Ive realized I'm practically in love with someone who, to best of my knowledge, does not feel the same intense feelings. Basically, I'm stuck in the friend zone...what should I do?

There is nothing you really can do, to be honest. Have you asked this person? If you don't know for sure, you will never know.

I've been through this before. Honestly, there's not really much you can do when this has happened. I know it's easier said than done, but you should talk to them about it. When it comes to feelings, you can never be too careful with being sure.

If it's absolute that this friend doesn't share your feelings, then you'll just have to accept it and move on, there are plenty of others in this world, you will move on. But before you do, just make sure.

Well, yes, I've told this person I really liked them and they said that they do not think of me as more than a close friend...for now.

Honestly, the friend zone isn't really that bad c:
I understand how it can be annoying to people but if you think of this 'friend zone' as such a negative thing then you're just letting this get to you. If you're friends, then that's awesome isn't it? You get to spend time together and have fun and stuff. You love this person, and don't hold that back - don't stop that. Let your feelings do that, there's no crime against being in love with someone. Keep spending time with this person, maybe this person isn't ready yet, but if you will be there for that person - I think this person will come to realize just how much you mean to them and how much you care.

    ^This.

Its true, you can't know for sure unless you ask. But what put you in the friend zone? How do you know you're in the friend zone?

Also, like the person before me said, this friend zone is so not as bad as it seems. I know a couple of my guy friends that might actually like me, but I've put them in the friend zone because I get to spend time with both of them and that way I don't risk a great friendship that we already have. Its just a thought, but he'll know when he's ready, and then you'll know when she's ready, and then all will be good and well :D

I ask you to look at your own signature and take comfort in it.

Well, the advice I can give you is this:
If he doesn't see you as a girlfriend, than the best thing you can do is just be a good friend. Go on with life the way you always have, don't let this drive you away from your friend. Eventually, they might start seeing you that way too. But something really important: If you're serious about wanting to get together with him, don't go enter into another relationship just to pass the time. If you do, then he'll probably think you weren't that serious, or you got over him or something. If you really want to date him, wait for him.

Basically what everyone else said. Just stay friends with him for now. Who knows, he might like you someday. Don't force anything upon him, though. It will drive him away, make him uneasy. Good luck :)

I was a situation similiar to this, a girl I was sitting next to in one of my classes, at first I wasn't attracted to her or anything of the sorts and just had a laugh with her. But after the point of becoming attracted to her, was the point I also felt intimidated by her. See, I have been extremely anxious around people I find ttractive, and avoid them altogether almost, and that's pretty much what I did. I barely spoke to her anymore, only got on with the work at hand.
And I was so anxious to even mention my feelings that I struggled ot ask one of her friends if she could find out if she might like me. Which in return I was told to be a simple 'he's a friend, nothing more' type of situtaion. I know it could have been a lie but I believed it, it i was what I expected.

Even now, a year later of first gaining that crush, when I still see her I kind of hold my breath and stare, and imagine what could of been. And I personally find it worse, because I don't easily get attracted to people and it's so hard to find that spark again.

If i've learnt anything, if you're gonna try finding out someone's true feelings deal with it directly, go to the person and deal with them.

Things similar like this have happened to me, too...but never this strong. It's like I can't be completely happy when I'm separated...that all this time I've just been content with my life...but then, if I get to spend time around him it would make me forget everything else and just enjoy what's there in front of me. I don't know, it's hard to describe in words. But yes, at least I've been kind of forward and told him how I feel...in writing because it really is difficult to express it in person.

I'm a situation exactly like this, except I don't really know if she's being honest about how she feels.

My best advice is to just let your heart have its way and do whatever you feel is right. As long as you don't corner her in her bedroom or something extreme like that, you'll be fine. Go on loving, whether or not your feelings are returned. In my experience, unrequited love is forever. In my opinion, it's the sweetest pain in the world. There is no doubt in my mind that if your heart ends up being broken, it'll the best heartbreak you'll ever feel because it proves you were really in love and likely always will be.

I was in the friend zone for a while lol but eventually me and her ended up goin out. The best thing you can do rite now is to be there for your friend, spend time together, and you won't have to worry about anything going wrong. Eventually feelings mite change.

Sounds like you still have a chance. The best advice I can give you then is to be as kind to him as you always have been. Show him how much you care by being there when he needs you. Sometimes, helping someone through an emotional low can spark emotions there never were before.
I'm not saying that this will always lead to more, but you never know.

I guess...the thing is I can't physically be there because this person actually lives in another state now. :/
Unless I have amazing online seducing skills? Haha

Ah, I know that feeling. To not being able to hold that person in your arms, But what Styx said, there is a chance it would work out. Just talk to him when you find an open window, and tell him how much you care and all that. I don't know about seducing him, but I'm sure he'll appreciate it if you tell him.
