Van Helsing (Cont.)

Van Helsing sighed and let himself into the bedroom, shutting the door behind him. He lay down on the bed against the far wall, shutting his eyes.

 

"I actually don't know," Edward replied. "Lestat didn't say much else."

 

Jinx crossed her arms over her chest as she walked, looking at the ground.

"Thanks." Carl left quickly, going to the room where he'd left his and Van Helsing's things to get his med. things and then started looking for the bar hurriedly.

 

Hannah frowned. "That's helpful."

Anna entered her castle and started making her way to the mirror room.

 

"I can ask him," Edward began. "But I doubt he would want to answer. All I know is that when the sun goes down they will be here and I will take care of John."

 

Carl finally found the bar and picked up a bottle of rum that seemed like she alot of. He headed quickly back to the room.

Jinx wasn't paying attention and didn't realize until she almost ran into her that Anna was back.

 

Hannah sighed. "I feel like a blinded horse being led off a cliff...."

"Out of the way," Anna grumbled, passing Jinx and heading for the guest rooms.

 

"Hey," Edward said quietly, tilting her head up so he could look into her eyes. He kissed her twice and then gave her a smile. "Trust me."

 

Jinx looked up, startled. "Eh, sorry." she muttered, glaring at the back of Anna's head. "I guess you had a good day." she said under her breath, not stopping her pace.

Carl came back to the room and started setting up.

 

"You know I do," Hannah answered. "I'm just a bit scared."

It'll be better once the killer is dead. Anna thought angrily. That description matched that young one to near perfection. She pulled her gun from its holster.

"Got everything?" Michael asked.

 

"Me, too," Edward said quietly. "I... I'd hate to admit it, but I am, too."

BIC: "Of course you are," Hannah said. "There's no shame in it."

 

OOC: how sad!

BIC:"Yeah. Although it helps that her body will heal easy on it's own." Carl looked at Bee, "Do you think we can wake her up to give her the rum?"

Jinx reached Bee's room and went in. "Hey, I have to go and be back again really quick, but you should know that Anna's back and she's as angry as everyone else." she explained, blankly. Her gaze fell on Bee. "How's she doing?"

 

"Not sure," Michael answered Jinx. "We're going to try to take the bullets out and see if that helps." He looked back at Carl. "You could try."

OOC: *runs after hannah* dang... cars are fast O.o

BIC:"Alright... I'll be right back then." Jinx nodded. She wanted to ask where Edward and Hannah had gone but decided to just let it go. She turned out of the room and head back to Van Helsing's room. I wish she'd be gone a little longer so he could at least sleep or something. she thought, absently.

Carl gently proped her up to a more siting postion. "Bee, wake up." he said gently but loud enough to wake someone up.

 

Michael frowned when Beatrice remained still.

Beatrice groaned a whimper of pain. Her head rolled to the side and she closed her eyes tighter.

 

Carl frowned. "Bee, can you wake up for us? We're going to take the bullets out, alright?" he contiued, putting a hand on her shoulder.

Jinx reached Van Helsing's room quickly and knocked. "Van Helsing? Sorry it's so soon, but Anna's back. She's just storming around so I don't think you need to hurry...." she said, through the door.

 

Van Helsing groaned and sat up on the bed, pushing the pain in his face out of his mind. He reached over to the nightstand by the bed and sighed when he saw a basin full of water sitting there. He tried to clean the blood off his hands and face before replying to Jinx: "I'll be out in a minute. Keep her away from Beatrice."

 

"It won't be long now," Edward said, glancing out the nearest window at the late afternoon sun. "I..." He paused, turning his head to listen down the hallways. "I think Anna's back." He gave her a worried look. "This is not going to be pretty."

 

Get up, little Bee, Lestat murmured slowly, pushing a treebranch out of his way that drifted into his face as he floated along. Get up so your friends can help you... show them your strength.
