Appearance: 5'4, she has long brown hair woven around several laquered needles. Her intense jade-green eyes are slightly thinner due to the increased sunlight where she was born.

Magick Ability: Low level 2; requires hand to manipulate levitation. Uses magick only to increase her skills, preferring to rely only on herself and her own abilities than any kind of outside force. Refuses to use magick for combat of any kind.

Job Class: Traveler/thief; Jade is roving martial artist attempting to find a student worthy of her teachings or a master worthy to instruct her further; whichever she finds first.

Noble/Citizen: N/A
District: Currently staying in Mhaura
Alignment: Neutral - she lives by her own code of honor; as such, she will aid both those of evil and those of good, depending upon the situation

Background: Originally from a city further to the south, she was taken in by a martial arts master after her parents were only two of many victims taken by a virulent Plague that swept through her home village of Durlote. Some still believe that the Plague was spread on purpose through magickal means, but nothing was ever uncovered; not that anyone was looking for it. Against the background of unrest in the larger cities, the obliteration of Durlote was all but overlooked. She trained for ten years under her master, Eubwelo, swiftly rising to physical mastery of the art, bypassing his other students. It was Eubwelo who gave her the first name Jade, to symbolize the mastery over self and the taking of one’s anonymous place in the wider world. She rarely refers to herself by her former given name, Mystryal, but she kept her last against her master’s wishes to show she never forgot her parents’ mysterious deaths. She never explains, but it is enough for her to know and remember. This event is brought to the surface of her mind whenever she introduces herself, preventing her from reaching true mastery over body and soul through self-purification. When there was nothing more for her to learn at the hands of her old master, she left at the age of seventeen to wander the world in search of further training or her own apprentice. Long since given up on finding the reason or perpetrator of the Plague, she still harbors a strong grudge against those who use their magick for the physical or mental harm of others; she will never use any kind of magick for battle, as she would rather die than betray her honor code. Since she has no friends or responsibilities, she needs not worry about whether battle-magick might be necessary to protect someone else.

Jade takes small jobs for enough coin to stay at an inn or steals just enough to get by. She is quiet and observes every situation fully before committing herself to anything; her strange honor code is difficult for others to understand, as is her sometimes almost archaic and indirect method of speaking; she is never in one place long enough to make any friends or rivals. With no cause to commit herself to, she has no enemies or allies that she knows of. She is strongly loyal to individual people, not organizations or groups. Though she carries a two swords on her back as a sign of her physical mastery, she has sworn to never use them in combat until she attains self-purification through emptiness of self; the blades themselves are the uniquely southern sword referred to as a scimitar. Instead, she carries a simple darkwood staff she uses as an almost inconspicuous weapon. If ranged combat is necessary, Jade hurls the sharpened lacquered needles in her hair with the accuracy of a dart; still, she prefers to use her skills up-close whenever possible. Valdeaunia is only is only one of many cities she has visited on her trek northward, and in its present state, could prove interesting enough for her to stick around, at least for a while.

Demo Post:
Wind blew at her back as she entered the city of Valdeaunia, the hems of her sandy brown tunic flapping slightly. She surveyed the area around her with a calculating eye before stepping forward into the bustle of the city. She doubted there would be anyone worthy in this city; the very air itself stank of corruption. "Your pardon," she murmured, sidestepping a puffing merchant dragging a cart of fruit. She waved her hand without looking back, and an apple flew from the top of the cart to land in her outstretched hand. The end of her wooden staff clacked sharply against the cobblestones in time with her sure steps.

Better-dressed nobles looked down their noses at her simple garb and outlandish hairstyle, while thieves in the shadows rightly dismissed her as having nothing worth stealing. Moving with slow purpose, she climbed the stairs near one of the border walls and gazed over the rest of the city until she finished her snack and left the core on the top of the wall.

She paused her study of the city and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. Amidst the corruption, there was the faint scent of... rebellion. Perhaps this city would be worth her time after all.

Well don't take offense to this, but you are missing half of the application. I have to ask did you read the entire description of what was going on in the RP.

 

We are not in charge of who joins and who does not since we didn't make the RP, but leaving out half the requirements and not reading everything does not make a great first impression.

 

I feel like you want our characters to have conflict.

Background/History/Personality:

Leaving his hometown and his wealthy family behind, Arleck travels to Valdeaunia, in search of a teacher to broaden his abilities as an alchemist. Arleck, although stubborn, is intelligent and hardworking. Arleck comes from a family of wealthy scholars and merchants. His family, as well as the whole city, disliked alchemists - There was said to be a time when a group of alchemists have almost destroyed the entire city - which Arleck has decided to become. His family always cared for him. He is trustworthy and honest to them, whether it is work or just good times of recreation. He could reveal all his secrets and possibilities he wants in the future, except for one. His family soon discovers that he has been practicing Alchemy. His family has greatly lost respect for him and led them no choice - imprisonment. He soon escapes with the help of an assassin about to be imprisoned, as well as imprisoned alchemists who have been prison for years. He soon sneaks to his family's mansion and gather all his belongings.
As he escapes, he finds out a serious threat against him - He is now wanted: dead or alive with the reward being worthwhile.

He makes his way to Valdeaunia, hiding in the streets of Mhaura, to avoid contact with authorities. His only hope now is to find a teacher in order for him to defend himself, his right, and his pride as an alchemist.

Demo Post: Arleck dashed quickly out of the prison and swiftly dashed through his family's mansion. Authorities were on the way, as he was about to be finished in gathering his belongings. Arleck escapes from the back entrance. Authorities quickly surrounds the mansion, Arleck felt nervous. A sudden flash of lights and the smell of smoke filled the air as the front entrance has been bombed by alchemist prisoners who promised Arleck's escape. Arleck quickly runs towards the door and to the city's exit. Authorities were everywhere - in the hidden corners, the streets, buildings. The whole city's in rampage. Shrieks of frightened children and housewives made the noise loud as it can get. The city was brighter than thousands of stars in the sky. Arleck, terrified and exhausted, manages to escape with foreign caravans leaving the city and onto the city of Valdeaunia.

Apperance: 5'2, 96 pounds, petite with a slender built, curly blonde hair that reaches down to a little below her shoulders, extremely light blue eyes, rosey cheeks and with the same birthmark as her sister only on the back of her neck. She is pretty strong to be a tiny woman.
Magick ability: Level 1, she is trying to accomplish level 2 but it isn't easy since she doesn't have a lot of free time. The elder nobles in the Rus clan inhert magick abilities and because Kyoudai is interested in learning she pays attetion to them.
Job class: An archer, but no official work.
Noble/Citizen: Noble
District: Verlest
Alignment: Good but in desperate need of an adventure

Background/History/Personality:
Kyoudai grew up in the most splendid luxury along with her twin sister and baby brother. It's the childhood people would kill for and others grief for what they couldn't have. Her mother was rich by inheritance and would pamper her daughters with the most expensive textiles and jewellery she would find. The Rus family is an extremely rich and noble family that has been excisting for countless generations. In these genes there are archer skills, those in the family that are born with those skills often becomes the heads of the family. Both Kyoudai and Andrea was born with these skills and were with an instance picked out as the new comming family heads. Kyoudai had her father teach her some of the bow art before he passed away by a mysterious death. When her father died she wanted to be an skilled arher even more to be able to take good care of herself, and her twin sister that means a lot to her since they've been togeheter ever since birth and are bonded tight with each other. She's searching for an adventure, She's a dreamer.

Kyoudai is intending to go on an adventure with her sister since they are both dreamers and want the country to be what it once was. They are in a dilemma since they are the inheritances of the Rus clan and the comming heads of it. They want an andventure and explore the country and get it back to what it once was but still they want to look after their clan. They are now having a har time deciding wheter they should go on the adventure and leave the clan to their younger brother Samuel or stay and watch it all. Kyoudai wants to fight and go out exploring though she is still facing a hard matter when they have to leave their brother behind, He isn't a people person and Andrea and Kyoudai is the only people he talks to. Their mother doesn't want them to go, she has her head up in the sky believeing nobles shouldn't do a thing and most certiantely don't want her daughters to leave for god knows who long.

She is very confident in herself, and she's brave. She's an analzyer type. She's good with the arrow and she trains a lot to be a good comming successor of the Rus clan but what her true desire is she doesn't know. That's why she wants to go on an adventure to really find out what she desires. In Verlest she's a very well respected noble, with a lot of courage and many people look up to her. She's very kind and intellegent. She's blessed with the beauty of few and many young men have gotten their hearts broken. She's always been confident in what she does. And she's very stubborn, sometimes to much for her own good. She's deadly with her arrow and has a little martial arts experience that she's taught herself.

Demo post: Kyuodai woke up. She groaned a little as she was making her way out of her heavenly bed, struggeling trough the silk covers.. She brushed her blonde curly hair gently while looking in the silver mirror that only was reflecting her face. She pulled on the white and crimson silk dress that were pretty simple looking but still expensive and walked gracefully out of the room.
She stopped for a second. Wasn't it today ? argh well of course it was She stomped back in her room. Today was the day they were leaving. Kyuodai and Andrea. Finally the day had come, the day they had awaited for so long. The day their adventure started. Away from safe, prep Verlest and out to explore other parts of Valdeaunia. She went into her closet and tried to find something not to elegant that she could travel in. That was extremely hard considering she mostly had nothing but extremely expensive dresses. She though for a second then she reached for a box of the top of the closet.
There you are she thought as she picked out some of her training clothes. She slipped out of the white and crimson silk dress and decided to put on a light blue hoodie with white edges and some white, wide shorts with a lot of pockets. Not excately combat clothes but I can always change along the way. She picked up her backpack that were full of clothes and other several equipment and then she strapped her bow to the backpack. She walked out of her room and reached the top of a grey, stone stair.Oh I almost forgot! Kyoudai ran back into her room.
She opened the second drawer in her bed table and pulled out a necklace with the Rus family seal on it. Her father gave her that before he died, she always had it with her and what shame it would be if she would have forgotten to bring it along. She ran quickly back to the stone stairs. She saw her twin sister Andrea was down there waiting for her. Andrea was hugging their younger brother Samuel.She knew she would be met by Samuels sad bright blue eyes as she went down there. She knew he would feel lonely without them. But she just had to trust he would stand up for himself and grow up to be a fine young man, she had faith in him even though it scarred her heart to leave him
behind.He would have to take care of their mother and the Rus manison until they came back.
She snapped out of her thoughts and went down and fawned Samuel.

It's writing, you need it in life. Why not just do it again, you can add more detail in your paragraph than you did that last time you wrote it. Like seriously, when you write there is always a draft (rough copy) , you edit and fix your mistakes.. it's not that hard.

 

Took a thorough look at the bios posted so far, and will disclose some changes I wish to be made. Please bear in mind that these inquiries are not solely for my own preference, but details like the ones I'm asking for can help you also better understand the just who your character is, and help you better understand their thoughts and emotions. This will make it easier to bring your character to life throughout the RP. For some of you, I can tell that you already understand the elements of RP'ing very well, however, please humour me if I've asked you to provide some additional information. I'm sure none of you will have a hard time completing these tasks.

Was her personality different when her parents were still alive? And did she have a good connection with her parents? After her parents will killed, what made her decide to become an Assassin?

One small detail. Andrea's father was killed during a hunting session? Does this mean her father was not a noble? People of nobility in Valdeaunia wouldn't really engage in activities such as hunting. Being rich allows them to buy materials they need, as well as food, so hunting as a profession is unlikely for her father if he was a noble. However, if his death was simply due to a hobby that went wrong, please disclose this information if possible. If Andrea's father was not a noble, can you please disclose how this affected Andrea's life?

Could you please entail more about your character's personality? Thanks for disclosing the circumstances surrounding her parents (with the death of Maddie's mother, and the disappeared/abandonment of her father), but for personality sake, it would be great to know how this family dynamic affected her as she grew up. Furthermore, it would be great to know how her family dynamic as well as her personality led her to become an Assassin.

XD Maybe you misunderstood, but the Assassins in Valdeaunia do not wield Short Swords, at least not as a weapon they're extremely skilled with. Short Blades and Daggers were the choices, but perhaps you misunderstood the idea of a Short Blade. To keep it simple, if you recall the two blade-like weapons that Legolas wielded in the Lord of the Rings movies, that is in effect, what I was referring to by Short Blades. These weapons allow more mobility in the user's arms than that of a Short Sword, and was the intention of me making it one of their forte weapons. If you could please make that correction, that'd be awesome.

Jacen has closed himself after his father died. Why is this so? Was his father's death a painful one to endure (ex. was he murdered? horrible illness?). As well, Jacen obviously has changed a lot since his father passed away. What was it about his father that he loved so much? If you could disclose the type of person Jacen's father was, and the kind of relationship he had with his son, this could provide better insight as to why Jacen has closed himself to others due to his father's passing.

The capitalization of every word is unnecessary and would make things easier for you to type more quickly if you omitted doing it. Teleportation, Invisibility and "Level 4 Dark Magic" do not exist within Valdeaunia. Please refer to the Magick system I've devised in the RP info and categorize Satoshi accordingly. Next, please provide a demo post that allows me to see your level of experience in RPing.

This will be your only chance to redo your bio. The only passable things on your bio is your name, age, weaponry choice, noble/citizen choice, district choice and alignment; but these are the least important aspects to your character and contribute very little to the RP after it starts.

If you don't wish to be a job class that can be found in Valdeaunia, please refer to the descriptions for Traveler and Other and choose which one will be most appropriate. After doing so, please provide all of the necessary information for your character's job class (this includes a brief history of the job class you've chosen regarding where it originates from, why it was developed, what sort of powers/skills/abilities it entails that makes it different from anything found in Valdeaunia). Choosing Traveler or Other has *much* higher requirements in order to be accepted since it has to be something that will not interfere with the RP's structure. As well, this requires a lot more effort and information input from the user, but this shouldn't be a problem if you thoroughly understand what you want to be.

Very little problems. There's just one detail that needs changing due to the nature of the RP: I have no problem with Kyoudai having an interest in Aelthir, however, Aelthir's existence as the Ferawyn successor is not common knowledge. The only people who know of his connection to the Ferawyn House are those who secretly support him, but they disclose this information to very few people, and only talk about it with people they know are aware. If you still want Kyoudai to have an interest in Aelthir Ferawyn, feel free to do so, but bear in mind that it's unlikely that she knows he is the successor of the Ferawyn House--that is, until it's disclosed during the RP to her.

Appearance: Long black hair(down to the end of his neck), A scar alongside his left eye(his left eye is blind), A curved in nose, facial hair growing around the side of his face and at the bottom of his chin. He wears a black cloak(much like the one from Assassin's Creed).

Background/History/Personality: Roka has had many problems througout his entire life. His parents were merchants who had a little store inside town. One day while Roka and his family were in the shop, many men barged in and killed Roka's parents when they refused to give them the money they earned that day. Roka's and his brothers were then sent to a far place where Roka had no idea where he was. While Roka and his brothers were tied to a tree, the men grabbed them one by one and hanged them right before Roka's eyes. Roka was supposed to be the last one, but his littlest brother, using his little hands, untied Roka before the youngest was hung. Roka managed to escape the death bringers and live in the shadows for many years to come. He got back into town a few years later after years in the country. He then started to live across a local school. Whenever the kids would come out and play, Roka would go over and watch them play. One day Roka saw a boy come out with a text book, Roka came up to the boy, but the boy got scared and dropped the book. Roka then grabbed the book and ran across to where he lived for the time being. He read the book for the longest time before finishing. He then wanted more books, so whenever a kid brought out a book, Roka would scare the kid so Roka could have the book. One day while Roka was watching people come out of the school, he saw a teacher carrying several books, so Roka attacked the teacher and ran off with as many books as he could. He was then arrested when the book trail searched back to his living facilities. While in jail, he was given a book: Escape Artist of the Early Ages. During his time in prison, he had read the book inside and out, knowing everything there is to know about it. After being in prison for two years, Roka, at the age of sixteen, broke the locks to his prison cell and made a run for it, with the help of his book. He then devoted his life to revenge for what had happened to his family. While in Mharua, he had met a few others like him that wanted to help the world free of sinners, which is assassination. He now works as a savior for the village and shows the corrupt people of this world know what he is capable of at the age of only nineteen.

Demo Post: Main street is filled with many people, merely passing aside eachother for many different reasons, may it be work, shopping, or just exercise. Roka then brings out a picture of a raggedy middle-aged man. Roka then backs into the alleyway once more and waits. Many odd and normal people pass the alleyway, not even noticing Roka. Then Roka perches out of the alley once more and spots the man coming out of the grocer. Roka doesn't hesitate and starts walking toward the man. The man then turns off main street onto another and Roka picks up speed, as to not lose him. The man then goes inside a liquor store and Roka waits for several seconds before going in himself. Roka smirks as looking at the man. The man opens up a wine bottle as he attempts to sample some before he purchases it. The man then stops and steps outside toward the restroom. Roka finds this a perfect opportunity and sneaks up to the counter. The clerk turns his back as he cleans a glass and Roka runs up to the counter. He removes the top of the wine bottle pours in this thick substance. Roka then twists the wine top back on and heads out the door. Roka has a clear view of the man and the clerk from across the street. The man takes a swig of the wine bottle and smiles. Then his face expression is unreadable and in a matter of seconds, the man is down on the ground, dead/

 

Jade's really only a thief as a secondary; thief abilities won't be her main thing. The main is the martial-arts concept, so don't worry. xD I'll add in about the parents now.
