Van Helsing (Cont.)

"At this point you should be thanking me for making you want you are," Lestat whispered, still happily toying with a strand of her hair. "Despite minor setbacks from your friends," he added.

 

Beatrice was silent, eyes downcast as she pondered what Lestat had said.

"Don't mention it," Michael murmured back, waiting for Hannah's reaction.

"I'm fine," Hannah insisted. She folded her arms.

 

Jinx nodded, frowning alittle at Hannah for her stubborness. She stayed next to her though, incase she fell down again.

Carl walked over to Van Helsing, for the first them actually uneasy around him. "What's happening here?" he asked.

 

Van Helsing sighed at Carl, looking down at him with a grimace. "Carl... Edward killed John by..." but he faded off, his words stuck in his throat.

 

"I... bit him," Edward choked out, raising his head to look at Carl. "Took out all his... blood into my... body and then... had Hannah drain it from... m-me. The… combination of his blood… his blood and mine, in my body… she need to drink it to live… if she… loves me, it should have worked... and it did because w-we're both... h-here."

 

Lestat sighed, seeing the heavy thought process in Beatrice's eyes. "I have a very old friend," he began slowly, his gaze dulling slightly as he recalled. "A charming, mysterious friend of mine that gained a bit of wisdom from a fellow vampire; we all must be three things: powerful, beautiful, and without regret. You're regretting right now, little one; you're regretting what I've done to you and the things you've done since then. I know it's hard to comprehend now, but you must try to not be that way. It will only hurt you more... but also remember this..."

His gaze sharpened again now, catching her eye and holding it steadily. "Do not become apathetic, either. You musn't become one you regrets nothing, who feels nothing. Do you understand what I mean by all this?"

 

Beatrice slowly shook her head. "I... don't." She admitted.

"You don't have to explain now," Michael told Edward.

 

Edward coughed and nodded. "Take... me to... Bee," he managed now.

 

Carl looked at Edward and Hannah, amazed by what Edward had said. "My goodness... everyone's full of odd ways to heal lately." he said

Jinx looked at him, curiously. "What are you doing down here anyway? Where's Bee?"

Carl looked back at her, smiling now. "Bee's in her room resting and completely healed. She got the bullets our herself when we weren't in there and is completely healed. It's amazing." he answered her.

 

"Regret but don't become soft," Lestat refreshed with a chuckle. "Does that help at all? The last thing you should have second thoughts about is what you've done since I've met you... understand?"

 

"Healed?" Van Helsing snapped, turning to Carl. "How is that possible?"

Edward lifted his head and managed a low growl at Van Helsing. "You shut your Goddamned mouth," he hissed as quickly as he could. "Don't even think about Bee, understand?"

 

Beatrice smiled now. "Okay. I'll try."

Hannah stepped in front of Edward. "Please... don't."

Michael quietly started walking with Edward, Hannah right beside them.

Anna glanced at Van Helsing. "What was that?"

 

OOC: i take it the movie was good? ^-^ everyone was raving about it at school. What did u guys think?

BIC: Jinx looked at Van Helsing, frowning a little at his reaction to the news, and then looked at Carl, "That's great... thanks for telling us." she replied to him.

Carl looked around at everyone, now slighty uncomfortable. "Well... she just wanted you all to know she was alright. Are we taking Edward to a room so he can rest?" he asked.

Jinx nodded. "Why don't you go and make sure Bee rests?" she suggested. "I'm guessing she's not going to stay happy not doing anything for too long..."

"Take me to Bee," Edward said more calmly, looking toward Hannah. "Please... I need to see her."

 

Van Helsing ignored Anna, not sure what to say. "Let him," he said to Michael, motioning at Edward.

 

OOC: edward is a girl... jacob is yummy = summary of twilight.

Lestat smiled. "Good," he replied. "You must hunt with me again... sometime soon. That's not a demand, either, little one; it's up to you."

BIC: "Okay," Hannah agreed. "Just don't fight... not now."

"Van Helsing," Anna snapped.

Beatrice thought for a moment. "I'd like that."
