Kingdom Hearts II Unlocking the ES...

To unlock the ES, do I have to beat all the worlds and the five absent silhouettes and then beat Xemnas, or can I beat Xemnas and then beat the worlds and the absent silhouettes?

 

I beat all the silhouettes, worlds, THEN Xemnas.

But I don't see why order should make a difference. :/

 

Actually, I beat Xemnas, and I had 100 Acre Woods left to complete as well as two absent silhouettes. I completed 100 Acre Woods, and the 2 remaning absent silhouettes, but still no ES, so I was wondering if it were a glitch in my system, or it's supposed to be done in a particular order or something.

Also, in that file (the one where I beat Xemnas, then the two absent silhouettes and then 100 Acre Woods), I have the firefly still circling around Hollow Bastion/Radian Garden, and when I go press R1 on Hollow Bastion when I'm viewing it in the world-map, it shows me the remaining missions that I have left to do. When I scroll down, there's something there (in Japanese, so I can't understand what it says), with NEW flashing on the top right corner. Can someone please tell me what that is (I THINK it's saying that Sephiroth is available -- if it is, do I have to beat him too in order to get the ES?).

When you beat Xemnas did you save afterwards? (At the "Battle Report")

If so I will say you don't need to beat Sephiroth...I got the E.S. just by beating and saving then continuing after Xemnas.....

Otherwise I don't know

 

Yep, after beating Xemnas (but not 100 Acre Wood or the 2 Absent Silhouettes), I got the Battle Report screen and I saved it there. However, I did not get any secret ending of any sort (just the regular ending).

Then, I went and beat the 2 Absent Silhouettes and 100 Acre Wood (since it IS a keyhole for Hollow Bastion), but there was still a firefly around Hollow Bastion (even though it had 3 keyholes completed) and there was no ES :(.

I think I know the problem.....You beat the other places...Now beat Xemnas again and save from it then he should be known at Disney Castle

 

if that doesnt work talk to minni and it should open.

 

My friend, he killed Demyx, Then he fought the normal E.S.

 

Hm... so in my original file (the one that has the same right before the Xemnas battle, I went out and beat 100 Acre Woods (so I have all the worlds completed) and I went ahead and beat one of the remaining absent silhouettes. I'll beat the last one later, and go beat Xemnas and see what happens.

Never knew you had to do that! I'll try talking to her in my post-Xemnas save file (the one that I beat the remaining absent silhouettes and 100 Acre Woods after beating Xemnas) and see what happens!

That's probably what you have to do. That, or you never completed Space Paranoids.

That doesn't work. She just says some Japanese stuff. :/

 

I completed Space Paranoids (I can fight Sephiroth). I guess I probably have to beat everything then beat Xemnas then.

basicly its like this if you beat xemnas then complete all the other stuff it wont show. bbut if you completed all the worlds. and org post battles. go beat xemnas [again] save then reload. then it should say somethin like n event at disney castle
