No Thanks User Nicknames

Well, with all the name changes I see all the time, I think there should be some way of adding a nickname to users for all the people that get confused after a namechange occurs.

 

Do you mean show who they were before or something like that?Or a name that everyone can figure out?

I mean like adding your own custom nickname to a user, that's displayed only to you.
It won't replace the actual username, but just place a little A.K.A thing in the profile, or below the name displayed on their posts.

 

Oh okay.So since I'm STH.If I change my username and it'll say,something like.Sonic underneath the username?

 

i say no, if they want people to know who they are they could just put it in their User Title or something.

you dont need to be a premium to get a namechange, its like 300 posts or 5 months

i agree, there is no point to this, it's not hard to figure out who is who after a while.​

 

I say no. It's basically like a usertitle. If you get a name change, put it in your sig if you don't think people will know who you are.

 

I am going to say no, think about it, take for instance the member Jeromeasaur! I nickname him Squishy, some people give him the nickname Banana, some call him Jeromeo, or Jerm, as well as Trigger, Trig, etc and so forth, if everyone used the nicknames then it would get rather confusing. If you can't figure out who a member used to be >> ask them. Though usually it is pretty easy to figure out if you look at their posts and stuff.

Nice idea, but not happening.
