"The reason I'm wanted dead, is too large to share." He took out a light blue cloth, putting it around his arm. " And no reason that's large is important to know." He closed his eyes, doing in a large smile.

 

"uh-huh....what?" AZure said, confused, "can't you just tell me please?"

 

He turned the smile to her. "Nah, it's not something I would say." He remembered what he had done and how important the object was.

Nova, in the background, started making a fire.

 

Caxen walked to the fire, feeling tired. "Nova, how did I meet you?" There were still things he couldn't remember, but they were minor.

 

I don't know. You kinda stumbled into my camp.

 

"Oh. Thanks. And how'd I meet you, Azure?" He looked at her, not really WANTING an answer, but still curious.

 

she shrugged, "how should i know? i hardly remember what i did five minutes ago.."

 

Nova laughs from her answer.

 

"You left me." He clearly remembered that. It was strange, he remembered things from 8 years ago fine, but not from two days ago.

 

"oh....i did?" she seemed a little dazed but then just laughed, "i must be tired.."

 

"OK." He looked back, gazing into the fire. Suddenly, the fire leapt at his eyes, burning them badly.
