Van Helsing (Cont.)

Jinx opened the door but stayed out of the room. "You knew what?" she asked, mildly, but didn't wait for an answer, "We're planning to go back to the castle in two groups. Are you guys rested?" she asked, leaning on the door frame, smiling.

 

Edward looked to Hannah. What do you think? he asked in her mind.

 

OOC: FILLER POST

BIC: Jinx also looked towards Hannah, wondering what they were saying.

 

"Yeah, we're ready to go!" Edward said, standing up when Hannah didn't reply. "How is everyone out there?"

 

"Same as always but rested." Jinx answered. "Let's just get this over with so we can get out of this town." a shadow passed over her face for a moment at her words but then she stood out in the hall with a slight smile again, waiting for them to pass.

 

OOC: Doh! >< I've been swamped with other threads!

BIC: Hannah frowned, not liking the idea of going back with everyone coming along. "They'd better be fine, 'cause I don't want to wait."

Beatrice tried not to shudder. "S-still... They wouldn't trust me anymore."

 

Jinx didn't answer Hannah's comment, knowing she would just snap something back about having to wait all night for her to rest up. Instead she lead the two back to the others. "Here we are." she announced as they entered the room again.

 

"Can't believe we waited around for you two to mess around all night," Van Helsing muttered when Edward, Jinx, and Hannah entered the room.

"Your just one jealous son of a b.itch, aren't you?" Edward snapped back, not in the mood. "As if you just stayed away all night long..."

Lestat smiled. "Sometimes you need to realize that fear is a way to earn new trust. You could do whatever you wish, my dear, but we both know that you will feel guilty, lonely, and unsatisfied if you go home now."

 

Hannah looked first at Anna and then at Van Helsing. "Some of us got hungry."

Anna narrowed her eyes at Hannah's snide grin. Her hand was already on her gun, loaded with silver bullets. Anna didn't care what the others said, if Hannah had killed one of the townsfolk, she'd soon be dead as well.

"But I don't want them to be scared of me," Beatrice argued weakly.

 

"Well, we have a plan," Van Helsing said suddenly, changing the subject. "We will split into two groups: Me, Anna, and Jinx... and then Edward, Hannah, Carl, and Michael are another. We will go to the castle, split up, see what we can find, and meet back here by nightfall. Sound good?"

Edward frowned. He quickly sent these words into Hannah's head: We can lose Carl easily... I don't know about Michael...

Lestat shook his head a little. "The fear isn't that big of a deal," he said. "People fear me... yet I still have many admirers."

 

We'll think of something. Hannah replied. She turned her attention to Van Helsing. "Sure, that's fine."

"We will search by upper floor and lower, or by east and west side of the castle?" Michael questioned.

Anna took her hand off her gun. She was content as long as she wasn't with Hannah.

"But you're different than me," Beatrice opposed.

OOC: OH SHNAPUH! It's Michael!!!

 

"There are many levels to the castle," Van Helsing replied. "It would be best to search by sections of west and east."

"That sounds fine," Edward agreed.

"I guess that's true," Lestat replied kindly. "Though... we both really want similar things."

 

OOC: Don't wanna leave the princess too far behind, do we? XD she doesn't like to read a lot. >>

 

OOC: omg i totally thought she was still here!! lolzzz i suck :(

BIC: Jinx felt the tension in the room rise higher as everyone talked so she headed directly for the mirror, thinking things might settle a little if they were seperated agian. "See you guys on the other side." she said, pausing for just a moment before walking through the mirror.

Carl grabbed his bag and hoisted it on his shoulder. He let the others go ahead through the mirror.

 

Michael followed Jinx through the mirror. "That was very smooth." He commented once he was through.

Anna glanced at Van Helsing before going through the mirror.

"What do you want?" Beatrice asked, unsure if she really wanted to know the answer.
