"I do," Beatrice murmured aloud. Her hand slid along the wall as she walked, moving up and down.

I should have killed her when I had the chance. Anna thought with arrogent regret.

Hannah collected herself and began to walk back to the others.

"Don't make me tell everyone what you just said out loud," Edward said to Anna.

 

That's too bad, Lestat answered. I told you there would come the time when I would lose interest in you...

 

Beatrice stopped in her tracks. I... I don't really know what to say...

"I think it's best you don't," Hannah said, entering the room. "It might make me kill her."

Anna cringed when Hannah came in; she liked her the least.

 

"Oh, drop it, Hannah," Van Helsing sighed. "She's not that bad."

 

"Maybe this would be a good time for everyone to catch up on rest?" Jinx suggested, "It's been a really long day and we all might fight better tomorrow."

 

Edward smirked. "I think you're both need to calm down before we lose more of our party."

 

"I don't need rest," Hannah muttered, glaring back at Anna. "In fact, I think I'm a bit hungry."

"Stay away from the town," Anna ordered and locked eyes with Hannah.

"Or else what?" Hannah challenged.

 

Van Helsing grunted in defeat and put his gun away.

 

Oh Hells, they're going to kill each other. Jinx thought, leaning on the wall next to the door.

 

Say goodbye, my little Bee, Lestat sighed. You've lost your chance.

 

"Rest is a good idea," Edward replied to Jinx's suggestion. "Hannah is much more tired than she realizes."

 

No, wait! Beatrice cried. Please, I need help... I was wrong... I can't do this on my own. I need you, Lestat.

"I'm going out, Edward. Would you like to come with me, Jinx?" Hannah asked before Anna could speak her answer.

 

Jinx ran a hand through her hair in irritation. "Sure," she sighed. "I probably should..." she looked Anna in the eyes, "I promise we won't hurt any human being, if that helps at all." she said, purposfully speaking for Hannah as well.

Will appeared next to Lestat, watching him have his silent conversation without saying anything for the moment.

 

Lestat sighed, reaching the mirror to go back through to the Valerious castle. For some reason, he found himself stopping, and he took a step back.

You don't know what you need, Bee, he said back, though his voice wasn't harsh.

 

"You need to just cool it and get some rest," Van Helsing ordered at Hannah. "Everyone stays inside tonight."

 

Please, Lestat, Beatrice tried not to sound desperate. I'm scared...

"Would you rather I eat her," Hannah pointed at Anna. "Or a deer, Van Helsing? Because I'm in the mood for a good hunt, and I'm not going to get that staying inside. So I suggest you let me go before Anna or Carl end up as my dinner."

 

"I'll keep an eye on her." Jinx spoke up, not trusting Hannah to control herself at the moment. "We'll only be gone for half an hour, deal?" Just let her blow off some steam killing something before you end up as dinner. she thought to herself.

 

"My God, that's enough!" Edward cried, and stood up. He walked over to Hannah and wrapped his arms around her, threw her over his shoulder, and walked down the nearest hallway.

"We need to talk," he started.
