Van Helsing (Cont.)

Jinx gave Van Helsing's shoulder a squeeze, glad he wasn't yelling anymore. As the felt better while she healed, she was getting worried about Van Helsing's head injury, although he seemed alright.

 

Van Helsing grumbled under his breath. "I don't like this..." he muttered.

"Beatrice," Edward said when he reached her. "Let's go... don't argue; come with us."

 

"I know, but maybe he'll help? Remember none of us liked each other in the beginning." Jinx replied quietly, looking over to Bee to see if she was coming along or not.

 

Hannah smiled at Jinx's comment, remembering how much she didn't like Edward when she first met him. Hannah didn't hear a reply from Beatrice, but she did hear her following.

 

OOC: time skip to avoid aawkwardness! XD oh and the mirror is a two-way door now, *****es! haha

BIC: Van Helsing led the way into Anna's castle, the mirror door still chilling him. He went to sit in a chair by the fireplace, crossing his arms.

"I can't believe I don't see Carl or Michael yet," Edward mentioned.

 

Jinx her elbows leaned on the back of the chair Van Helsing sat in, "So, D, what's the story behind you being here?" she asked, breaking the silence.

Carl and Micheal walked into the room a few moments after everyone else. "We got lost."

BIC: Van Helsing and Edward both raised their eyes at the same time as they saw Carl and Michael.

D stood against the wall by the fireplace, tilting his head down toward his chest. "Local bounties are posted for those wanted dead... I saw one for a Lord Dracula, and found the castle. Though I think I've finished the wrong monster here."

 

Jinx smirked at the thought of Will being dead. "Only in your mind." she replied.

OOC: i thought you would ^^

 

"Excuse me?" D asked quietly, turning to look at Jinx.

Van Helsing glared at the other hunter, as if daring him to be rude.

 

"Well he may be the wrong monster to you, but he was a killer like Dracula." Jinx clarrified, "And a particular pain to me, so i'm glad you killed the wrong one."

 

Hannah wasn't listening the conversation; she was watching Beatrice, who was standing in the corner with her back against the wall. She can't perk up? Isn't being with us what she wanted?

Michael was also looking at Beatrice. From the way everyone else appeared, there had been a fight. He wasn't going to ask questions now though; everyone was busy with the newcomer.

 

D gave Jinx a small nod, saying nothing.

"We're still needing to find where Dracula went," Van Helsing insisted suddenly. "I've no doubt that if he was so willing to have Will fight with him that he's off to find more allies."

Edward nodded, though he didn't look at Van Helsing. "He knows how many there are of us, and that he needs help."

 

"He may try to recruit powerful vampires, or maybe he'll make brides again." Jinx suggested, thinking over what he seemed pone to do.

 

OOC: Yes, Dracula does pwn. But this guy does more:


BIC: Hannah folded her arms, recalling Dracula's words. "So that's what he wanted..." She mumbled.

 

OOC: *GIANT FANGIRL SQUEE!*

BIC: "That b.astard must be doing that right now," Van Helsing growled. "Great... and to think we could have finished him and saved all those people."

 

"At least we have two more people he may not know are on our side now." Jinx tried to get him to cheer up alittle, "Assuming you are on our side anyway." she added as an afterthought to Bee and D.

 

D glanced around at the group once more. "You all are very different; races, attitudes, ages, skills, and standings... but with a common goal. You've joined together to destroy a singular evil that has wronged each of you in some way. I do not argue with your points of view, therefore, Miss Jinx, it seems I am for your cause."

Van Helsing sighed. "This is ridiculous," he whispered to himself.

"We obviously need more training," Edward began. "What we did today was obviously not how we can defeat Dracula. I think we need to learn to work better as a team in order to finish him, combining our strengths, weaknesses, and various talents in a way he cannot retaliate against."

Van Helsing listened to Edward's words, agreeing mentally as he thought of Beatrice ripping off Dracula's arm.

 

Suddenly, Light Yagami came out of no where and walked up to Anna. "You're useless. People like you shouldn't be in my new world!! Buahahahahaha!" Light asked Anna's name and then wrote it in his smexy notebook. Then he left, muttering something about a Misa.

Anna died of a heart attack 40 seconds later.

OOC: YAY!

 

OOC: OMG i ****ing love you! that was the best... post... EVER! XD

BIC: Van Helsing sighed. "Well, no loss there," he muttered, shrugging his shoulders. He looked up at the rest of the group. "How are we supposed to combine our skills properly to get rid of Dracula is the question at hand, no?"

Edward nodded. "It seems my role is to stay well enough in battle to finish Dracula with my werewolf venom by the end of it... Hannah and Jinx have similar tactics and styles, with the exception of Hannah's lycan abilities... Bee seems to be brute force and speed... Van Helsing, you seems to be much better as projectile and areal attacks with that damn bow of yours... Michael, you can do whatever the hell you want. Carl... well... do what you do best, I guess. And D..."

He trailed off his list here, looking to the hunter.

D reached above his shoulder and brushed his hand over the hilt of his sword, indicating his weapon. "Any spells the vampire may have," he added aloud. "I can eliminate."

 

OOC: Yes, I know! Light shall rule the world!! :D Now if only we could kill Near.... >>

Aw, poor Michael is abused. He needs a buddy. ^.~

BIC: "Michael and I should be able to hold Dracula down together once someone get him still," Hannah added. She looked to Beatrice. "You can do that, right?"

Beatrice nodded. "I'm pretty sure I can. But... it might be easier if someone could help."
