[UPDATED WEEKLY] Monster of the Week

OOC: no, I meant the other one where he bends over backwards, I did not mean that my character was slowing down time, just that he bent backwards to dodge a spear flying at his face, which is what I have heard people call "the matrix" or "the matrix move" but I will go back and edit it.

 

Akane growled. "Don't underestimate me, boy. I'll crush you under the rubble as well if you don't watch yourself," she said, preparing to transform. She fended off a few more of the small monsters, then shouted, "If you want to live another day, then clear out."

 

Phanlanx was occupied with the wolves exploding against his revived protection. His 25 Hoplites quickly went down thanks to the injured few to 9. Phalanx himself had a clear large amount of damage but he was still far from death. The last few Hoplites continued to attack as Phalanx was powerless to revive his fallen for a short while.

 

Genservant fired several volleys of fireballs at the Phanlanx, more than a few would most likely make it through due to the small amount of protection remaing, then he ran out of range from Akane's transformation.

 

"Age means nothing in battle, it's your will to keep living. You do not seem to care for your life, so be it," Akane said, and seeing that all the others were out of the way, she took several steps forward, then transformed into her massive wolf form. By doing this, she smashed through the ceiling and instantly brought down heavy debris on the area, effectively causing the rest of the castle to crumble as well.
Akane shook off the rubble from her fur, then lept a few meters back to watch for movement.

 

Genservant dodged most of the debris, only getting hit by minor pecies that barly left cuts on his skin, needless to say, he would be sore tomorow.

 

"Well this is more than a small set back but i can deal with it, i think that the atmosphere is perfect for what i'm going to do, i can feel the static all over my body and i can hear the thunder rolling in the sky, now just to entertain this thing a little longer" he said as he nudged to the left to avoid a spear, he cut off putting flames into the atmosphere. He saw Akane come onto the roof and as she brought it down he smiled innocently and said "Good luck" as he leaned back to fall with the debris before emitting a burst of Black fire from his back to correct himself and land on his feet. He looked at the Phalanx as there was the boom of thunder in the air. His right hand seemed to be glowing with what looked like black static and he counted the numbers of Hoplites left...."1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9....perfect" he thought as he took out a lighter that was in his back pocket that emitted the same black flames he was able to use and threw it to the ground on top of the debris and the floor went up in black flames. He picked up the lighter and pocketed it again as he sat in the flames.

 

The roof debris crushed Phalanx and the remaining Hoplites. It was difficult to see if it had finished them off but with the insurance attack from Kyle it became clear. The roof had splattered the demon and it's bodyguards. The flames where simply burning away the smudge-like remains.

what? Wolfie brought down the roof and ended it. How is Arch partly the winner?

 

Arch did the most damage and took down the most Hoptiles, he also used a similar strategy to the actual method of beating Phalanx from the game. Wolfie landed the final hit using a method that doesn't use it's weakness. It's all part of a point system I posted a basic guideline to a few rounds ago. If you've got a problem with how I rate things then feel free to drop out.

 

It isn't that at all, i was just wondering how considering that Wolfie brought the roof down on it. Can you link me to the post where you put up the points system.

EDIT: Found it, atleast now the choice makes sense to me XD

 

This weeks round won't be up due to some technical issues I'm having, so next week will be a special round.

Monster’s name: Xigbar
Monster’s origin: Kingdom Hearts II
Monster’s powers/abilities/elemental attribute: Space attribute. Xigbar has the ability to teleport, shift the terrain instantaneously, and carries two pistols that can fire thousands of rounds at once or be combined in order to create a powerful rifle with high stopping power. Although he can't technically fly, he can stay in midair indefinitely. He is also very durable and combat ready. If he isn't beaten quickly or takes too much damage, he will shrink the area and go in a beserk mode which will increase his powers and reduce the number of times he needs to reload.
Monster’s weaknesses: Having to reload his weapons.

ROUND 9 (Special Round) START

On the mountains a strange black portal appeared. It was the size of an average human man and what appeared to be an average human man stepped out of it. This man, clad in a black coat, seemed suspicious. His hair style, scars and eye patch made him stick out even more. This was Xigbar, a deceptive Nobody. It was unknown what his purpose here was, but after his appearance more Nobodies appeared. This time they weren't human-like in appearance. These where the Snipers.

 

Kouri used her sword to pull herself up onto the ledge, to see a strange sight, snipers! She thought, wait, but that means that... She looked around to see Xigbar, what had previously been a fight that she could expect to win on her own, had now become an imense struggle, without any aid, her chances of winning the fight would be slim.

OOC: you forgot the fact that he can stick different parts of his body through diferent portals, without that, he won't be able to look you in the eyes and shoot you in the back at the same time! :D

OOC: okay, so Fayt, will Xigbar do that, or will we get an easier fight?

Kouri spun around, "I've seen you before, you were there when we were facing the darkside, right?" she asked.

 

Xengla decided to take a peek outside the cave. What she saw surprised her. What the.....these guys again? And....some other strange guy? This is a mountain! An isolated icy, cold, mountain! Bah. So much for the cold maybe helping with my wounds. Xengla stepped out and aimed a fire slash at some of the snipers. I've had enough with pointy objects directed at me. She then fired a stream of fire aiming somewhere on the mountain above Xigbar. Maybe a snowdrift will fall on him and we can just end this quickly.
