Unknown powers

"So umm do you have any family," Nox said.

 

"Ya, but I didn't want to put them in danger, so I left. What about you?" She asked.

 

"No one realy close to me, but..." Nox stoped. He looked sad.

 

Rae looked over at Nox, "But?" She asked with interest and concern.

 

"I had a girlfriend named Anna," Nox started, "she knew about my powers and she loved it when I used them to entian here. When she came for me she stood in there way. I was scared and couldn't do any thing for her. They killed her and went after me."

 

"I'm so sorry." Said Rae looking down.

 

Nox was silent. Trying to fight back tears.

 

Rae noticed Nox trying to hold back tears, then placed a hand on his shoulder and asked, "Are you ok?"

 

A tear went down his cheek, "no."

 

"Do you want to talk about it?" She asked.

 

"Whats there to taslk about," Nox said.

 

"Well nothing, I guess." She said.

 

"Sorry," Nox said.

 

"It's fine." Rae said.

 

"So... what can we do," nox said.

 

Rae shrugged then said, "Do you think there is somewhere we could stop?"

 

Nox saw a gas station ahead, "how about there?"

 

"Well I was kind of thinking of a place to stop for the night." Rae said.

 

"oh umm I realy don't have much money," Nox said.

 

"I've got it covered." Said Rae.
