[UPDATED WEEKLY] Monster of the Week

The cero fired at Xigbar came pretty close. It looked like a direct hit but instead Xigbar was standing closer to the fighters now. "Damn, that was close" he mocked as he laughed. He had teleported out of the way.
He loaded his guns, smirked, then proceeded to shoot tons of crystal shard shaped bullets along with his Sniper Nobodies firing from the mountain sides.

OOC: @9K9H: Nope. The special part of this round which will be appearing tomorrow will hopefully make it harder and more interesting :lolface:

 

Kouri jumped back and raised one of her hands, a thick wall of ice formed in the path of the bullets that would hit her or Starrk, "it won't hold for long, we need to move, now," she said to him.

OOC: okay, now I'm worried.... and I can't use what I wanted to on Xigbar! lol, was gonna try hitting him through the portals, see if it would work, oh well, I'll try it in one of my RP's, if we ever get to the fighting...

 

Whoa.....that isn't good.....I never did like guns... Xengla fired some fireballs at some nearby snipers, hoping to get rid of them before they spotted her. She didn't want to get showered with arrows so soon in the battle. "Gah.....she can make an ice shield....lucky." Xengla quickly hid back in the cave to avoid a possible retaliation for their lost comrades. Looks like that guy in black is the one calling the shots......he kind of looks like a pirate....what's he doing here?

 

Akane watched the battle from afar. She wasn't fond of teleporting anywhere, especially after hearing of the legends from her clan.
Suddenly, she felt the air's scent change, and heard crashing coming from her right. Growling, she withdrew her weapons, but knew whatever was coming was huge and light weapons would not be effective.

 

Kouri grinned, now that is what I'm talking about! ...Maybe when this is over I'll give him my number... whoa! back on topic please! She thought to herself, as she prepared to unleashe an attack on Xigbar and the snipers, they'll never see this comming! With that, she sent massive waves of snow and ice down the mountain, headed strait towards Xigbar. She kept enough control over it so that it wouldn't hit her or her allies.

 

Special part 2: A second monster :lolface:

Monster’s name: Ryukotsusei
Monster’s origin: InuYasha
Monster’s powers/abilities/elemental attribute: Ryukotsusei has an incredible armored hide that is nearly impenetrable, even striking the scar Inu no Taishou's claw left in it had no effect. His Thunder Attack Bullet are large, powerful, pure white energy spheres are launched out of Ryukotsusei's mouth and can be fired numerous times consecutively. Not only does he posses a large and intimidating body, his demonic aura can easily disintegrate rocks without even having the dragon come in contact with it.
Monster’s weaknesses: If an attack somehow pierces his skin, the only way to kill him would be to get through his skin and pierce his heart.

Other: Ryukotsusei does not necessarily have to be killed, a strong and big enough projectile can be used to pin him to something after he is severely weakened, similar to how the Inu no Taishou originally put him to sleep. I also assume it can talk.

BIC: As the attacks rapidly approached Xigbar a loud roar could be heard as the sky became dark. Within that instant Ryukotsusei appeared from a portal opened by Xigbar and blocked the path of the attacks. It stopped on the ground and watched it's opponents and turned to Xigbar, "I will uphold my end of the pact, you would be wise to uphold yours", it said with it's dragonic tone of voice.

Xigbar laughed openly, "Sure, all I gotta do is shoot and help you out". Again Xigbar continued to shoot but stopped after shooting another barrage. As he stopped he began to bend space as Ryukotsusei started moving about shooting it's Thunder Attack Bullets at anyone and everyone. Even if they missed the trajectory of the target them seemed to bend in the space and proceed after the nearest enemy.

 

Kouri jumped away from the lightning and the dragon, "how the hell do we kill this thing?" she yelled up to Starrk, while she made sure to keep far enough away from the thunder so it wouldn't follow her.

 

Xengla peered out of the cave again. There was a great rumbling and she had a terrible feeling that something bad was going to happen. She saw a huge dragon appear from a portal and it looked as if it was helping the one in the black cloak. Not good. What can I do? Is it an ice dragon? We'll see. Xengla leaned out enough to aim a stream of fire at the dragon's head then she quickly ducked back into the cave. What if they start attacking this place? I'd be trapped if it caved in. I guess I've got to find a better spot. Xengla tried to look for better place for cover, but found nothing.

 

Akane swore. "Dammit...this is very bad, I never thought the legends were true..." she thought. She put her weapons away, then shouted out to Ryukotsusei, "Great bone spirit, who said you could wake up again? I'll put you back to sleep for good."
With that, Akane took a running start along the ridge she had been on, then jumped off and transformed in mid-air. When she landed, she let out a vicious howl, then continued to charge at Ryukotsusei.

 

Xigbar's plan was working well. Using the spiritual dragons power but improved with accuracy due to his own bending of space Xigbar continued to fire off shots along with his Snipers.
Soon he noticed that the enemies gunman, clearly not human or at least formally, was headed towards him. Teleporting out the way of Starrk's attack, Xigbar decided he wouldn't be able to dodge all the time and should take out the threat to himself. "So, it's a showdown you want, huh?", he mocked as he approached Starrk while shooting from his own guns at him.

Continuing with his powerful Thunder Attack Bullets, Ryukotsusei was able to control the movement of the enemy as he knew where the space distortions where located. As he attacked he overheard someone call to him, "A little wolf girl challenges me?", he spoke to himself in a pause between his attacks.

EDIT: Forgot to mention this round is for two weeks.

 

Xengla heard a loud growl and looked out. There was now a giant wolf and it seemed to be challenging the dragon. Ah, the two gunners are also butting heads. She recognized the wolf from the Grand Canyon incident, and shouted at her in a way that hopefully would not warrant attention,"Hey! Keep it down a few decibels! You might cause an avalanche!" Xengla herself tried to keep her voice loud enough to be heard, but soft enough to be dismissed by the two opponents. So far every attack I've thrown at those two, they've seemed to ignore. Am I really such a bad shot? But something doesn't seem right....

 

Kouri watched Xigbar's bullets, they were traveling through warped space, so if she attacked Xigbar directly, there was a huge chance that the attack would miss due to the warped space, but if she could follow one of the paths set by Xigbar's bullets... Now she just needed him to fire his guns one more time.

 

OOC: Completely forgot about this. Either way I can't really do anything.

BIC: Xigbar's snipers continued to fire upon those who are not challenging Xigbar or Ryukotsusei directly.

 

Kouri's sword came up, and deflected the sniper's bullets back at them, while she kept a steady eye on Xigbar, waiting for him to shoot again.

 

OOC: I am disappoint
And too lazy to use colours.

BIC: As the two where about to engage they're opponents a portal opened infront of Ryukotsusei's path and forced him out of the area. With him gone another portal opened up behind Xigbar, "Time to go already? Guess we'll finish this another time", he said as he stepped through and disappeared.

OOC: Round whatever we're on end.
Guess the special thing didn't work in the end.

 

OOC: Oops, forgot about this again. Anyway, if this round fails like the last one I'll probably ditch this RP to make room for other things or let someone else take over the monster business.

ROUND 10

Monster’s weaknesses: Kindness for terrain based deeds

Location: Bamboo Forest

ROUND 10 Start

Hei Bai appeared from the trees of the bamboo onto travelling humans who had made a make shift camp site out of bamboo as well setting part of the forest on fire. He punched and slammed them away and towards the exit of the forest from whence they came and made sure they left with a loud sonic scream that pushed them back further.
