Van Helsing (Cont.)

"Oh, he's fine," Lestat sighed, letting go of Beatrice as she moved. "He's just trying to process what's left of the venom in his body... give him a few hours and he should be strong enough to conquer it all... I think."

 

Jinx kept looking at Anna but shrugged at Van helsing's suggestion. "It's not exactly a hard question... but you're right." she agreed to let it drop.

"'You think'?" Carl asked, looking at Lestat like he was crazy. He pulled Edward up and got him to the bed.

OOC: AH! everyone run from ur bunny lives from the reping powers!

 

OOC: are you sure it's repping power, hannah? O.o

BIC: Let it drop. Hannah thought sarcastically at the last end of the conversation. She moved further into the trees until she couldn't hear the sounds of her company's voices anymore. She leaned against a thick, old trunk. This feeling... She laid a hand on her stomach. It's so weird... I hope Edward isn't feeling this. A small groan escaped her lips as her stomach knotted further in pain. As long as he's okay I can worry about myself.

Beatrice looked worridly at Lestat. "You think??" She repeated, her voice cracking slightly.

"It's after Dracula that I'm thinking about," Anna muttered.

 

Jinx smiled dryly at her. "Don't worry about that. We'll be leaving as soon as Dracula is dead." she informed her.

Carl looked worried. "Well we need to get Hannah, now." he said, looking at Micheal. "Can you find her quickly? You can pick up her scent right?"

 

Michael nodded. "She's deep in the trees, but near enough to find her quickly."

 

OOC: umm.. kindda sure.... :D

BIC: "Oh really?" Van Helsing asked Anna. "Your focus is off, then, thinking about after so much."

 

"Well, it's up to his strength at this point," Lestat explained easily. "I cannot garuntee his survival if he cannot pull through."

 

"But... but...," Beatrice stammered, casting a glance back at Edward. She sank back onto the bed, hanging her head. "That's not fair...."

"I know what I'm doing," Anna retorted.

 

"Well," Van Helsing sighed, taking a step closer to Anna and lowering his voice. "If what your doing involves focusing on the future when a large obstacle is not even taken care of yet, then... well, I don't know if we want or need your help."

 

"The only large obsitcal I see is working with vampires." Anna said icily.

 

"Then don't work with us," Van Helsing growled seriously. "We've got what we need from you: that mirror."

 

"Well you can't exactly take that with you, so I suggest you keep them under control or you won't have that mirror any longer." Anna said.

 

"Well?" Carl said impatiently at Michael. "Go get her!"

"Won't have it?" Van Helsing repeated, cocking his head to the side and frowning. "It's right down that hall, miss, and... I seriously doubt you could stop us all."

 

"Right," Michael said and headed out of the room. He gave a small nod of acknowledgment to Van Helsing as he passed and went outside.

Hannah turned her head at Michael's approach. "What? Is Edward okay?"

"No, he's fine," Michael answered. "But he wants you with him."

"Alright," Hannah said.

"Are you okay?" Michael asked.

Hannah shook her head. "But I will be. I'm sure it'll pass soon."

"What's wrong, Hannah?" Michael asked seriously.

"Nothing that you can help with," Hannah murmured, walking past Michael.

Michael stopped Hannah by putting his hand on her shoulder. "You can't just pass this off, Hannah. It could be serious."

"Let it be," Hannah shook off his hand and continued, rolling her eyes when Michael followed so quickly.

Anna put her hands on her hips. "And you are to fight your way through if I do, am I right?"

"If necessary," Van Helsing shrugged. "It matters not to me if you do or not... though it would be nicer if you gave in and just helped us."

BIC: Anna was quiet in thought for a moment, looking at Jinx. "Fine."

 

"Good," Van Helsing sighed. "Finally."

BIC: "But that doesn't mean I'll let my guard down," Anna said.

 

"Alright, then," Van Helsing agreed quickly. "Now..." he began, half-turning to Jinx. "What are we going to do with Edward and Hannah?"

 

"Can't you let them work it out on their own?" Michael asked, coming in with Hannah. "There are things happening that none of us understand."

Hannah walked past them without looking at any of them. "What's wrong?" She asked when she was in the same room as Edward.
