Van Helsing (Cont.)

"Please move," Beatrice tried again, through grit teeth.

 

Dracula laughed under his breath and opened his arms, once more blocking the door. "No."​

 

Beatrice hung her head, muttered a curse she'd never used before. She was too passive to fight and her "negotiation" tactic hadn't worked. Still silent, she turned her back on Dracula and walked to the other side of the room, arms folded.

 

"You're angry," Dracula said, stepping over to Beatrice slowly, his arms outstretched as he spoke. "You think you've lost everything and you don't want to put that anger into physical exhertion. That's not a bad thing... there are other... releases."​

OOC: i have to go to bed now... 9:00 class in the morning... ugh :( see you when i get home tomorrow night around 8:30 :glomp:

 

Beatrice spun on her heel to face Dracula. "And you expect me to trust you? Believe you? That's not happening."

OOC: Nighty night! I'm going beddy bye too!

 

"Oh, I don't expect belief or trust yet," Dracula answered matter-of-factly. "Not yet... maybe in a hundred years or so."​

 

"I won't stay with you," Beatrice said heatedly.

 

Dracula smiled. "Hmm," he began. "Well, then... what do you suggest you do?"​

 

"I'm not telling you," Beatrice replied as if it was obvious.

OOC: Is Al like Beatrice?? That one chick sitting next to me said so. XD

 

"Yeah, they wouldn't prefer her that way. If they knew what she was, they'd prefer her dead. She isn't lucky to have a family, not one made of good people who have been raised to fear monsters." Jinx couldn't help responding, queitly. "Whatever, they aren't important anyway." she looked from Edward to Van Helsing seriously "Do you think there's going to be any way of getting her back?"

OOC: i didn't say he IS. I said he was acting like her XD

 

"Then I'd suggest you take a seat," Dracula sighed, moving back to the window. "I'll be back soon; I'm hungry. If you're lucky I'll bring you back some young boys to place with."​

 

Beatrice muttered something about not being hungry, but just the thought of eating caused a small growl to come from her stomach. She turned and went to the bed, sitting on it with a flop, her arms crossed over her chest.

 

"Lovely," Dracula commented before leaving the room through the open window.​

 

Silly girl, Lestat spat at Beatrice suddenly. Should have listened to me...

 

OOC: *cough*VanHelsing*coughcough*... Who said that? XD

BIC: I know, and I'm sorry. Beatrice quickly got off the bed and left the room. If she coudn't find a way out, at least she'd have a chance to explore a bit.

 

OOC: oops... whos that? XD

BIC: "Honestly, no," Van Helsing replied. "I really don't think there's a way."

 

"Then there's no point in worrying about her," Anna put in.

 

Jinx's expression darkened at Anna's words. "Not for you, maybe. But she's our friend." she replied before pausing. "I guess you're right though..." she said sadly, to Van Helsing. "We'll have to fight her won't we."

 

"No," Edward snapped suddenly. "We will not lay a hand on her... at least, I won't, no matter what decisions she makes. And if you," he added, glaring at Van Helsing, "If you even touch her I will kill you."

 

I know you're sorry, Lestat sighed. I bet you miss me about now.
