Van Helsing (Cont.)

OOC: *sniff* ... *sniff* *sniff* ... I GOT IT! BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD! YAY! XD

 

OOC: Yeah, I figured it was time I show some lovin' for the Twins. XD They've been overshadowed by Naruto, Gaara, Ed, Al, Ranger Pride, etc. ^^'

BIC: "Where's he going?" Michael turned around to look at Hannah.

"I figured it would be best to split up again. That way we'll cover more ground in a less amount of time," Hannah explained.

Michael narrowed his eyes. "Alright then." He agreed reluctantly.

Is is just me, or is Michael not the brightest of our group? Hannah thought and shook her head. She gave Michael a confident smile and then followed Edward.

"I just want to go home," Beatrice's naive answer probably wasn't what Lestat was looking for.

 

OOC: well they are well represented now heehee

BIC: Carl watched as Edward ran off. "That isn't a good idea." he said, simply although he knew there was no helping it now.

 

OOC: *sigh* once again, carl is referred to as a SHE... what else is new? :D
anyway... lol time to have VANNY actually DO something to move the plot along!!

BIC: Van Helsing turned a corner with Jinx and Anna and found himself facing a large doorway barred with long, heavy bars of steel. Inside the room was circular and empty except for a three foot stand in the middle that held a mysterious glass orb filled with some liquid and...

"What do you suppose that is in there?" he asked, already having an idea in his mind.

Edward grinned as he ran, his white rows of teeth bright in the dark. I agree, he sent to Hannah, hearing her last thought. I think heading up would be the best idea, by the way. Something tells me Dracula will be up there...

Lestat bit his lower lip. Despite how attractive the look was, he was really holding back his impatience. "You can do that," he said slowly, forcing a smile. "After you've helped your friends... or do you intend to quit and give up on that task you've already started? How many times have you said you've wanted to help?"

 

OOC: oooh oooh i've seen this movie! I KNOW IKNOW PICK ME!................ anywho: yes carl is now a woman, didn't you know that?

BIC: Jinx smiled up at the barred door, "Oh my, we finally found something." she looked at the two, "You want the door open?"

 

OOC: omg that one lady doesnt like this thread anymore so much that she doesn't post on it... :(

BIC: I agree. Hannah said, catching up to Edward. I wouldn't be surprised if he was hanging from the rafters.

"I don't really trust them," Michael said to Carl. "But splitting up further will give us a better chance of finding something quickly. I don't think anyone wants to stay here for a long time."

"I know," Beatrice said. "But my sword is with Sorin, and I'm no good without it."

OOC: See what I did thar? xD

 

OOC: heehee that wuz dumbb!

BIC: Van Helsing stepped forward and smiled. "Yeah, I was just going to ask that."

Edward frowned. What on earth are we going to do when we find him? I mean... I can't just walk up and bite him in the throat...

"A sword!" Lestat cackled, throwing back his head so his white teeth flashed. "My God, little Bee, you think you need a sword? You could throw me across a room and through a wall and you... your thoughts dwell on a blade? My Lord..."

 

"Finally, I can actually do something without holding back." Jinx stepped foward and placed her hands carefully on the middle two bars. She braced her feet firmly on the ground and renched the bars to the sides, forming an opening in them big enough to pass through. She stepped back, grinning.

"True, but... let's just fiind what we can get out before they do something stupid." Carl answered.

 

Van Helsing smiled at Jinx happily and stepped into the room. "What is that thing?" he asked, motioning to the glass ball on the pedalstal in the middle of the room.

 

Jinx walked up to it and tapped the glass with her finger nail experimentally. "Don't touch the liquid." she cautioned as the other two got closer.

 

OOC: the owner of this thread sucks butt... XD

BIC: Van Helsing nodded. He was more interested in what the liquid was holding... some kind of syringe. What could be in it?

"Maybe Anna should touch it!" he snapped sarcastically."Go on, princess. Touch it."

 

OOC: aw ur mean haha

BIC:Jinx elbowed him in the ribs. "Don't be rude." she chastized smiling at the glass with an evil smile. She lightly skimmed her hand just over the liquid. "Hm... I think I can touch it." she said slowly, leaving her hand suspended over it. "Dracula made this so people can't just take it right? But he wouldn't make it so he couldn't get it. So it will probably destroy my skin and maybe some muscle but I'll heal." she looked at Van helsing. "What do you think?"

 

Van Helsing frowned. "That may damage immortals irreperably as well," he began. "It may not be the best idea."

 

"True, although I really doubt he'd make something a vampire couldn't heal from." Jinx lifted her hand away. She thought for a second. "I wonder what would happen if we just emptied it onto the floor?"

 

"I kind of just want to shoot it from the doorway," Van Helsing laughed, though he was half serious.

 

"So go ahead. Since you think it's a bad idea to put my hand in it, it will probably be destroyed one way other another. Have some fun." Jinx laughed at him, stepping away from it.

 

Van Helsing grinned and looked sideways at Anna, surprised she hadn't said anything this whole time. He took out his gun and aimed at the top of the sphere, hoping he wouldn't shatter the contents and only the top. He pulled the trigger and the orb flew backward and exploded all over the back wall of the chamber. He heaved a sigh of relief when the syringe inside rolled over to them, unharmed, and stopped at Jinx's feet.

 

Jinx bent down to pick up the syringe. She straightened up, holding it carefully and looking at the liquid inside. "So, this is some important do-hickey of Dracula's. What do you think Miss. Anna? You probably have a better guess of what this is than us."

 

"A poison?" Van Helsing guessed. "Though why he would keep it in something like this I have no idea."

OOC: seriously why did dracula put the damn thing in an orb of icky stuff? lol
