I need to lift the vocals a bit more. Here are the lyrics:

    Lying naked on my bed
Below your shadow on the wall
    Our silhouettes are dancing
As you take me to the floor
    I feel your steady breath
    As soft as your caress
    Gentle pinpricks on my neck
I never know what's coming next
Can you hear that distant sound?
    There's another world outside
For now it's just you and me
So keep me up all night
Take my hand and don't let go
See the stars shine in my eyes
But it's time to make me scream
    So **** me.

    Wet lips upon my chest
My feet on your bed rest
The smell of sex and sweat
    Another night I'll never forget
How can I live without you?
How will I go on when you're gone?
As I'm driving away my rear view mirror
    Shows your fading home
    You whispered in my ear
    That you'd always be near
I'll see you in my dreams
    Put tonight on repeat.

I'll give you feedback, but first, did you make the beat?

Yes I produced everything and recorded the vocals that my friend sung.

    Alright, well here's my take:

    Listener's Stand Point:
**** that Intro.....Hey, this is Quite nice, pretty good. Hard to jam to once the vocals first kick in...It's hard to hear them now...Nice lyrics otherswise though...The **** me part made laugh. Then it really got pretty good. Overall I liked this.

    Producer's Stand Point:
As far as the mixing, everything seemed good. EQ was well. Could have changed it up and added some reverb and turning the wet up and dry down, just to add a little twist. Studder job was poorly done. During the first verse, you should've have had the lead up so high because her vocals got really had to understand. Nice choice of dream kit. Wasn't feeling the Delay on the piano, but it was good enough. Like I said, that distortion in the intro was annoying and wasn't cool enough to stand out as a neat intro. You changed scales up with the saw at the beginning and with the high pitched lead, which is fine, but I wouldn't recommend that. Overall you did a very good job. I myself am an Electonica/House producer and always love to hear others work. Keep up the good job and keep posting your work. Unfortunately you wont get any other feedback mot likely, I experienced that when I was new to the site. Might I ask what you used?

FL Studio. Cubase 5 is on my X-Mas list.
Thanks for the feedback though! What is a studder job?
And the high lead is what makes this genre what it is; hardcore. Also when you say changed scales what do you mean? There are no key changes in this song.
The intro is just DJ friendly and you would essentially never hear that part at an actual rave.
Also it would be rad if you could link me to some of your stuff. I'd love to hear it.

No problem. I use FL Studio as well. Cubase is nice, but not as user friendly. Studder Job is when it said **** ME and it studdered, it could have been done better. I don't have a link, but I have an album coming out soon. It's hard to explain about the scale thing, but it was fine, I just noticed it being more into music, but I'm sure a regular listener wouldn't care.

    Explain it, I will understand.
And yeah I just want to take the next step with Cubase as it really is the industry standard although FL is still great. Logic Pro is the tits for making drum n bass. I msn you now.
