Kingdom Hearts II Unlockin Jap voices in KH2FM+

I have cleared KH2FM+, as well as RE:CoM, both Sora and Rikus storys, yet I still only have silence in the new scenes. What do I have to do to trigger the scenes to have sound? Before someone asks, yes I have all three clears still on the card.

 

You'll know you have Japanese voice-overs unlocked if you can select it in the Theatre Mode. There will be some options in a red box at the top right of the screen, which you can change using the L and R buttons (not sure if it was 1 or 2).

I forgot which side was Japanese, but essentially if you have those options, just turn on the Japanese before clicking the cutscene you want to hear.

 

I do seem to have that, but is it possible to make the ingame versions of the scenes have voices, or does that require a new file?

 

Unfortunately, no. The game can only be played with English voice-overs (thus, the new scenes will be silent-subbed) when playing through the game.

You can only view the cutscenes with Japanese voice-overs in Theatre Mode.
