Van Helsing (Cont.)

Lestat was bored. Honestly, he sighed to himself. If Louis were here right now he would chide me like he always did! What can I do to be useful to my new friends?

And then chuckled, jumping gracefully down from the tree he sat in to float toward the town.

"I can think of a few things..."

 

Jinx smile warmed alittle in amusment. "Sure you can." she said, only alittle sarcasticly. Geeze, since when did I develop a jealous side? I am changing... that's just alittle annoying... "Don't worry, I trust you." she added, more seriously.

Carl smiled at them, "Well that should be an interesting thing to see, let's hope she just lets us."

 

OOC: i see u!!! and im on my laptop! yay for wireless internet!

BIC: "And that makes it all worth it," Van Helsing muttered, only half-joking. "Carl, what do you know about this girl, anyway?"

BIC: "Just that she has a brother and lives basiclly alone in her castle. LIke you said her family has been hunting dracula for a long time." Carl answered.

 

OOC: yay for purple carl!!! thats hot...

BIC: "Well, how far is it from here?" Van Helsing asked patiently.

 

Lestat wandered through the shadows of the streets, trying his best to stay out of the sun. He didn't bother to hide himself in the small bits of shade he could find; he loved being seen too much.

What do I need? he thought to himself. Ah, a shirt would be a good idea... and a library... or at least a house that has lots of books in it...

 

OOC: lol he can't have Jinx's color, he'll have to be happy not being so hot

BIC: "It should be about a day's ride from here if we don't stop." Carl guessed.

"I'm sure the horses will be happy to hear that." Jinx commented.

 

"Definitely," Van Helsing agreed. "There are all the other... troubles following us besides Dracula. What shall we do about those, I wonder?"

 

Carl shrugged, "What you usually do with vampires and werewolves, I would guess... no offence ladies"

"Why didn't we think of that to begin with?" Jinx asked, slightly sarcasticly. "They are alittle better than your two's usual I think, Carl."

 

"I meant strategically," Van Helsing snapped, glaring at Carl.

 

"I was going to do it on our walk." Hannah answered bitterly. "I guess we could go out later... soon I mean."

 

Carl ignored his glare. "Well let's see, who is after us? John, Jake, and Will right?"

 

"It's morning..." Edward replied. "We might not want to leave now, and night will be bad for both of us..."

 

"Yes," Van Helsing muttered. "I have a feeling Edward will take care of John... and there's that Lestat French freak that seems to have taken a liking to our troupe as well."

"MY NAME IS LESTAT AND I ROCK ALL WOMEN!!!"

 

"Yeah... what exactly is he? I mean does he want help us or hurt us?" Jinx asked, skeptickly. "he seems to have done both so far..."

Carl glanced at Beatrice quickly. "True, Edward thinks he's on our side... but I don't know..."

 

Beatrice glared at Van Helsing. "He is not a 'French freak.'"

"Then we'll wait a bit." Hannah sighed shutting her eyes. "My head is killing me."

 

"I think he doesn't even know what he's doing," Van Helsing sighed. "And," he added, turning to Beatrice. "If he's not some freak that infected you, what the hell is he?"

 

No need, Lestat murmured at Edward suddenly. I've found some things for you.

 

"Um," Edward began suddenly. "Lestat says he found something for me... which, I think, includes you. What do you think that means?"

 

"He raided someone's house?" Hannah guessed, keeping her eyes closed.

Beatrice held her tongue. "Forget it."
