Utimate War:Light VS. Darkness

Ai walked along the streets of an empty town, twirling a kunai on her middle finger. "Qiuet..." She muttered. Her attention was caught by an open window; she peered in.

 

Doctor,do you know whats wrong with my sister?Zen said to the doctor."it seems she has been affected by Malbaro poison...the only way to cure her is with Malbaro wine...its made from tentacles of the Malbaros."The doctor said while examining Karie."ill go find some."Zen walked through the door as he said that.he then found Ai.Who are you?have you been eavesdropping?Zen gave a piercing glare to Ai

 

"So what if I have?" Ai snapped back. She grasped her kunai.

 

'you humans are all the same...it makes me loathe myself just for being one..."Zen said.He was still glaring at Ai"i have too find Malbaro wine to save my sister.i dont have time for this."

 

"Sounds like you don't know what you're doing." Ai stared him straight in the eyes. "You've got a lot to handle. Good luck." She turned her back and began to walk away, twirling her kunai again.

 

"all i have to do is find someone to turn this Malbaro tentacle into Malbaro wine...but who?Zen said as he took out the severed tentacle.

 

Ai turned to face Zen again. "That's it? How simple." Ai walked back to him and took the tentical. She pulled out a small clay cup from her pack. Turning her back so Zen wouldn't see, she worked on the tentical.

 

"ok....thats...convenient..."Zen said while Ai worked on the tentacle.

 

Ai spun around. "There." She handed him the cup. "I knew that would come in handy. So, uum... I'll be going now. No need to repay me. It's fine." She put her kunai in her poutch and walked by Zen.

 

Zen went back inside and gave the wine to the doctor."good this wine will cure your sister"the doctor said"but she will have to rest for at least a day."the doctor gave Karei the wine."you should get some rest young man.theres an inn nearby here.""No need."Zen said opening the door"I'll sleep in the forest."Zen left.

 

Ai reached the end of the town. "A forest, huh?" She sauntered in because she had nowhere else to go. "Good enough." She sat with her back against a tree. "That boy had a lot on his mind. I could tell just by looking in his eyes. I hope he gets along better than I did." She took off her pack and rifiled through it for something to eat.

 

Zen went into the forest and began to wander around.he soon found Ai."you seem to be popping up everywhere i go."Zen said"But why are you here in the forest?"

 

"Cuz I want to be." Ai said sarcastically. She found a piece of bread in her pack. She took it out, but put it back right away. Stale... "What do you want?" She looked up at Zen.

 

"Nothing really,its just that i live in this forest and dont like intruders."Zen said while staring back at Ai.

 

"Then I'll leave." Ai stood up. "It's ok. I'm used to being kicked out." She adjusted her pack on her shoulder. "I'll find somewhere else." She gave him one last look and then walked away.

 

wait!You can stay as long as you dont get in my way and dont harm the animals.Zen said as he left to another part of the forest.

 

Ai stopped. I can...stay? She turned to thank Zen but he was leaving. She sighed and sat back down. And I was planning on having a good hunt. Oh well. Ai removed the stale bread from her pack. She took a small bite. "Life's not fair...."

 

Zen stopped.Life's not supposed to be fair... Zen said that then kept on walking until he was out of sight.

 

"Tch." Ai wondered what sap story Zen had. Bet it can't beat mine anyways. Ai put the bread away. She looked up the tree she was sitting on. I could climb this. She stood up and removed her cloth belt. She wrapped it around the trunk and began to hoist herself up.

 

Zen layed down on the grass and looked up at the stars until he fell asleep.Life is never fair...Zen said before he let sleep overcome him.
