricks, she grumbled in her head.

 

Mary wasn't aware of Hikairi watching them as her eyes remained locked on Dracula. "I'll see to it." she answered, licking her lips.

"I don't know, i think I can wait until we're done with this fight." Jinx thought aloud, as usual under estimating her hunger. "although you do smell nicer than usual." she added in a hungry voice, just to mess with him.

 

Van Helsing rolled his eyes. "We don't even know when Dracula is going to attack next, anyway... or exactly what he's doing right now."

"True," Edward agreed quietly, sneezing for some reason (that was for you, angelina! XD). "If you and Hannah need to leave, please do."

"As if what they're doing is ****ing normal anyway, feeding on ****ed up, little humans as if it's natural-"

"Sorry," D muttered, though his viewpoint wasn't much different.

"Good," Dracula said, and turned around to all the women in the main foyer of his castle. "I assume you're all ready, my ladies?"

Hikari stepped back slightly now that she could actually hear her master's voice. She nodded silently.

 

Jinx smiled at D and his hand. "I don't hunt humans." she pointed out, knowing what he was thinking by his expression. "And if hannah needs to hunt, that's up to her. I'll hunt by myself later" she muttered, now drumming her fingers rapidly. She disliked the odd 'going in groups' habit everyone had picked up as they stuck together.

Mary looked around at the women who's expressions of bloodlust matched her own. She couldn't wait to try out their new strength and complete her special task.

 

"Careful, dear," Van Helsing muttered, unable to help himself. "If you hold back too long, you won't be able to resist me."

"Oh, clever," Edward growled under his breath.

Dracula nodded once and teleported all the women to the outskirts of the town outside the Valarious castle, the sun just setting in the sky. There were still plenty of noises and voices in the streets, and he smiled.

"They will not fight back," he explained shortly. "So there is no fear for yourselves here; only make as much noise as you can; we want attention."

Hikari barely heard the last word before she'd run off into the town, unable to hold back anymore.

 

Jinx walked her free hands fingers up his hand to his pulse. "too late on that score." she answered, feeling his heart beat through his wrist. "Edward, do you really not like us keeping each other entertained?" she asked, after his growl, keeping her fingers over Van Helsing's wrist.

Mary let out a screech that scored the night's air after Dracula released them. Then she waited a moment, watching all the other new vampires take to the skies or streets. Screams and blood washed over her scenses almost immideatly, driving her mad so that she was soon in the sky as well, targeting those who's scent drove her even deeper off the deep end. Still, she remembered Dracula's task for her and kept out an eye for the werewolf and group she'd been told about.

Before Edward could answer Jinx's head snapped up towards teh window. "Did you hear that?" she demanded, getting up and standing by the window in a flash. "There are newborns out there... and their hunting." she put a hand to her mouth and nose, trying to block out the over powering smell of death and blood. Her hunger spiked at the smell even though her fingers and she suddenly wished she had hunted as she felt her self control slipping little by little.

 

"What?" Van Helsing repeated, unsure if he heard her correctly. He took hold of Jinx's wrist now and tightened his grip. "What do you mean?"

Edward tensed, hearing it too. "Something tells me those aren't Lestat's babies..."

D frowned, but said nothing.

Dracula drifted up into the night air, surveying the progress of all his children.

 

Jinx winced alittle at Van helsing's touch. With all the blood in the air she was completely aware of his heart beat, but she didn't pull away. "There are so many..." she whispered. "We have to do something... it's a massacre." she felt her voice crack alittle as, through her fingers, the scent filled her head.

Mary walked through the towns street, feeling like a goddess. She had fed on enough humans to make her stronger than ever and now she had control over heself again. The gorey sights all around her made her laugh aloud. "Where are those people?" she asked herself, now itching for a fight. The nervous girl from a few hours ago was gone

 

The scent of blood washed over Beatrice's delicate nose. What had brought about this sudden spill of blood? The question only grazed Beatrice's thoughts. It didn't matter what caused it, she was hungry. Why not join in? Then she picked up Carl's scent coming closer. He'd always smelt especially good to her, now was no exception.

Michael's nose burned with the smell of blood. The overpowering scent took his hypersensitive lycan senses by surprise. Fighting to resist the urge to go towards the source of the blood, he ran back to Beatrice. This had to be too much for her.

Hannah's hand gripped Edward's, the other covering her nose. She'd never experience such a sensation as this. Blood seemed to be everything. She'd thought it was tempting as a vampire, but as a lycan, it was worse ten fold. Keeping her hand in Edward's was the only thing stopping her from bursting out the door to join in the feeding.

"I can't go out there...." Hannah's voice was barely audible. Her eyes were the bright red of a rising sun.

Jinx looked over at Hannah. "That means neither can Bee." she stated seriously as she carefully let go of her face to tear off a part of her skirt's hem. She carefully tied the cloth around her nose and mouth like a veil, while holding her breath, to keep at least some of the scent away from her and free up her hand. "I'll guess that Micheal will be getting her back here soon. Are we going out there?" she asked Edward and Van Helsing.

Carl, still being human, didn't noticed the blood in the air and walked towards Beatrice. "Hello Bee." he greeted her cheerfully as he started taking care of the horses other than her Sorin.

OOC: cool :) that should be fun

 

"Where's it coming from?" Van Helsing asked, thinking quickly. "Tell me so I can stop it."

"It's obvious," Edward snapped, wrapping his arms protectively around Hannah. "Dracula and whomever is with him are out there... and they want us to come out."

"That's settled, then," D said quietly, and drew his sword, heading directly for the door without another word.

 

Beatrice looked slowly to Carl, a smile spreading across her lips. "Hello, Carl." She seductively returned his greeting, pacing towards him.

"Beatrice!" Michael shouted. With Carl distracted by the horses, Beatrice had nearly gotten him from behind. "Back away from him, Beatrice." He tried to keep his own voice steady and authorative.

Damn them... Hannah's thoughts became clouded. Her attention was fully on the scent of blood. She could see the people in her mind, hear their screams, almost taste their blood. Her eyes closed, one eyebrow raised, her head tilted to one side. Instinct was telling her to go outside, but common sense was telling her to stay put. Blood... blood... I want it.... Yes, I want it.

 

"Edward, you need to knock her out or I'm going to." Jinx quietly said, after a silent moment of watching Hannah. "We have more than we can deal with her hunting too." She walked out of the door, following D and knowing Van Helsing would be behind them soon. Micheal can deal with Bee, Edward has Hannah. I'll keep myself in check. That only leaves thee people to fight though... she grit her teeth, knowing sooner or later it would only be two people against an army.

Carl turned around, startled by Micheal's voice. "Eh," he stumbled backwards away from her alittle. "Bee, just do like he says."
