"No, I never said that." Jinx admitted, quietly. "But if you want me try harder, I don't think you'll be fit to fight anyone." she teased him, still watching the ceiling.

"Maybe not. I'm going to try sometime anyway. Not now though... when the time is right."

 

Van Helsing laughed again. "Am I really that awful to look at? Or does that distract you too much?"

Hikari nodded. "Yeah... whenever he tells us to, I guess."

Jinx smiled and slowly looked down to meet his eyes. "How long are you going to keep me pinned to the wall?" she asked, evading his question. "Someone might come along and think you were being improper." she said in a serious, lady like tone that didn't match with her lopsided smile.

"I doubt he'll ask us to, although that would simplify things." Mary ran a hand through her hair experimentally.

I'm sorry, Hannah apologized. The rest came out in an almost incomprehensible spill. Beatrice has really caught my attention lately. And I don't like Michael following her. I know he means what's best, but he's about two centuries too old for her. And not only that, but didn't he mention that he already had a girl? I don't see why he's hanging around her so much if he's got a broad of his own. Beatrice is the youngest of us all -- in human years and vampire -- and I don't think she's got a clue what she's doing. I know I act like I don't care about her too much, but I really am concerned for her. If I'm getting stressed out, I can't imagine what she's feeling.

OOC: well, you see... my jeffrey-kun follows me around... and he kinda walked in on me and angelyn having a... intimate moment XD

BIC: "If you really wanted to move, dear," Van Helsing laughed, "you could have so a long time ago."

Edward sighed aloud. You can go help her if you really want... even though something tells me she really can take care of herself.

Hikari sighed, sitting back to watch Dracula transfer girl after girl into and out of the room.

BIC: Jinx nodded thoughtfully. "That's very true, but it's interesting to give you contorl of the situation for once." she answered, beginning to duck down to get out from his pin but moving pretty slowly.

Mary continued to moved around, testing herself in little ways as she went. She gained more and more control the longer she walked around the room.

 

OOC: haha... something tells me jeffrey-kun will "accidentally" get a key ;)

BIC: Van Helsing let her go, placing his hands in the pockets of his trench coat. "It'd not be very smart to pick a fight with you."

 

OOC: naughty naughty hannah. no giving ppl keys to private... stuff heehee

BIC:"No, but that's never stopped you." Jinx pointed out, putting a hand on her hip and smirking. "I'm just teasing you." she added before he could respond. She didn't want him to get offended.

 

OOC: teehee! imma bad girl :D

BIC: Van Helsing sighed, though he had a small smile on his face. "Being a tease isn't very nice, dear," he muttered through his teeth.

 

"I know," Jinx agreed, unconcerned. She lifted up onto her toes and gave him a quick kiss. "That should make up for it though." she flashed him a bright smile. "So are you feeling better? Ready to rejoin the rest of them?"

OOC: yep. *shakes a maternal finger at you* tsk tsk

 

Van Helsing smiled and nodded. "Yeah... I'm sure all order has broken loose without us anyway."

 

"Order? What is this nonsense?" Jinx laughed, walking back into the room and flopping down into an arm chair. "So D, what's the story behind that hand of yours?" she asked, looking over her shoulder at him. "Aside from being one of the most interesting people we've met so far, what's his story?"

 

Van Helsing followed Jinx and went to stand behind her armchair, his arms crossed lightly over his chest.

You can go if you want, Edward told Hannah again. But it seems they're fine so far out there alone...

D shrugged one shoulder almost unnoticably. "It is part of my nature," he began. "A curse of a parasite I inherited from being the son of a very powerful vampire and a mortal woman."

Dracula only had about two dozen women left. Judging by the noise in the outside chamber, the new infant vampires were enjoying and marveling their new powers. His head was giddy and spinning with the amount of blood he'd taken in within the last five hours or so.

Let's see you evade this group with your little army, Gabriel...

 

"Oh, that's intersting. I'm not sure if that makes me want children or not." Jinx laughed, picturing alittle girl running around with a mouth on her hand cursing and yelling obsenites. "Do you dislike him alot? I mean if you do, maybe he could be removed?"

 

"Oh, that's really ****ing nice there, sweetheart! As if I'm not useful, as if the ****** world here could understand how-"

D snapped his palm shut once more, a small chuckled rising in his throat that barely got out. "I'd get rid of him if I could," he began quietly. "There are times I've tried... even cutting off my hand doesn't work. But the parasite has saved my life times in the past, so I live with it."

 

Jinx just laughed at the outburst. "I'm glad to hear it. Sounds like he's more of a partner than a parasite." she guessed, still smiling and glancing up at Van Helsing. "I'll bet you're never lonely."

 

D gave a small nod and grunted. He wasn't much of a talker.

"Someone should check on Bee and Michael," Edward began when Hannah didn't make any move (tee-frikkin-hee!). "I don't trust them alone, if you know what I mean."

Van Helsing nodded. "Especially after what happened to Anna a few minutes ago."

"Carls going down there." Jinx pointed out (he's just walking slowly... u know, waiting to make sure they actually are down there *cough hack cough*). "If anything is wrong, he'll yell or something." she waited a moment after receiving blank and/or unimpressed looks. "Or... someone could go check on them." she agreed.

Mary stood on the outskirts of the group of the newest newborns. She found it fasinating to look at each, her vampire memory comparing their pathetic human forms to their new, beautiful bodies. Eventually she got bored and walked to a window. She leaned half way out and looked as far out as she could. As she did she caught Dracula's words and glanced back towards the room he was in with a twisted smile, for a moment. "An army... I like that." she thought aloud.
